I agree I don't watch any of the News on t.v. anymore. I like a few people at Fox but I don't watch television anymore. The thousands of commercials, the outright lying over January 6th etc. It is despicable. Why don't journalists just report things the way they are period. Tell us the good and bad. We don't even get world news at all anymore.
Fox got rid of many of my favs. Tucker was the last straw. You can’t watch cable news anymore.

Fox News has gone down the hole ever since they fired Tucker Carlson, that makes me happy because it has always been controlled opposition . Jessy Laura and Sean are ok but they too are controlled.
Between then hiring Paul Ryan, moving from their base, then firing Tucker I left and went to NEWSMAX and never looked back.

I'm 50 and I miss the heydays of the malls and walk-in retail shopping. The so called convenience of drop shipped merchandise does not begin to make up for the overall lack of quality, and it certainly doesn't beat the experience of trying on items, or the ability to feel the weight, texture, or quality of the merchandise. And lastly, it completely removes the bonus of getting in the healthy long walks inside the malls and parking structures.
But more than the big malls, I might actually miss "Marshalls" more, as it was in the 80s and 90s when a really good score at Marshalls was one of consumer life's greatest feel-good moments. I liked your anecdote about "Clearance" tags and that little bit of savvy trickery on your fathers part to save paper:) Solid Gold Moment.
