Why not use the 1100 as a base and keep the 750 separate? The 750 is still in production. Your video frames the 1000 as the 750 replacement.
You could argue the 1100 morphed into the Hayabusa. As the 1100 engine structure gained watercooling and 200cc, but retained it's stout bottom end that made it such a favorite drag racing engine for 30 years. The 750 to 1000 progression makes more sense.
@@moorepower13 i can't get behind that. The 600/750/1100 were always based off roughly the same platform so the 1100 was replaced by the 1000 to continue the superbike style trend. The hayabusa was a completely different animal and was never meant to compete in the same circles as the 1100, infact both models were sold at the same time. The 1100 production stopped for a few years afterwards due to falling sales and so suzuki could develop its replacement, the 2001 gsxr 1000.
Exactly!...I purchased an 1100 when they came out in 86. That's the evolution of the 1000. I now own a hayabusa. The 1100 didn't morph into that.
@@muhammadsteinberg I wish I could show you guys some pictures of the engine cases of different generation gsxr. The 90's to early 2000 1000 was really similar to the 600/750 design of the time. But the last 90's 1100 to 1300 is very apparent if you look at the bottom of the motor. It is ancient in design and I not saying that in a bad way. The newest 1000 is absolutely tiny in its packaging, compared to the newest 1340.

From 07 they got 185hp. He wrote 182 maybe that's true in some parts of the World... anyway my 07 got 185 stock

Wrong, 750 is still a 750. Gsxr1100 went away and morphed into Gsxr1000.
I owned a Gsxr1100 in 86 when they came out. That bike and the 1000 have much more in common than the 750.
The Gsxr1100 DID NOT morph into the hayabusa (which I now own).
