When you listen to this OST after much, much time has passed, one can't help but marvel at how their voices blended together can instantly generate the vibes and the emotions of Lan Zhan/Wei Wuxian. Also this ost is priceless bcos you know they will never ever duet together again..not publicly at least or until they are middle aged and safe to do so.

Honestly, I think if you truly understood the show and look at the lyrics even if you can’t you can potentially. This song is pretty much about them, even if I don’t know the language after watching the show and reading the lyrics I understand more. But yeah if we knew Chinese it would be better to understand

They were in singing idol groups as well!UNIQ for Wang Yibo and XNINE for Xiao Zhan! They are both great! Tho I was shocked to see Yibo singing since he was mostly rapper. Very good!

I love the chinese language (such as mandarin) and how much emotion and meaning it has, even if it is a language the english language just doesn't really capture emotions like many other languages do and I just don't understand how that can be possible but it is.

It's not that sad tbh, coz Lan Zhan comes back and you hear a "Wei Ying" at the end of the last episode where WY stops his flute and turns back with a smile on his face.
Actually at the end when wei Ying tunes wuji, Lan zhan calls him (not showing his face).. Wei Ying turns and smiles. This is an open ending that they became together forever as soulmates. It was just to pass the censorship. The director did their best to show the love/romance secretly to pass the censorship. I highly appreciate it

All of the actors and the ones dubbing made this an almost otherworldly experience. You get pulled into this world, and it never lets go. Xiao zhan was dubbed by the wwx of the audio drama while Yibo was dubbed by lwj of the donghua/animation :) when i first found out I felt so dissonant about it but was healed by a gameshow in which xiao zhan and wang yibo just yelled at each other and freaked everyone else out HAHAHAAH

I just finished the drama. I can't get over it. It's just great and I feel like I will never get to watch a drama and be completely satisfied since after watching this my standards got pretty high. This song moves me to tears everytime I listen to it. Their voices are great. I will never forget these past days. I literally finished watching within 2-3 days. I pulled an all nighter and later regretted it so much because it ended too fast.

facts, even more so with the novel it's based on, Mo Dao Zu Shi. Mainly because their (WWX & LWJ) romance is allowed to be there in the novel. Tho I was never in the kpop craphole thankfully lol
I watched many dramas but the untamed really hit me emotionally and I felt so attached to the characters and so now the untamed as become my favorite drama😌
“Endless people await at journey’s end” Is my favorite line. Jiang Cheng might be a good example here, he truly wanted to believe We Wu Xian wouldn’t do what he did. He wanted this Journey of Sorrow to end, as it was pointless. Even if he knew it was pointless, he still continued to believe that Wei Wu Xian did kill Yanli (Shijie) as he couldn’t take it that Yanli was truly dead. Or maybe it was the juniors, specifically A-Yuan, (Lan Si Zhui) he knew someone took care of him before Lan Zhan, but didn’t know whom, he wanted this Journey of Finding to end. Of course, most of my words are complicated, and it’s hard to explain what I want to say, so it might sound like random words making a sentence. So, if this comment is ignored and not interacted with at all, I wouldn’t mind.
Your "sentence" makes good sense. It would be interesting to see his evolvement after the big discoveries that WWX was framed. That might take a few episodes of a series by itself. Maybe he could do a vision quest, a martial artist spiritual journey, or a few fist fights with WWX. Some kind of myth making transformation. And do invite WWX for dinner, after an appropriate time out after this ending. I always wanted Shijie to be smarter or tougher. Not quite like her Mom. Heavens, now there was a strong one, at least with the serpent. Cool tool. I felt so sorry for the sister always being sick. Physically from emotional upset or maybe actual physical ailments. They are generally the same, but I digress. I loved it that the author was really into the Myths. So evident. Fascinating the work with the prisoners she did while in jail. Thanks for commenting with depth. There is a fair bit about The Untamed out there.

This drama came as a RUclips suggestion and I have ignored it as I have never watched any Chinese drama. On a lockdown period I was so bored and clicked the 1 st episode and that was the beginning of an addiction. I finished all 50 episodes within 48 hours. Truly I couldn't focus on doing anything else until I finish. I was hypnotized by this song and later searched to find out who really sang this. It was amazing to find out that both Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan sang this. A master piece. Both the drama and the song.
Hi, I saw this amazing drama in the year 2019. It was my very first non American series and my mind was opened up to a whole new world I never knew existed. American dramas cannot hold a birthday candle to the Chinese dramas. I just finished the drama. I can't get over it. It's just great and I feel like I will never get to watch a drama and be completely satisfied since after watching this my standards got pretty high. This song moves me to tears everytime I listen to it. Their voices are great. I will never forget these past days. I literally finished watching within 2-3 days. I pulled an all nighter and later regretted it so much because it ended too fast.

Is my favorite line. Jiang Cheng might be a good example here, he truly wanted to believe We Wu Xian wouldn’t do what he did. He wanted this Journey of Sorrow to end, as it was pointless. Even if he knew it was pointless, he still continued to believe that Wei Wu Xian did kill Yanli (Shijie) as he couldn’t take it that Yanli was truly dead. Or maybe it was the juniors, specifically A-Yuan, (Lan Si Zhui) he knew someone took care of him before Lan Zhan, but didn’t know whom, he wanted this Journey of Finding to end. Of course, most of my words are complicated, and it’s hard to explain what I want to say, so it might sound like random words making a sentence. So, if this comment is ignored and not interacted with at all, I wouldn’t mind.
Your "sentence" makes good sense. It would be interesting to see his evolvement after the big discoveries that WWX was framed. That might take a few episodes of a series by itself. Maybe he could do a vision quest, a martial artist spiritual journey, or a few fist fights with WWX. Some kind of myth making transformation. And do invite WWX for dinner, after an appropriate time out after this ending.
I always wanted Shijie to be smarter or tougher. Not quite like her Mom. Heavens, now there was a strong one, at least with the serpent. Cool tool. I felt so sorry for the sister always being sick. Physically from emotional upset or maybe actual physical ailments. They are generally the same, but I digress.
I loved it that the author was really into the Myths. So evident. Fascinating the work with the prisoners she did while in jail.

This drama came as a RUclips suggestion and I have ignored it as I have never watched any Chinese drama. On a lockdown period I was so bored and clicked the 1 st episode and that was the beginning of an addiction. I finished all 50 episodes within 48 hours. Truly I couldn't focus on doing anything else until I finish. I was hypnotized by this song and later searched to find out who really sang this. It was amazing to find out that both Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan sang this. A master piece. Both the drama and the song.

Hi, I saw this amazing drama in the year 2019. It was my very first non American series and my mind was opened up to a whole new world I never knew existed. American dramas cannot hold a birthday candle to the Chinese dramas.
