Funny how you pause it to talk about the video at the picture of Haerin eating a cat treat and not mention anything about Haerin being a cat, which is one of the funniest moment of the mv. 😆🤣🤣🤣

I never heard of that test until JK was talking about it during a Vlive from his kitchen. I guess he took it a couple of times and got the same results. A moment ago you said, Oh they're so cute. I don't remember where I saw it but JK asked RM if he thought that New Jeans were pretty. RM said that after all the years with BTS he doesn't know if he even wants to get married in the future. When speaking about the qualities the members were looking for in a girlfriend once, JK said he'd like to find someone who never heard of BTS, someone who likes to sing and exercise so they can do it together, and someone who dresses modestly. They all attended the Talk Music Awards in October and to walk the red carpet and perform, New Jeans dressed as usual. Casual tops and jeans. Other than "not ever hearing of BTS", he may have found someone he's at least interested in. They deserve a better personal life than they have had over the years, although someone I spoke to once said that they do get out more than we are aware of. That would be so great because these girls are young and look wholesome. I guess after all the award shows all the girls in their little costumes begin to look the same.

Anyone talking about it online is mostly hyped up about screaming as loud as they can. You'd have to find a friend to go with because they won't be alone. Purple is one of your favorite colors, and being a reviewer would pull them in. You can also pick up more subs. Think of the theater as a huge buffet. Just make sure they drive up, not dropped off by their mom. The concert is February 1 - 4.

Good reaction. IMO OMG is a huge meta statement about the parasocial potentially toxic relationship between Kpop Idols and their fans, but from the Kpop Idol perspective. Ditto is about the same parasocial relationship, but from the fan perspective. You can see that the 2 mv's are related from the Ditto video clips shown on the OMG video (Ditto came out first and you were meant to see Ditto before OMG). OMG is foretelling that NewJeans members will end up being treated after having mental breakdowns from being Kpop Idols. Hanni (as Siri/Steve Jobs with round glasses, black t-shirt and jeans and sneakers) is crying for help, saying that she has lost her sense of self, that she only exists for her fans and to fulfil the needs of those fans (like Kpop idols are want to do, not just iPhones). Harein thinks she is a cat, becoming what her fandom thinks about her in real life (that she is the living embodiment of a cat). Harein is seen nibling on cat food. Heyein is the member with the most entertainment industry experience, having been a busy child actress and here she is lost in the fairytale of one of her early roles (being lost in how her fans think of her). Minji is the Unnie (the actual oldest member who has a clear role to play in any Kpop Idol group), trying to take care of her members and bringing them to be treated (fulfilling the Unnie role that her fans expect from her). Note that at one point in the video, she stands over HERSELF, and brings herself into the ambulance, and obviously needs treatment too as she has also lost her sense of self and is lost in her fan created role. Only Danielle can remember that they are members of NewJeans, but she is institutionalized too, suffering mental issues, being delusional thinking that they are shooting a music video. So, she can't escape her NewJeans past, even in a mental institution. It is a tragic tale of the Kpop Idol with a rather sad ending. In contrast Ditto speaks about the good and bad aspects of being immersed in a Kpop group fandom. The good is that it can help you cope with a bad situation currently being experienced. The girl behind the camera (representing fans) had a cast, possibly from a car accident where she may have lost her parents (never shown), but nevertheless trying to cope with a traumatic experience. She was comforted by imagining her favorite Kpop group members surrounding her with loving companionship. But eventually she had to face reality in order to move on (broke her camera, moved from her imaginary relationship with her Kpop Idols to a real relationship with the Boy). Years later she put in the VHS, and all the happy memories (about how her Kpop group gave her a sense of loving support to help her cope with a traumatic situation) came rushing back. The downside is that if you stay in that imaginary world, your real world will be in ruins as you lose sight of your own necessary personal growth and the needed transition to adulthood with all the associated responsibilities that come with that. Ditto actually has a happy ending for the Kpop fan. NewJeans helped her cope with a bad situation and she eventually moved on with her life.

OK Mr. Pingüin 🐧 ---Super quick, not much investment of your time (unless you decide to film your reaction): a minor super-dooper "research" by simply watching the previous title to this video consisting of actually 2 vids: both sides (A & B) of "Ditto" to actually gain the needed insight you did not know you needed, given they're directly related with this newer video. THEN come back to this video 🙂to get your "A-ha!!!" moment. [Optional and not strictly needed but supper-dooper as well] > For an even deeper insight and as a 'longer alternative', watching all their vids chronologically (consisting only of 4 or 5 titles, making sure of selecting the right versions, not "performance") would result in the full 'Ah--haaaaaaa', given all of them, though indirectly, still related to this.
Oh, and don't repeat the mistake of stopping the playback before it reaches until the end as you did here, you'll understand why (you still need to do that with this video too). A-ha 🙃🙃
