- Adelaide has re-claimed its spot in the top eight after withstanding the challenge of a wasteful Brisbane to secure a 17-point victory in slippery conditions at Adelaide Oval on Sunday evening.
The result ended the Lions' seven-game winning streak, with the visitors left to rue kicking 1.9 from 19 inside 50s in the third term when they closed within a goal, only for the Crows to pull away to triumph 14.11 (95) to 10.18 (78) and move up to seventh on the ladder.

Great win by the boys last year I wish we bet Brisbane this year to
Rankine 3:09, Rachele 5:35, Rankine 7:05
You're welcome
Gritty, tussle of a game. I loved it. Q3 was a great battle, and Q4 electric when Crows took off. They were cohesive and so much better with the ball in those conditions. Crows got a good thing with Matthew Nicks.
Cromtastic
crows are the definition of home ground advantage
This was a great game, but a home game advantage. Until the Crows win interstate consistently, they're not going to make the finals let alone win the premiership. Unfortunately, I don't think the Crows will make the finals this year for the same reason. I think they're close to making a good team, but this year is still not it.
Go the crom
You’d have thought after the Max King Flop/dive/staging/whatever they’re calling it now, the umpires would have been sent the message that staging would have been on notice and that the rule could be used at any time when it occurs.. yet we’re blind to the rule with Walker taking the dive after taking the mark in the 4th.
I’m not a crows supporter (I’m American), but where is the umpiring consistency in using the tools in their belt instead of being reactive to it afterwards. Now they can’t enforce that rule without looking inconsistent.
I think tex flopped because harris andrews had done the same thing a few time previously in the game
@@hamishnewman2675 One doing it because someone else does it makes both people wrong. Lindsay Thomas' career basically ended because he staged/dived/flopped, and Brad Scott called him out on it. The rule was basically brought in because of what he did, and last I checked, that rule has not been taken out of the game. When the umpire saw it happening in the first game (I think it was St. Kilda/Hawthorn), the umpires should have pulled the trigger immediately on it then and there, and this would have been a non issue for the remaining games, and put the rest of the comp on notice again for this. Now the AFL is playing reactive to this, and now will have inconsistencies when paying penalties against it because they got it wrong for 3 games throughout a round of footy.

The title lol
Of course the one week I don't tip the crows
Isn’t it Kuwarna
THIS WAS MADE A YEAR AGO

Put on a show??? Lions would have won if even slightly more accurate for goal
Crows played better they just had just kicked 1.9 in the third which was their best quarter
Coulda woulda shoulda didn't 😂😂😂😂😂
Not you ignoring what Rankine and Rachele did with the ball 😂😂😂 I like Lions but they got outplayed and didn't capatalize like the Crows
Brisbane: 28 scoring shots
Crows: 25 scoring shots
The more accurate team will always win. Brisbane can only blame their Harry McKay kicking style.
⬛ St Kilda's Jack Higgins is useless.

Just like your mom
Brisbane should've won, but they were too inaccurate and it is their own damn fault. Well done to Adelaide. Is this the year they play Finals?
🏈 St Kilda's Jack Higgins is useless.

Lions lost the plot, some terrible play and defence. With that said there were some HORRIBLE calls too..... but that's always for the Lions. Always battling the umpires as well.
