I have 9 pieces of cooking equipment currently getting rid of one but adding 3 pieces of outdoor equipment this year. next year primo XXL cooker and maybe more.

It seems like the perfect grill. It can do it all and it looks like it can do it well.
I didn't know what to expect when the Black Earth grill showed up, but I was really impressed as soon as I got the plastic off. I've never seen an exterior like that before, and it gets all of the comments when people visit. That it can do all of the things it can do will undoubtedly be a great match for the person who just wants a one stop shop on their patio. I'm just surprised that I didn't know about them before now. I'm usually better at that, but I'm excited to learn more about what they have going on up north.

That's awesome Seth! Melissa's favorite uses outside of meats are mashed potatoes and scrambled eggs. Those weren't things we planned on, but man, it's good.

For that price I’d rather get the NInja Flexflame they’re comparable except Ninja uses pellets for smoking but good review as another option.

Good question. Although you wouldn't get as much smoke flavor with pellets as you would with charcoal and or wood splits or chunks.
@tomm9493 For sure but with the grates seeming kinda low and i kinda feel like those might introduce a little more heat than you'd want for something like smoked cheeses

Really beautiful. Love it, but too much of an "ouch" in the pocket book.
If it can do it all. It needs to do it all at a high level. The question is it a great grill, great smoker, great griddle not can it do it. I do not feel these questions were answered. 🤷🏻♂️

It sounds just as flimsy as every other grill on the market. 3k is way over priced for that. Have to cut your wood so small.
