He left out the fact that he had to cut the factory zip tie and disconnect the light. Why? Nissan makes something so simple and turns it into something complicated. This is my first and the LAST Nissan I will ever buy. Breaks and tires is another big issue with Nissans. I thought I had a lemon but it turns out other nissan owners I talked to had the same problems and more.
I didn't have to cut that zip tie. I popped the holder out of its detent, and popped it back in afterwards. You do have to disconnect the electrical connector for the glove compartment light as well. Squeeze the white part.
It's not $70 here is more like $250 in the Nissan dealers in NYC. I wish it was only $70 really I will pay that gladly. I have a 2019 Pathfinder and I already installed in a 2016 Rouge it was a challenge but I got it done. Both vehicles have the same location of air filter. I will do mine because I don't want to pay $250 here to get that done.

noit need at all to remove the glove box...or the floor panel. It's a bit of a bugger, but you can squeeze the filter in & out.

I change cabin air filters for a living and Nissans are the biggest pain in the ass.

My truck filter is literally a pull tab in the glove box. My wife drives an 18 Pathfinder and I'm tempted to pay someone after watching this.
