The first time I played bloxburg I didn't know that floors existed. Instead I used fences, You hear me right, FENCES as floors. And then when I discovered floors, I got the multi-floor pass and didn't know you could build floors on the second story. So I used a roof instead. I also remember that I wanted a lot of things in my bathroom, So my bathroom was 5 times bigger then the house itself.
I remember using a floor and a roof at the same time ;-;

Practice makes perfect! Beginners reading this, it takes time for skills. Don't rush it, find your Aesthetic, trial and error is the only way to find your own style and aesthetic. Many great builders today were once noobs who didn't know what they were doing. It took me 3 months to become decent at building so....you do you ♡♡♡

@@CarBluGStudio you've gotta get out of your comfort zone and try new styles! Everyone at one point just added to the Happy Home of Robloxia and was satisfied with it. Noone just woke up one day and was ultimate at building! Try out things, get inspiration from pinterest or Twitter or Instagram or something! Trust me! It gets better!!

I thought mansions were cool so I would build them all the time. They were always way too big, no color on the walls, and way too many colors on the decor. I always used white lights. I wondered why no one wanted to rp in my super cool mansion 💀

My building mistakes were: Always ALWAYS would make blocky houses probably the size of the 30x30 plot and think it was a mansion because of how big it was lol and I would color it only solid colors because I didn't know how to get better graphics lol and after I got the basement and multiple floors game pass I would build a giant house that would be like 3 blocks over 1 block back and another 2 blocks back and mirror it on the other side and I would do the fence thing and I would make a garden and divide it with a fence and same thing with trying to make a backyard or just a pool.

Atleast your first house maked sense,i had a giant room just for the living room,and i only used like the 20% of it 😂, it was steaight a giant rectangle with windows and doors,there was also a room just for laundry in the middle of it,your house in there was prolly smallee than just that living room alone Lol,i did not even bother to decorate or do things LOL

1) I would always make cube house until I saw other people have better houses that were more than just a cube
2) I wouldn't put enough lighting in my house so they would be really dim
3) Whenever I wanted to build a new house I would bull-doze my current one cause i didnt know how to get blox bucks

i remember not knowing what advanced placing was and thought the small grid solved the problem. i was WRONG, the gamepass is so not what I thought it was, but now im really happy I have it as I get really annoyed when its off haha

Wow ur house is so much better than I used to build when I first started. When I first started I had a box house with a flat roof and the only things inside it was a bed, a tv, a table, a pool, and some floor lamps (bc I started Bloxburg in the early days)
I used to put ceiling first on my house and then I would make a second floor and I was like "Why can't I place anything on my second floor"
I didn’t realize things like doors had multiple areas you could change the color of, so most of my first houses had the default colors for things

When I was a noob I tried to build onto the starter house, and when I got the two stories game pass I didn't figure out how to use it for a while. I also tried to build on the starter house and I colored nothing. Everything was the same default grey. 😆 I also had a kitchen on *Every. Single. Floor.* of my house because I loved the cooking. My cousin recently joined bloxburg, but I helped her recolor the starter home so she didn't have a noob house.
Before even playing Bloxburg for the first time, i started watching videos of it in RUclips, then i found your channel, and other nice ones.
Then when i first played it, and i went to work in pizza delivery, and i did it for Days, until i got the money to buikd a nice house, wich was my Own modified version of the prebuilt "Classic Suburban"
i brought bloxburg in 2019 and the main building mistakes i remember is using colors that look bad together and making my houses too big and wacky lol

As a mobile player who started playing almost a year ago from this comment, I used to use use paths outside. I watched speed builds and always wondered how they got such good paths.
I also tried to add another floor because my dumbass self didn't know you needed to buy gamepasses so I was SUPER confused when my favorite Bloxburg RUclipsrs were able to all this stuff and not me. I just recently got advanced placement, multiple floors, and excellent employee as my first gamepasses. It's been almost a year and I STILL don't know how to build [outsides or layouts] (I could do pretty ded ent interiors)
i don’t wanna talk about what i did.... the memories are awful...
I honestly wasn't that bad at building when I was new, and thought Bloxburg was a rip-off of Sims 3 so I built how Sims 3 players would.
For me, I’d add on to my starter house, but like, really badly. For example, I remembering wanting a kid/baby play room sort of thing, so I made the absolute LARGEST extension ever 😅. It was like, a third of my entire plot (not a larger plot)
I remember when I started about 4 years ago
I used the paths, only because I didn’t know you could do manual floor placement. And when I did use floors instead of paths, I placed walls around where I wanted it to be, then automatic placed the floor 😭 when I finally got multiple floors, doing upstairs floors was a struggle until I FINALLY learned how to do ,annual floor placement. Those were long and confusing sentences

When I was a beginner to bloxburg I didn't know how to do manual placement so whenever I made paths with floor I built a wall like a long rectangle and I used automatic placement to put the floor and deleted the wall after
I started a few months ago and i didnt do that much mistakes cause i watched SO MUCH bloxburg videos to the point where my sister said "you dont even have bloxburg to watch tutorials"
Stuff i used to do
Use bright colors with weird paterns [elephant patern mainly]
Never coloring my roof
Using torch's as lights
using path's as floors
The only real problem I had was making these gigantic houses with like 8 by 10 rooms 😂 I knew how to use everything I was just really bad at the house sizing because when you're in build mode you get a "God like" view and so everything looked so small so I made everything gigantic and then I was like "um why is the furniture so tiny when the house is so big!?!? 😂😂😂
surprisingly I never size problems, although when I was a new bloxburg player I didn't know that you could use manual placement for floors (even on computer) and I didn't know there was a small grid.

On my first home, I just added walls to the starter house. I didnt know how anything worked so It was just plain walls with a few items. When I finally deleted it, I didn’t know how to make a bathroom. So none of my houses had a bathroom. The rooms were so BIG.
I remember I heard u could make oaths with floors, and so I use walls to outline where I would put the floor/path and then deleted the walls

another thing i would do is do the cleaner job for like 15 minutes and when i got like 1000 i would just do it again, yeah i really liked that job
the final thing i would do is go to or throw parties, the most useless thing in bloxburg, i remember in like 2019 or 2020 i made this like resturant and threw a party and like 1 person came and it went so bad lol
When I was a beginner at bloxburg building. At that time I was playing on mobile. And when I was building I would always use slanted or flat roof. Also I didn't knew that you can make texture so my house was like the same or the texture that it came with. I didn't knew that was a small grid or medium grid so it was always large grid

Ok so, first I want to say as soon as I got bloxburg I got every gamepass. Now what I regret is when I first started for 2 MONTHS I had no idea about the grids so when ever I tried to use advance placing I couldn't because I could not place anything near each other. So, I barly bothered to decrate epecially the bookshelfs because I was only able to place 1 THING IN EACH SHELF. I just feel so embarrassed about that lucky I watched YoUtUbE because, I finally had enough that when Iearned it... I FELT SO DUMB AND I DO STILL TO THIS DAY FOR TAKING THAT LONG TO UNDERSTAND. Thier are many other thing but, that is just when and why I regret it.
Hahaha adding to the starter home I can relate because I had no game passes for 6 months. I also deleted my roof before knowing I could remove it 😂😂 I did so much of this in this video.

Expanding the starter house, seeing box houses(large & small),
people using bright neon colors that will kill the player's eyes, I hope they get better at a building after seeing this video on youtube. When I started playing bloxburg I started doing this too. 0-o I know everybody has the same experience when they first joined bloxburg.
My first house was litterly just some training gear ( not floor,walls or roof ) just flat on the ground
So I first joined bloxburg, I had to figure out things myself, I did have a couple of clues of how to do that or that from bloxburg (it wasn't the builds. I used to watch RUclipsrs so that how I knew few things) so I first tried to build a house. so there was 1 girl who came to me and asked if she can help, I then said sure she told me to go to pizza and work while she was building. after then it took me like 5 minutes to figure it out, I realized that my money kept going up, I thought that I was lucky that I'm just getting money like that. so after I got bored of delivering, I teleported to my house also took me a while to figure that👌. I then saw my house that was all messed up that I liked, was deleted. sad, I tried to contact her or something but she already left when she finished deleting my house 😭😭 Impressive I still remember😪😩
I remember when I use paths for indoor flooring XD. Since I didn't knew there had a floor selection in the builds category.
I used to not understand doors.... i would leave a space open for a door and then it obviously wouldn't place down because you need a wall for a door but I didn't understand that, so then I just didn't have doors. I just had spaces that i used as a "door" and finally I looked it up on RUclips and figured out how to get to get doors.

lmao- as soon as i heard about a house building game on roblox i bought it bc i am a huge sims fan (mainly a fan of the building part) so i adapted to the building controls pretty quickly but i was still such a noob lol. i used to just build on the side of the starter house because i didnt have multiple floors
I didn’t wanna spend money on a floor upstairs so I added a fence so I was able to jump into the downstairs bedroom. Also LIFE HACK use ki in and white lights together (not industrial but like quill grey with big chandelier or linen) for a beautiful light.
im so glad im not the only one who didnt know about the toggle roof button. I would waste so much time making sure the roof was the right color when i wanted to move the toilet

Sir, I've been playing Bloxburg for more than 2 years... And I still continue to make that mistake.
I used to not know how to build flooring. I’d use the “Checkered Carpet” and place a buttload of them to make floor. I spent 20K in game dollars those days. I also placed stairs but didn’t know how to get a second floor (didn’t have the game pass) so there was a case of random stairs in my first house.
Also, someone wanted to build my house on my first day. I was calling my friend and we thought it was a good idea! They turned my house into a wall with a few pictures of the poop emoji. I cried that day.

Now I am more experienced in building, I can make houses look better, my first house had many different colours and random rooms, like a small room with sofa/couch and tv. Also made laundry room on the top floor with another room with a tv in. Was pure chaos 🤣

Omggg I have done these things beforeee 😭😂 when I first started playing bloxburg on build mode I didn’t know you had to use the WASD keys to turn in build more so I could never color the walls on certain parts and always had empty areas too 😂

I remember when first playing my houses were all white and I had this super small house I made and the only bathroom was going through my bedroom. And the shape of the house was super weird too and I remember a guy came in saying that I have spaces in between my counters (before I knew what grid was) and I was so confused
I always painted all my walls white like the lightest it could go and I only used 1 shade 😭😭 I made square gross towers like tall 3 story stars with no windows...💀💀 and I had a house and I made 2 building at the back I didn’t color them and I put a pool like you did and a gaming room (it was like a 10km hike to get there 🔪🔪
My mistake is that I wouldn’t color anything except for the beds... and they were like the ugliest texture. 🤩 The good old days..

Oh this was such a pain for me because I joined bloxburg at the end of 2018
When I was new... I deleted the starter home thinking I would be rich this was false most definitely anyway, after that I had a bike, bookshelf, tent, pizza box, bench, table, etc and I did not know how to place a wall 😬 I also thought there was only two grid sizes because I was too lazy to change it again, as well I also just looked at the first home I made and thought it was bad because I did not know that box homes were just.. well 😶 anyway my house layout.. well PART was normal but the other part.. you had to walk through a bedroom to get to half of the rooms and it had two kitchens and a ‘purple only bedroom’ and it was WAYYYY too big err the art room was only 60 % full and my stair just led you to a wall so you had to jump back in order to get to the second floor, I had to look up how to place a wall, do second floors, aND learn how to change my graphics as well oh and let’s just say that most of my walls were teal, pink, purple, a light blue, just all pastels.. and also I thought not coloring walls was ‘modern’
I would always build a bathroom into the bedroom- but I’ve been playing for a little over 4 years now! And boy I’ve gotten way better
The biggest mistake I ever made was never using manual placement because I thought you could only get it on PCs until this video I saw the manual button, god you really saved my life 😭🥺😱😆
When I was a noob and discovered the small grid I accidentally made my friend feel really bad saying like “oh it’s just like advanced placement but free” oh if only I knew
I did all the building mistakes, I mostly put a room for the stairs then there were stairs in it and a door at the top of the stairs leading to the main room upstairs 😅

i relate to so much of this video. the first mistake i made was deleted my starter home. so then when my brother had to make a new account and my bestfriend started playing after 3 years i told them DONT DELETED IT. it’s going to save your life just work ik it takes forever but you have to try.

Edit: I remember looking up on RUclips for cribs/cots because we didn’t have them back then and I didn’t have advanced placing so I followed the RUclipsrs and she said “then turn small grid on” and I did it and then stated saying “I GOT ADVANCED PLACING FOR FREE”

I would always make my walls bright pink or rainbow and zebra print. My houses were blocky and way too big. I had windows INSIDE my home and those dancy party light up floors😭
one of my mistakes: I didn't know how to rotate my camera to everything was on the one wall and on one side it was blank
one thing i did for a driveway was place walls to put a floor down bec i only knew abt automatic placing at the time. lol
My story is basically my sister got bloxburg so I got it too and she already knew how to build and I had no idea so I just got the multiple floors gamepass cuz my sis had it too then I had NO IDEA how to build a second story so I just got my sister to build for me 😅 then I discovered how to actually do it not long ago now I’m pretty happy with my builds finallyyy

No, Please. Now I have to admit I build pretty well, but I can relate to this so much. I used to ask my friend to build for me (and she IS a great builder) and at that time I didn't have two floors, so she made me a REALLY really cute pastel 1-floor house with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. But even though the bedroom was Very cute, I thought it was disgusting so I deleted the whole thing and added a wall where it was. And I added a big box as the shape of the room. and I FILLED it tip to toe with toys. IT WAS TERRIBLE and most importantly, I NEVER colored anything but when I did.. I ALWAYS used the triangles. And I CAN relate to the fence thing I always ended up so broke after I added a fence around the -WHOLE ENTIRE PLOT-. Please reply to my comment I am your biggest fan!!❤❤❤💛💛💛💙💙💙
