My dad met Glidden back in the 70s unrelated to racing but became friends through racing and it was always cool to go to Seattle and meet up with Bob for my dad. He was always happy to see my dad and we'd stand to the side and just watch the family work super intense guy but always nice.

glidden is the man :) always enjoy seeing his races. nitro classes of the early 70s are also a joy to watch. not so much parts shredding.
