  • Not just a marble battle, but the entire war.
Armies travel randomly across the map, engaging in combat if they meet. Once conquered, towns will produce more fighters for the player. Whenever the army goes to the home city or a friendly town, it will reinforce itself with fighters.
Fighters gain experience by scoring kills. If a fighter gains enough experience it will level up, gaining perks like additional hit points, speed and/or equipment.
Destroy all the enemy kings and armies to win!

Captain Ror's band felt like the Fellowship of the Ring. Just a small group of assorted elite troops! Ror's excellent leadership preserved the most elite of his army, protecting them for many battles, and eventually forming the most remarkable war party on the map. I was stunned when King Deardorff slew Assemani the Kingslayer in a single blow, through the helmet no less. And as one by one, Ror's band was slain, I thought for sure they were through and finished, just to once again be stunned when Cavallaro managed the upset.
He then became the sole strongest marble I think I've ever seen, charging into battle solo, against an army of 100, including mid level units, a kingslayer, a mage, and _still_ managing to live to fight another day, after cleaving that army in half.
The only way they managed to get the upper hand against him was to smother him, restricting his ability to move his weapons, and then to slash at him with leveled units while he was pinned down.
Cavallaro, champion of Captain Ror's Fellowship, was the number one standout hero in this edition of Marble Kingdoms.

They studied the ways of the Strengths of Agobard and the misfortune of Captian Penthesilea from an old lost tomb, with this knowledge, the 7 knew that the corrupt powers were at fault for using magic to their advantage, cheating bastards! They all knew their goal at that point
May their friendship through the silent mutual knowledge be remembered throughout the ages.

An idea to change up how Squads and Captains work:
    - Give each capital a second circle that spawns a Captain for every 10 normal troop spawns.
    - Each kingdom starts with 1 King and 2 captains, so one can stay behind the guard the king.
    - Marbles that are captains or at least level 3 heroes (Sergeants) become "Leaders". Anytime a squad or town ends up with more Leaders than there are currently active squads, a new squad forms.
    - Anytime a squad is defeated, it returns to the capital and merges with it. This may recreate the squad if there are too many leaders in the capital as normal.
    - The symbol of the squad is based on its main leader. Captains have battle standards, while other heroes may use other symbols.
    - Every squad needs a Leader, so towns don't form new squads unless attacked enough to form level 3 heroes. If a neutral town does this, this may form a warband instead.
This gives an organic way to get new captains/royal guards, and to add/remove squads on the map as heroes/captains rise and fall. It allows there to be more than 1 leader per squad if other squads exist, and it could even be a way for neutral towns to be highly defensive like Anya's iron guard without building up forever.

      @@lostmarbles2d IDEAS:
good ones: what if the mage had multiple spells they can cast like:
lava: leaves a lava pool that burns enemies that touch it
      fire: already there
water: leaves a pool of water that slows enemies
ice: freezes enemies hit for a limited time
      heal: heals allies
possibly a poison spell or a unit that inflicts poison. (damage overtime)
      units:
necromancers: summons the undead to fight for them.
maybe you could have level ups happen easier but they are less effective.
with that what if the units weapons/armor changed to better material when they level up or maybe the the better weapons/armor could be picked up when the unit dies the materials could be:
wood -> stone -> bronze -> silver -> gold -> ruby -> diamond -> something else that is better.
the neutral army that gives upgrades could get better over time.
boss type marbles that are very strong most likely only neutral though

From the Suburbs of my mind:
The lore of the Canavaro and Caravallo
The brothers Cavallaro and Canavaro were born in the orange empire, since they were children they were raised to become great knights, however, brother Canavaro wanted to fight for the blue empire.
His parents were enraged, and so they left him in the forest, but convinced that the blue empire was as incredible as he thought, he began to seek to become a soldier.
Cavalallo, his brother, has supported him in his quest ever since, sometimes leaving to give food and weapons so that his brother could survive until he was skilled enough to join the blue army.
After a lot of training, he finally managed to enter the blue empire, it was everything he ever wanted, so the brothers were very happy, but this happiness would not last long.
The orange and blue empires were in a big war, and Canavaro was instructed to destroy the orange empire, but he refused, he was afraid that at any moment he would have to face his brother.
The blue empire didn't like this at all, so, while Canavaro was returning from his mission, the blue empire set up an ambush for him, together with his cyan ally, and ordered his immense army to eliminate him.
Cavalallo then discovers his brother's death and the entire plan behind it, and then dedicates his life to annihilating the blue army, his combat friends supported him, but tragically, in a confrontation With the Pink King, all his allies, including his best friend, Sachse, died after a fighting battle, and so, without a brother, without friends, without direction, Cavalallo only had hatred.
Enraged, he destroyed armies after armies of the blues, without mercy, until tragically, in an inevitable confrontation, Cavalallo ended up dying at the hands of the blues, who with their armies, dominated The World.

Red fans (me) suffering from each new video, but my second pick orange was a good one for sure. The supposed-to-be-easy killing of Deardorff turning into a slaughter of the elite that had been together since orange's main army got nearly wiped by Sede the mage at yellow's castle, followed by Cavallaro grief-slaying like 60 blue units in their strongest armies before finally going down was definitely one of the best endings to a marble kingdoms video, especially because the elites triggered the ragnarok that could've maybe turned the tide had Deardorff not slain the elites.

The fact Cavallaro took of 48 people while being pinned by 98 shows how powerful a level six is. And the fact a level 4 king one shot a level 6 and would’ve one shot Cavollaro as well is insane

First of all, love to see how this has evovled over time. It's cool to see your art progressing. I personally liked the earlier marble kingdoms better though, but in the spirit of hyping the good in change as well here are my suggestions to mix the best of both worlds:
First, I would like to see the return of 1 hit marbles. I think the multihit marbles creates a bias toward large armies and it limits the cool comebacks and longer fights of the early days.
Second, I'd like to see few factions per match. While watching the map gore is entertaining I think it detracts from the emergent storyline when there are simply too many different armies taking up smaller amounts of fighting time.
Third, I'd like to see more mellow skills like wizards and commanders. Again while it's entertaining to watch a fireball kill twenty odd marbles it detracts from the emergent story line when we can't as easily see individule fighters progress and make cool plays.
Final suggestion, either nerf the +100 farmers/+50 archers or make the chances of rolling to lose marbles way higher and take more marbles. It really just bloats an army when you toss in that many units, and it makes it easier for that one army to beat more bandits to get more bonuses and snowballing real fast.

A Complete Timeline of the Thirteenth Great War
    Part 1
0:03 The Green Kingdom draws first blood when Captain Emmerich’s company captures the Eastern Outpost. Many Green soldiers are slain by Athelinda, who herself dies in the skirmish.
0:17 The Cyan Kingdom sends Captain Ratilo’s company to capture the Western Fort from a small band of knights. Ratilo captures the fort with sheer numbers.
0:36 Weakened from the recent battle, Ratilo’s company is ambushed on the road by Captain Ror’s company, fresh from the Orange Kingdom. None of Ratilo’s company survives.
0:54 The Purple Kingdom and the Yellow Kingdom clash head-on, with Captain Kyla’s company fighting for Purple domination and Captain Bixintxo’s company maintaining Yellow interests. Two Yellow soldiers, Rina and Rezessy, distinguish themselves in the battle. The two captains fight each other personally in the battle, but Kyla is actually slain by Fina. Bixintxo, Rina, and Rezessy are the only survivors.
1:51 The Eastern Outpost is taken by the Blue Kingdom when the Green soldiers stationed there realize how outnumbered they are. The Western Fort is taken by the Magenta Kingdom in a similar fashion. The Eastern Outpost is nicknamed “Emmerich’s Folly,” recognizing his failure to properly secure the outpost against hostile powers.
1:55 A chaotic fight breaks out when Captain Balrus’s company, fresh from the Red Kingdom and itching for battle, encounters Captain Salbatore’s company after having just stationed a quarter of their soldiers at the Western Fort. Salbatore and one other Magenta soldier manage to escape the slaughter. One Red soldier, Mares, is rewarded for his bravery.
2:13 Captain Joscelin of the Blue Kingdom leads her company against patrolling bandits. Their losses are minimal and they are able to wipe the ruffians out. A hundred local farmers are inspired to join her cause.
2:50 Captain Emmerich’s company flanks and attacks Captain Ror’s company on the road. He realizes too late Ror’s advantages in numbers and equipment, and he and his soldiers are utterly destroyed. Captain Ror is commended for his strategy, and Orange soldiers Poth, Assemani, and Cavallaro are recognized for their combat prowess, the latter having slain Captain Emmerich.
3:24 En route to the northern provinces, Captain Balrus locates the Northern Tribe and attacks the berserkers encamped there. Red soldiers Warthang and Nano are commended for their performance, and Red soldier Nano is recognized for slaying the berserker champion Xenophile. Balrus and his soldiers subjugate the Northern Tribe.
3:39 Bixintxo’s company is caught attempting to sneak past Ror, and a fight breaks out. Orange soldiers Actaee and Audoin are recognized for slaying Captain Bixintxo and Fina respectively. Rezessy kills Poth, but is forced to flee as the sole Yellow survivor.
3:58 Joscelin employs the farmers that have joined her soldiers in a direct, overwhelming assault on Castle Red, commanded by Red King Alsandre. A long battle ensues that leaves many Blue corpses to rot on the mud and stone. A Red knight named Vuillard slays many Blue farmers, but one named Honoria trips and stabs his pitchfork directly through Vuillard’s heart. Captain Joscelin dies in single combat with Alsandre, who is then mobbed by the remaining blue forces and killed by a Blue soldier named Ailleth. The Blue Kingdom captures Castle Red without leaving any Red survivors.
4:51 The mob of Blue farmers, still on a bloody tear, raids the Red-controlled Northern Tribe, with their own soldiers having to keep them in check. What few Red soldiers are left guarding the village are slain. One is mercy-killed by Blue soldier Hyrtacus as the farmers tear him apart.
5:04 A Cyan platoon assaults the Western Fort, guarded mostly by Magenta levies with several recently-trained knights. Cyan soldier Jumel is promoted for her slaying of a knight, and her platoon takes the fort.
5:24 Jumel’s victory is short-lived, and her remaining troops are ambushed on the road by Captain Ror. Orange soldiers Aroc and Beninga fight honorably, and Jumel flees the battlefield in disgrace, leaving her fallen soldiers to the crows.
5:44 Captain Balrus, now kingless and wandering, is ambushed by a group of bandits. Mares is slain, but is soon after avenged by Warthang, and Nano strikes down the bandits’ chief. Balrus and his champions rally a hundred farmers against the Blue Kingdom’s tyranny.
6:20 Allieth leads the mob against a bandit clan hiding near the mountains. Blue soldier Nathstan leads the mob effectively, and a farmer named Roucaud skewers the bandit chief with his pitchfork. A patrol of twenty rangers offers to join the Blue forces, and to aid and train the peasant mob.
6:45 Captain Ror attacks a bandit caravan near the Purple Kingdom’s borders. Aroc is slain by the bandit’s chief, a large axeman with giant’s blood, who is then felled by Actaee. Amongst the caravan wreckage, Cavallaro finds fresh medical supplies to improve the troops’ health.
7:23 Allieth the Kingslayer is pressured by the mob into adding another crown to his killcount, and their assault on Castle Yellow and King Joanwerd begins. Much of the mob is cut down by the better-trained Yellow guards. Roucaud is almost trampled by his fellow farmers, but is ultimately cut down when he wanders into the throne room. The rangers’ sergeant, Zeuxidamos, peppers the Yellow forces with arrows, including King Joanwerd. A single Yellow soldier manages to flee Castle Yellow as the Blue forces capture it and station several rangers to guard the walls.
8:00 Ror discovers more bandits near the border and assaults them. He personally kills the chief, and Assemani cuts down several bandits single-handedly. An enigmatic wizard the bandits were holding captive joins Captain Ror’s platoon.
8:33 The weakened Castle Yellow is assaulted by the Purple Kingdom. The rangers defending it are unable to keep the Purple soldiers from closing in, slaying them, and taking the castle for themselves.
8:48 The last Yellow survivor makes a final stand against the Blue army that killed his king. He perishes, along with the last hopes of his fallen kingdom. The Blue Kingdom is the first to completely destroy all the forces of an enemy kingdom.
8:57 The Kingslayers’ Company attacks the Purple soldiers as they leave the recently-occupied Castle Yellow. A Blue farmer named Shilgen fights wildly and kills three Purple soldiers.
9:08 Balrus, his champions, and their peasant mob attack a recently-deployed Green patrol. The farmers charge in viciously, and many of them are slain by Green soldiers; however, Balrus emerges victorious, and a single Green soldier retreats.
9:26 Salbatore and his Magenta soldiers scare away what few Cyan defenders the Western Fort has and occupy it for themselves. Because of its tendency to change ownership frequently, the Western Fort is nicknamed “Fort Contention.”

      Part 2
9:29 Salbatore’s forces strike the Southern Forge. The battle turns against them quickly. Captain Salbatore is slain by a hammerer named Loki, and another hammerer named Yrmengardis kills many Magenta troops. A single Magenta archer manages to retreat from the battle.
9:59 Captain Balrus, far from his fallen homeland, attacks another bandit camp. Their chief, Peterse, kills many of the peasant farmers following Balrus, but is ultimately slain by Nano. The fighting proves to be valuable experience for the Red Army, and several more units distinguish themselves during training: Sueteluue, Fredeburgis, Dinah, and Shikta.
10:36 The Red Army, in need of a home, sees an opportunity in Castle Magenta. King Deardorff keeps his gates closed to them, so Balrus, in desperation, launches an assault. The battle drags on until only Balrus and his strongest champions stand against the lone King Deardorff. However, Deardorff is a master of combat, and slays the last of the Red army in a show of brutality and determination.
12:19 After a period of tension as the remaining kingdoms gather their strength, Captain Ror, now with a wizard among his squad, continues his crusade against bandits. Cavallaro distinguishes himself in combat by killing the bandit chief, and a hundred farmers from the hills join the Orange champions.
12:55 A new platoon of Green soldiers led by Labat attacks bandits camping in the hills near their castle. An archer named Hildidino finds himself in melee range of the bandit chief and stabs him with his dagger. The Green Kingdom begins recruiting mercenaries from the hills to bolster their ranks.
13:33 The new Cyan army intimidates the Magenta soldiers out of Fort Contention, causing it to change hands once again. Meanwhile, Ror’s peasant mob drives out the Blue Kingdom from the Northern Tribe, and many of the farmers resettle the land.
13:41 The Kingslayers’ Company attempts to rout bandits from their occupied territory. The Blue footman Swantje kills their chief, and Hyrtacus finds a mage observing the battle from afar to recruit to the army.
14:11 With a mage at their backs, the Kingslayers’ Company attempts to recapture Castle Yellow from the Purple Kingdom. With help from the mage’s fireballs, Nathstan leads the troops in killing all the Purple guards and retaking the castle.
14:43 More bandits are discovered in the occupied territories by the Kingslayers’ Company. Shilgen ends up on the wrong end of an axe, while Blue archers GIammarttini and Fye provide ample support for their allies. Allieth the Kingslayer is tragically slain by the warrior Alize, and Castle Red is later named Castle Allieth in honor of his deeds. Hyrtacus finishes the fight in his name, and archers Caldor and Albelenda are recognized for their valor, the latter having avenged Allieth. Stories of Allieth’s deeds spread amongst the people, and a hundred farmers volunteer for the Blue militia.
15:16 Captain Ror’s team, supported by the remaining farmers, assaults Castle Green. The peasant mob overwhelms the Green soldiers, and King l’Ane is killed by a farmer named Caelia. The surviving Green soldiers are forced to retreat, led by a soldier named Aldiet. However, Captain Ror’s team is able to track them down, and the mob puts the fleeing Green soldiers to the sword.
16:12 Another group of bandits is wiped out by the Kingslayers’ Company, with support from an angry mob of farmers bent on avenging Allieth. Zeuxidamos proves once again how formidable he is, and a propaganda campaign in the occupied territories inspires more people to sign up for the Blue Kingdom’s army.
16:37 Labat, Hildidino, and the handful of remaining Green soldiers following them encounter a fresh Magenta army and are forced to fight for their lives. Labat provides a diversion that allows Hildidino and one other Green archer to escape with their lives, but is himself cut off from retreat and cut down by the Magenta archer Lancaster.
17:06 The Blue Kingdom’s second company attacks a bandit camp a little too close for comfort to Castle Blue. The Blue spearman Guillemette slays the bandit chief, and the Blue berserker Canavaro slays the hammerer Itzia. One of the soldiers finds that the rocks nearby contain higher-quality metal, allowing for the forging of better spears.
17:35 Ror’s army approaches Fort Contention and takes it from the Cyan Kingdom without resistance. Meanwhile, Jumel attempts to put Hildidino under arrest, but the latter resists and is cut down.
17:56 Canavaro goads his forces into attacking the Southern Forge. Despite the deaths of all his allies, he cuts a bloody swathe through Loki, Yrmengardis, and the other remaining hammerers. He leaves the forge a bloody mess before returning to Castle Blue.
18:37 The Blue Kingdom’s third company, among them Honoria the Lucky, encounter and attack Lancaster and his men. Despite being aided by several knights, all the Magenta soldiers are killed.
18:59 A new Purple company attacks the Orange forces guarding Fort Contention. Despite fierce resistance, the Orange guardsmen are wiped out, and Purple soldiers Aistan and Hestrarg are commended for their valiant efforts.
19:28 Captain Ror assaults Castle Yellow. Both Ror’s Company and the Blue guardsmen have a mage on their side, and between the Blue mage Sede and the Orange made Helene, the castle field turns into a fiery hellscape. Cavallaro supports the assaulting troops heroically, but Caelia the Kingslaying Farmer is sadly burned to a crisp by Sede. Castle Green is thereafter named Castle Caelia. Cavallaro the Whirlwind finally slays Sede, and the Orange Kingdom captures Castle Yellow from the Blue Kingdom.
20:19 The Blue Kingdom’s third company attacks the Orange farmers at the Northern Tribe. Several Blue soldiers distinguish themselves in combat: Legorburu the soldier and Penthesilea the archer. The Blue Kingdom now controls all four of the free cities, being the first in this war to do so.
20:42 Aistan and Herstarg lead their men against a party of bandits near Castle Purple. The bandits hold their own, and all the Purple soldiers are killed, with one berserker named Osric becoming infamous for his slaying of Hestrarg.
21:10 Honoria leads a small mob of farmers against bandits camped near Castle Allieth. Honoria’s ambition gets the better of him, and his luck finally runs out when the bandits kill all but one of the retreating farmers, who narrowly avoids being killed by the berserker Barbota.
21:26 Jumel leads his reinforced Cyan company in the first assault on Emmerich’s Folly since it was first captured by its namesake, the late Captain Emmerich. Jumel perishes in the fighting, but is avenged by the Cyan archer Cecili. The Blue Kingdom’s dominance over Emmerich’s Folly is finally broken.
21:56 The Kingslayers’ Company, now mostly a mob of farmers who have never heard of the First Kingslayer, attacks Castle Caelia. Fortunately for them, the Orange Kingdom had stationed a similar spattering of farmers to defend the castle. The Blue archer Zuri kills quite a few Orange peasant guardsmen, and the Blue Kingdom takes Castle Caelia, finally establishing dominion over their home corner of the region.

      Part 3
22:38 The Kingslayers’ Company attempts to drive some bandits out of their newly-secured home territory. Two Blue archers, Chopforth and Albelenda, perform admirably in the skirmish, the latter killing the bandit chief Ferumald. The Kingslayers’ Company is renamed the Blue Rangers, due to the number of elite bowmen in the platoon. They also attract the attention of a rogue mage living in the nearby hills.
23:13 As the few Blue soldiers stationed at the Southern Forge flee from a new Magenta company, Canavaro the Blood-Crazed leads a patrol of Blue soldiers against a larger platoon of Orange soldiers. Despite their superior numbers, the Orange soldiers are cut down, with only one archer managing to flee the carnage. Still, only a handful of Blue soldiers remain, and Canavaro considers the soldiers Aliz, Charibert, Canace, and Renoulf to be “properly baptized in blood.”
23:57 Ror’s Elites are forced to face a patrol of Magenta soldiers. Assemani and Cavallaro cut the Magenta soldiers to ribbons, and none of Ror’s men die.
24:22 The Cyan company encounters some bandits in the Blue Kingdom. The bandit chief is struck with an arrow by the archer Beriou, and more in the Cyan Kingdom are inspired to follow his example.
25:00 Ror’s Elites encounter a platoon of Blue soldiers on the road, who zealously charge at the Orange men. One Blue knight lives to tell the tale of Captain Ror and his men, who seem to defy death itself.
25:42 Canavaro’s Blooded attack the Magenta Kingdom at the Southern Forge, the site of Canavaro’s first bloody rage. His men follow him, more out of fear than inspiration, as the Magenta guards are butchered. The Southern Forge, having been the site of several massacres, is nicknamed the “Bloody Forge.”
26:09 The Blue Kingdom is forced to abandon the Bloody Forge as the Cyan platoon approaches en masse.
26:42 The Blue Rangers intercept the Cyan platoon and attack in retribution for taking the Bloody Forge so easily. Beriou is slain by the Blue soldiers accompanying the Rangers, and Caldor and a farmer named Deloys distinguish themselves amongst their brothers in arms.
26:56 An army led by Ror’s Elites drives the Cyan Kingdom out of the Bloody Forge, but the few men they are able to station there are themselves pushed out by the Blue Kingdom.
26:59 Canavaro leads an “unblooded” patrol against a bandit clan living in the Blue Kingdom. Unfortunately, most of his men, among them Renouf, are killed by the bandits, who are then cleaved apart by Canavaro. Canavaro starts a riot in a nearby farming community, and a hundred angry peasants follow him as he looks for his next bloody slaughter.
27:38 The Bloody Forge changes hands again: first the Purple Kingdom scares off the few defending Blue Kingdom soldiers, but their own soldiers are chased away by the Magenta platoon.
27:41 Ror’s Elites lead a patrol against a small bandit tribe. Their chief, Cosin, is killed by an arrow shot by the archer Delgundleof. The deeds of Ror’s Elites are now legendary, and the common folk, although living under the rule of different kingdoms, sing the praises of the Orange soldiers.
28:16 Cavanaro’s peasant horde frightens the Magenta soldiers away from the Bloody Forge, and a number of farmers stay behind to guard it.
28:22 Ror’s Elites square off against the Magenta platoon, which, despite having occupied the Bloody Forge several times, has yet to see actual battle. Unsurprisingly, Ror’s Elites handily destroy the Magenta platoon.
28:39 The Purple Kingdom’s soldiers scare away the Cyan Kingdom’s soldiers stationed at Emmerich’s Folly. Cavanaro’s peasant horde scares off the Purple soldiers left behind, and more farmers hold the outpost.
28:42 The Cyan patrol attacks the Northern Tribe, now being held by Legorburu, Penthesilea, and a fair number of Blue berserkers. Legorburu gives his life in defense of the tribe, and the Cyan invaders are driven out with only one survivor. However, only Penthesilea, the soldier Adelpa, and a few scattered Blue soldiers remain to defend the tribe.
29:27 The Blue Rangers attack the handful of bandits that previously slaughtered the Purple Kingdom’s soldiers. The infamous Osric is slain by Hyrtacus, and the Blue Rangers salvage the exceptional armor the bandits were using and make their own men much stronger.
29:43 The Blue Kingdom takes the fight to their Orange rivals, as the Blue Rangers, armed to the teeth, assault Castle Orange. Rangers Giammarttini and Fye give ample supporting firepower, and Hyrtacus slays King Kost, reminding the world of the Blue Rangers’ former moniker.
30:15 The sole Orange survivor from Castle Orange is waylaid and murdered by bandits in the nearby hills.
30:33 A Cyan patrol led by Cecili attacks a bandit camp near Castle Cyan. The archer Vicelin and the hammer Fabiana distinguish themselves. The Cyan Angels inspire a hundred peasants to follow them into battle.
30:57 Ror’s Elites lead a patrol of soldiers in an assault on Castle Purple. An Orange soldier named Sachse fights valiantly, but is overshadowed by Assemani slaying King Mandgren. The remaining Purple soldiers are chased into the hills and summarily executed.
31:26 A Purple patrol is attacked by a Blue platoon near Castle Caelia. No Purple soldiers survive the battle.
31:40 Canavaro’s peasant horde arrives at Castle Purple and ritually sacrifices the few unfortunate Orange soldiers left defending it. One Orange spearman, Godvynus, is recognized by Canavaro for standing strong against the horde, but is nonetheless flayed in the castle square. The Blue Kingdom controls all but a quarter of the country now, and some question the legitimacy of their tyranny.
32:31 Canavaro leads a patrol of peasants in an attack on the remaining Purple soldiers that wander the wilderness. Much like his first victory at the Bloody Forge, Canavaro is outnumbered, yet is able to slaughter his enemies down to the last man. Canavaro is the sole survivor of the battle, and rumors spread that to follow him is to invite your own death.
33:30 The Cyan Angels lead the mob of farmers against the group of bandits that killed Honoria the Lucky. They avenge the fallen farmer, killing Barbota in the process. A wise mage offers to accompany the shield-maidens.
33:57 The Cyan Angels discover Canavaro wandering through a field, still covered in gore from his last battle. The blood-addled berserker, now clearly driven mad by his many battles, sees the horde of farmers and flies into a murderous rage. He kills many peasants, but a fateful arrow from Cecili’s bow finally brings down Canavaro, ending a dark chapter of the country’s history.
34:22 Deep in Blue Kingdom territory, Ror’s Elites engage a group of bandits. Audoin and Actaee fight bravely, but the young hero Delgundleof meets his end at the hands of the soldier Burtis. Still, Ror’s Elites are able to slay the bandits, but their fight has world-shattering consequences: something deep in the earth is roused by the sounds of battle, and great tremors rip apart the land. All the castles and villages are destroyed, swallowed into the earth, and their inhabitants are forced to flee into the blood-soaked countryside. Ragnarok has come.

      Part 4
34:59 King Weick, having fled Castle Cyan, encounters and fights a group of bandits. Unfortunately, he is slain by a hammerer named Senteildis, and his men retreat in fear.
35:08 The mighty King Deardorff seeks to finish what Weick started, and personally avenges the fallen Cyan king. He rallies a hundred homeless farmers to his side as they seek to survive in the wasteland.
35:41 The Blue King Leffquen, having been driven from his home, finds himself engaged in battle with a Magenta patrol. The Blue footman Resende is commended personally by the king, and only one Magenta soldier escapes.
36:01 Unfortunately, that same Magenta soldier stumbles upon the Orange soldiers that fled Castle Yellow. The Orange mage Helene burns him to a crisp.
36:09 A patrol of loyal Blue farmers encounter Ror’s Elites and attack them. All the Blue soldiers are killed, but among the Orange soldiers, only Captain Ror and his Elites survive.
36:48 Two bitter enemies finally engage in battle: King Leffquen and his loyal Blue soldiers, and Captain Ror and his Elites. The recently-promoted Resende is slain by Cavallaro, and finally, after a long struggle, Captain Ror personally strikes down King Leffquen.
37:18 The remaining Cyan soldiers that followed King Weick are attacked by King Deardorff’s peasant army. One Cyan knight manages to escape the battlefield, only to be ambushed and killed by bandits further in the hills.
37:46 King Deardorff’s peasant army then attacks a rabble of Blue soldiers, but is massacred despite outnumbering them nearly two to one. However, Deardorff demonstrates his battle prowess yet again, and only he and one fleeing Blue archer leave the battlefield.
39:06 The Blue Rangers and the Cyan Angels finally meet. Many of the Rangers and the Angels are killed in the battle, but the Angels, having only farmers to support them against the Rangers’ trained soldiers, are eventually forced to retreat.
39:32 King Deardorff finds himself facing champions once again: much like he once defended his castle against Captain Balrus and the last Red soldiers, he now faces Ror’s Elites, two of which have killed kings before him. The Last Battle of Killers and Kings is later recorded in song. Deardorff first kills Assemani, one of the Elites’ kingslaying members. Actaee and Audoin then fall to Deardorff’s blade in quick succession. Captain Ror attempts a flank on Deardorff, but the King of Killers is no fool, and cuts Ror’s head from his shoulders. Sachse falls next, and then only Cavallaro the Whirlwind stands against Deardorff. The two dance around each other in a flurry of steel, until finally, in one fell swoop, Cavallaro’s blades cut through the neck of the man that slew his brothers. As Deardorff’s crown and severed head clatter to the ground, Cavallaro stands over the King of Killers, now himself a Killer of Kings.
40:30 Far away, two of the late Canavaro’s blooded, Aliz and Canace, lead a group of farmers and militia against a bandit camp. A farmer named Ophelia and a spearman named Athelstan fight well, the latter killing the bandit chief Albin. Aliz, however, falls during the fight, and some say she was relieved to finally die after all she had seen. A hundred farmers rally behind Ophelia’s example.
41:17 The Blue Rangers, now leading most of the remaining Blue forces, attack the Orange soldiers accompanying Helene. Helene and one soldier are able to retreat, but the rest fall to the Blue Rangers.
41:40 The Blue Rangers find Cavallaro, kingslayer and last of Ror’s Elites, and, while unable to kill the man who killed their king, seek to avenge their kingdom nonetheless. Caldor falls to Cavallaro’s blades, as do Chopforth, Fye, Adelpha, and fellow kingslayer Zeuxidamos. Cavallaro cuts a path through the tide of Blue soldiers and retreats with his life.
42:10 A platoon of Blue farmers attacks all that remain of the Cyan Angels: Cecili, the mage Peregrine, and a handful of soldiers. Peregrine uses his magic to push Cecili, the Last Angel, to safety away from the battlefield, and miraculously manages to also flee alive.
42:36 The Blue farmers following Canace, Athelstan, and Ophelia come across Cavallaro. Ophelia rallies her fellow peasants against the kingslayer, but is cut down by the man along with many of her fellow farmers.
43:01 The Blue Rangers find Helene and her squire wandering the countryside. The two attempt to flee, but are dispatched quickly, with Hyrtacus the Kingslayer pushing past Helene’s arcane blasts to deliver the final blow. Cavallaro is the final survivor of the Orange Kingdom.
43:10 Canace, Athelstan, and the farmers that followed Ophelia encounter and attack Cecili, Peregrine, and their few remaining followers. Cecili is killed before Peregrine can do anything, and the mage is the sole survivor of both the battle and the Cyan Kingdom.
43:26 Peregrine is attacked by an unrelated gaggle of angry Blue farmers. He fends them off with his magic, burning many of them to cinders with fireballs, and manages to flee the battlefield.
43:41 The Blue Rangers catch up to Peregrine, whose wits and magic can no longer save him. He is slain by Penthesilia, one of the survivors of the Northern Tribe. Only Cavallaro remains to stand against the remaining Blue armies.
43:51 The Blue Rangers encounter a final group of bandits that have migrated from the hills. Following the battle, and in anticipation of having to hunt and kill Cavallaro, the Blue Rangers engage in rigorous training exercises before continuing on.
44:04 The Blue Rangers once again face the deadly Cavallaro. In the end, Nathstan, Blue Ranger and Soldier, kills the Killer of Kings. At last, peace comes to the world. But in spite of the Blue “Kingdom” achieving victory, there are no real winners in this broken world-only the living and the rest.

3 IDEAS: 1. Mage slayer: maybe for marbles who slay mages, give them titles and a special effect like an Aoe attack or forcefield but a bit weaker 2. Tactics: maybe as a reward generals can command special units to retreat if their health is too low( inspired by captain Ror) or can start off the battle with optimal positions( hammermen at the front, archers at the back, spearmen in the middle etc.) 3. Cavalry: Units that move extremely fast and wield jousts

Idea: there should be a chance that when a color approaches a castle, they either form a truce, alliance or fight and another chance that they will accept or decline (if the color wants a truce or alliance). declining means fighting, accepting proceeds with whatever action is chosen:
Truces are pretty simple, they just avoid eachother for however many seconds or battles (in game time not real time), meaning they won’t attack eachothers legions or colonies. Alliances are also pretty simple, they work together and will sometimes attack the same destination together (if they’re going there) and it acts like a permanent truce aswell, sometimes they can also communicate for whatever needed.

This one is a tale of great peasants conscription. About hundreds of lives that were lost in fires of war, about a great struggle to rebuild one's fallen kingdom, a warning for usage of magic as a weapon of mass destruction, a tale of heroes of all shapes and sizes, those aiming to unite this land and those who stood to oppose the oppression, and how their efforts brought ruin to this war-torn land. Remember the heroes.

19:56 Orange attack Blue castle. Orange 48 vs Blue 21. Blue Mage kills 30 warriors but was defeat. Orange has got the castle. Legend was burned in battle. The five orange who survived that hell start their path.
23:56 Orange 5 vs Pink 18 => Too easy to Orange. No one from Orange elite group was killed. All enemies was destroyed
24:58 Orange 5 vs Blue 25 => Just a feeding to Orange. Again no death on Orange team. Only one blue man can retreat all others were killed
26:08 Finally, the orange elite received reinforcements
28:23 5 Orange elite with 11 newbie attack 20 Pink. A good practice to Orange ))
30:58 5 Orange elite with reinforcements attack one more castle.
    And you guess what?
34:48 Orange king has a decision to finish that with big fight
36:08 Orange 11 vs Blue 34. Guess what? Elite group is back! 6 Orange man again say Deth God: Not today!
36:47 Orange 6 vs Blue 30 (with king). Blue was really good. Even on of them has retreated 😀
39:32 Orange 6 vs Pink 1 (king). He is worthy of this fight. Now in Orange Elite Group only one member 😢
41:39 Orange 1 vs Blue 93. He wanted to die as a warrior, but he was let down. Leaving exactly 50 fighters alive, Orange left this battle in search of great fighters who would be worthy of fighting against him.
42:34 Orange 1 vs Blue 119. One more try to find Dignified death. But it was just a peasants. After killing more than 40 man Orange leave the fight

Idea: since we can now capture castles, there's a need for a mechanic of rebellions:
Stage 0: After getting conquered unrest slowly builds up in a city and gets significantly reduced if a controlling army visits the the city.
Stage 1: Unrest got to a visible level (≈35): when an army visits it, some people will start an uprising - a medium group of farmers, spearmen, fighters and a few archers defend the city, a successful defense will automatically proceed to stage 2, a failure to stage 0 with 0 unrest.
Stage 2: If the unrest gets even higher (≈75) or the rebels have successfully won stage 1, the city will become neutral city with a large garrison of farmers, spearmen, fighters and a few archers. All the armies get a slight pull to the rebel castle. If an army sieges the castle and fails, it adds more unrest, else it goes to stage 0 with some unrest
Stage 3: If the unrest gets to 100 or an allied has arrived, neutral rebel city is transfered to the original owner and a new king is crowned (highest level hero). The pull to the city stops, the temporary rebel army is disbanded.

I propose that in the future so that we see more elite strike forces actually attacking settlements, every level a troop gains doubles its "weight"
    level 0 = 1
    level 1 = 2
    level 2 = 4
Because it doesn't feel right that a strike force of 5 heroes would be scared of 15 average joes especially when one of them is level 5

"How long have I been fighting?", I ask myself as I look down upon my newest fallen foe and the corpses of my comrades. I know their names, I know their faces, I know who these corpses used to be. Sachse, Actaee, and Audion, they were not the most accomplished of us, but they had the most heart. They... were like younger siblings to all of us, to be protected but not coddled, and yet now their faces are still, void of the brilliant smiles they were known for. Captain Ror, the hard as brass leader of our group, picked up the title Kingslayer from his defeat of King Leffguen. He was dependable, and had been there since the beginning, he was our anchor. Now that anchor lies in the mud, chain broken, unable to anchor anything again. Assemani, another Kingslayer from defeating King Mandgren, he was my blood brother. We fought together, bled together, laughed together, and so much more, we were allways at eachothers side. Now the only thing left of him at my side is the sword he once swung in his off-hand. King Deardorff took them from me, HE TOOK THEM FROM ME... whats the point any more? No. That's not who we were. We were hunters, killers, slayers, we did not back down when the world spit in our face. I stand up, and turn to face the next foe.
My breathing is ragged as I limp away from the battle. I had come across a force of the late King Leffguen's soldiers, they numbered nearly a hundred strong when we clashed. My rage left only half as many left before I had to retreat. Rage is a powerful tool, but used flippantly will lead to death more often then not. What was that?
Another group from that bastard Leffguen found me. I had bearly been able to rest and heal before they pounced on me like a predator hunting wounded prey. Not to far from the truth were they? I took nearly 50 of them down before retreating again. I will avenge you my brothers in time, for a single man to do the work of legions, time is all that is required.
A few days passed before I came across the same group I cleaved in two before getting ambushed, I recognized a few. They were prepared for me though, as I tried to cut and weave through them like a scythe through wheat, they stopped me, pinned me in with their own bodies while taking pot shots. I raged against them, oh I raged, but I could do nothing. I looked up into the eyes of my killer, a younger man with plenty of scars, and realize we aren't so different, he and I. I smile softly as my body grows leaden and my vision blurs and fades, with a final whisper leaving my parched lips. "I'm sorry my comrades, I'm coming home with work unfinished.", I take in a shuddering breath in and exhale, "forgive me.", no louder than a breeze.

For me every update is cool except 39:36. What the heck is this? Yea, 4th level king but oneshoting full hp 6 level hero through helmet? No, this is dumb. The whole idea of leveling is what hero can't be oneshoted by someone who is weaker in level. And what is really makes me raging is that without cities every member of army is important and in this battle orange lost 5 out of 6 team members. And I understand that king is rare unit and you can have only one in game but it doesn't mean he has to be OP.
