TAKE A DEEP BREATH, AND RELAX...
You have come to the lake hoping to see a rare and beautiful sight. The lilies of the lake only open their blossoms in the rain, and only rarely do all eight kinds of lily bloom at once. The goal of A Gentle Rain is to place the lake tiles in such a way to cause all eight types of lilies to bloom before you run out of tiles and the rain ends.
Place each new tile you draw next to a tile already in play, making sure to match the colors of all the tile edges touching the tile you are placing. Each time you manage to complete a square of four touching tiles, a blossom opens between them.

I really do enjoy how simple and quick it is!
Great playthrough of this wonderful game. I just got a copy yesterday and played it for the first time and I saw what you meant about things not lining up. Mine is really bad. It triggers my OCD pretty bad. But I still love the game. Thank you for sharing.
Oh no!! You might want to try to reach out to them for a replacement. Mine isn’t too horrible, but triggers me if I look too closely 🤦🏽♀️
@@JenCamPlaysBoardGames I have found that my love of playing the game outweighs my triggering. LOL. So I have sent a message to the manufacturer and have now played 10 times. It is such a relaxing game.
I just got mine from target and the same problem, some flowers dont match perfectly. Its a shame that a newer printing of this game had such issues. But im able to overlook it with it being so short.
Bummer that it is the Target version is well!! I think they re replacing ones that are messed up, but I have a hard time justifying the “waste” since mine isn’t as bad as other copies.
@JenCamPlaysBoardGames yeah, I was waiting for a while to find it in my area. Jumped at the opportunity. Look before you leap I guess haha. Oh well, still a fun little filler game I can play with little set up. So it still has its purpose.

cool little game. too bad about the quality control problem with them not lining up. that should not happen in a game this small and simple.
Luckily mine isn't as bad as some, but still really disappointing.
