@@anotherzane I will likely end up doing that. I had no idea there was an OVA for Steins; Gate. Is it on Crunchyroll or found on another streaming service?
Funny that you mention a slice of life version of Steins;Gate, cause there's a spin-off visual novel called Steins;Gate: My Darling's Embrace which is essentially that with romance xD
this ova made me a little confused, if someone can clear it out for me that would be wonderful but like, in steins gate 0, mayuri wants to go back to change the past to reach the stein's gate so okabe would be happy having kurisu back, but in here it seems that kurisu is kind of gone so what was it all for? also before amadeus was erased, okabe said that soon, they will see again and that he will reach the stein's gate, but it seems like in this ova, they dont meet at all and okabe dosent even have a valentines
What are your thoughts on romcom anime? Have you seen a lot of them? I like it because its like slice of life anime, but add romance hijinks into it. Its just really cute and sweet, almost like a different flavor of slice of life. Romance dramas are hit-or-miss tho. Its easier to mess up a serious story than it is to mess up a comedy imo. Hot take: The most interesting romance dramas to watch are the kind with cheating involved, NTR, blackmail, anything spicy. These are the kinds of shows where you dont wish for a happy ending so its hard to mess up.
The only one that I've seen/currently watching is Kaguya -sama, so I can't give you a definitive answer on whether or not I like the genre. I have seen anime where they have incorporated "slice is life" and I did enjoy that aspect. I'd imagine that cheating, blackmail, etc. involved would bring more entertainment to the story as reality TV shows and other mainstreams series tend to incorporate something along those lines. All in all, I would need to watch more Romcom anime. If you have any suggestions that are as good as Kaguya - sama Love is war, let me know!
@@LykesonRose Sakurasou (personal favorite of mine. It gets quite dramatic but not due to the romance. Its main theme is talent vs hard work, and how the characters deal with having/not having talent in creative fields such as game development, art, voice acting, writing) Oregairu (really popular, 3 seasons)

I like the premise, I'll have to check it out. Currently I'm looking to start only one series, now that I've pretty much wrapped up Steins; Gate. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@laguitoru2 I've heard about Toradora, but never have watched it. I think it's been out for quite some time and it's considered a classic, if I'm not mistaken.
Next up: Steins; Gate: Load Region of Deja Vu
Eyyy, would recommend ep 25 of steins gate before the movie since it references it

@@LykesonRose it's available on funimation, but not crunchyroll for some reason

Have you watched ep 25 (OVA) of Steins Gate?
I have not, it was recently brought to my attention that there was an OVA for Steins; Gate. I will likely end up watching that first before the movie.
