What a performance. The entirety of Live Aid was such an amazing undertaking. Does anyone else remember all of the Back to the Future commercials during Live Aid?
U2 rules
I was 12 when this happened, we live in Phila, and it was an awesome experience to see and hear!
I was home in the UK on this iconic day.
I've been waiting for almost 40 years.
I had the BEST time 🎉🎉🎉 what a picnic as Freddie rightly said 🤩🤩🤩 it was our way of feeling we could help our poor brothers and sisters starving on the other side of the world
Farce...🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
@@stevabobic I was 12 mate
I was there with nothing BUT good intentions
What do you know about it???
@@Abcdefg-lz5sq I sincerely pity all of you who call this event a spectacle. I did not notice that Africa became happy and full. All traces of this event should be erased.
Big, BIG FARCE...🤮🤮🤮🤮👎👎👎👎
Next year will be the 40th anniversary of the best concert of all time. I hope someone does something special via social networks. Cheers from this side of the pond
When the UK ruled the pop charts and the world cared and we still had the beutiful Princess Diana.
I never get tired of watching videos about this greatest moment in music history!!!! They really made a difference opening our brains and hearts thanks for sharing!🥰🥰🥰
Me too, especially when Queen was on stage.
@@MiceSlave that was UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I worked at Philadelphia for 3 weeks and have lots of memories... looking forward to 40th anniversary !
1985. The pinnacle of Rock n Roll..
SADE set the whole mood during her set. A great performance that nobody talks about.
agree! class, style, cool. mode of the society to give more attention to the shouting, crazy boys, but there is something timeless and gorgeous in Sade.
GOD I MISS THOSE YEARS ❤
Queen stole the show by far!!
Jon they stole it,and hid it away!!
U2
A lot of talent from these concerts are now in the rock and roll band in heaven ❤
What an event. I doubt we will ever see another one like it. Simply brilliant line up of our beloved pop stars of the time.
Thanks for giving us the pleasure tu remember this Live Aid!
July 13th,1985 Live Aid ❤ Memories Queen stole the show!❤

Queen was the BEST Performer at this live performance. Miss you, Freddie!
Legendarni, legendarni koncert, obožavam ga, gledao direktan prenos i poslije puno puta naravno
Thanks for posting. Remember like it was yesterday. In fact when it was shown again in 1995 it seems like decades ago. Nice, like yesterday. To think Neil Young was only 39 !!!! I'm now 53. Jesus wept !
Excelente!
U2 were simply amazing here
Obrigada Live Aid,a ver em Setúbal -Portugal❤
I'm smiling here. People were different back then. I'm very happy with that thought.
Can't wait to see the Phil Collins and Sting duo👌
Actually watched that Madonna performance all the way through about 5/6 months ago in the name of musical science, since it was live and early on in her career. Being a Zeppelin man and all that not really into pop but growing up with her being part of the furniture, although a lot of these songs bring back good memories of when I was 10. I thought she did great, was pretty impressed you can tell she's got talent, like a performer.
Well done Bob and Midge.
Phenomenal compilation. Totally enjoyed that. It brought me right back to the day watching it on TV. It felt like a fleeting moment at the time, and I remember trying to savor every bit of it, knowing it was most definitely a once-in-a-lifetime happening. The world should come together this way more often. We really need it now -- more than ever.
Absolutely fantastic got a few tears in my eyes a 55 Yr old Yorkshire man good old days
In the words of Bob, "the dying continues so the giving can't stop". An iconic day!
A few days later it stopped....
I remember putting the tv on.. on Saturday afternoon. and watching the hole concert, we only had BBC ITV and RTE QUEEN STOLE.. show it was brilliant. 15 years old good times ✖️
Soul is nothing without Sade, this was the decade of top pop and rock! 🙏
you could judge this entire day of music from a million different angles and the same answer will always be that it was queen's night no matter who tries to judge differently
Amazing, the likes of it will never happen again, the amount & quality of acts at their peak simply don't exist anymore
Oh Freddie, we so miss you!
