Another great battle report! This has become my favorite channel for shatter point content due to the editing, the commentary, and the effects. Keep it up!
Always enjoy your battle reports and the fact that you pare it down to a watchable length of time. Give the magnaguard a chance. They are VERY good in melee for a support unit and they are quite tanky. Make sure to use Dooku’s extra movement and to trigger their power to move toward a primary that has just completed a move so they can get up the board to where they want to be. But for my money, they may be the best support unit in the game.
Thank you for the comment. And you are right. I will definitely give them more of a shot. I know I did not pay them to their fullest, and there is plenty more if they can go with that would be more of a fit.
Thank you very much, we really appreciate you watching the video. We have been enjoying filming them and looking forward to all the new figures we haven’t gotten to play yet.
Great batrep! As always the edits make this, often lengthy game, very consumable! I like the edits to show the ability you're currently performing, but would be great if you could also show the actual text rules as well. Anyhow, thanks for the upload!!
Thank you for the comment. We are always looking to how we can enhance the video itself. We will look into seeing, but I’ll take to get the text for the actions on the screen. Overall, we will just do a better job of explaining it may be reading verbatim what is on the card.
Thanks for yet another fun game report. Keep 'em coming! Man, I feel your pain on one particular thing: Keeping track of all the stuff - as some people call them, the synergies. It doesn't help that in our 12 or so games we've played, I've swapped out characters and teams pretty regularly, keeping me from really learning how some things work together. Still, it's just about my only rules complaint (I have issues with the number of tokens and dice that come in the set, and the horrifyingly awful organization of the rule book itself, but those are not rules issues) that I have, and it's not even really a criticism of AMG. It's more of me just lamenting my brain's ability to keep track of things after a few shots of Jack and a little beer. ;) The number of times I've forgotten to use an abilty is, frankly, sad. The hardest part is remembering that some characters have abilities that trigger when the character you are actively using goes, so you're not really focused on the five other cards. But again, that's a me thing. I guess what I'm saying is what I said at the top. I feel your pain. Also, as some others have said, stick with the Magnaguard. Their ability to prevent attacks on your other characters is awesome. I combined them with Obi Out of Hiding a few games back, and my opponent was super filled with 'doh!' as she could not attack things. It's sort of like Loki in MCP. Don't give up on them yet. Finally, I think there may have been a small rules goof very early on. Either that or I misinterpreted what you did. When you triggered Dooku's Tactic to dash him and Jango, you then used Protection Protocols on the Magnaguard to adance toward Dooku. This would not happen. The Magnaguard ability goes off when a Sep Primary makes a move *action*, which the dash from Dooku's tactic is not. Just a small thing, and not sure how much it mattered, but I thought I'd mention it. Thanks again!
You make a very good point, this is not really a criticism of atomic mass games. I have played games that were way more complex and required way more of a orchestration to get the maximization of your force. It’s just there’s a lot going on and especially after playing MCP I feel in obligation to want to do better than usual. I know this will come in time and probably year from now we will be laughing at the fact that we were having troubles with the synergies. I really am enjoying the game and I think this may just be one of those where I need to pick one kind of unit and stick with it. Even with new releases you can do that , in this case may be just sticking with the clones and Jedi. Who knows I’m sure will figure it all out. Thank you again so much for your comments. We always appreciate them.
Nice battle report, I’m still getting the hang of the game myself. I’ve play anakin/obi with all the clones. It’s a lot to keep track of but there a lot of senergy for galactic republic.
Really nice batrep as always. Noticed a few rules misses though. Protection Protocols does not active when Dooku did the Dash from his Tactic ability. Only after a Move Action performed by a n allied Primary. You can't use ingress points after pushing. Only after a Advance/Climb/Dash/Jump.
Ah that was a mistake on my part with Dooku, thank you for the heads up. I know there was a time we did a push then a move action afterwards, but that may not have been clear or we may have just messed it up 😁. Thank you for those comments!!
@@ozarkgladiators5819 @4:27 yea i see it would just be a climb but you put Force Jump on the screen so i just assumed you force jump, but on a separate note, it didnt matter much in this instance since you could of triggered it after the "climb action" but Magnaguards Protection protocols would not trigger on Dooku's Leader of the Separatist Army ability, the protocols only trigger on move actions, so only when you take the action of movement not things force jump/jetpack etc...
Gg! Beautiful terrain and loved the family art at the end!
Thank you for the comment and for watching the battle report!

Thank you very much, we’re gonna be a little behind until the end of the month. But then we’re hoping to catch up with weekly videos again.
Love the video! If you ever consider sponsors let me know!

Thank you for the comment and sharing our pain with Clone synergies 😁
Great battle report! I hear Cody is really good if you bring Rex, but isn't great by himself.
I think he’s just bad when I play him, I am usually terrified when I have to go against him. 😁

dooku doesnt have force jump
Thank you for the comment- at one point I think what you saw was when I performed a climb action with Dooku, but I did not force jump.

Lol thank you, I’ll take with my editor. 😁 I did mess up Dooku’s ability - definitely need more practice with him.
