Stephanie when the girls paint at the table, instead of newspaper, you could use like those puppy pads or the pads like they use in the hospital (the blue ones) and put the plastic side down. That way nothing will soak through to your table like it would with paper. Also when they wash out their brushes the water won't soak through.
