I live in Ceglie and the food festival was crazy busy this year! I do love how you show the local food before diving into the houses. Very Italian of you !
Both homes are beautiful! The townhouse is gorgeous and the country home is perfect for a getaway. You make very good videos. You not only show the house but also the lifestyle one can have in the place. Bravo!
I love both these places. The second one would make a nice weekend retreat. I noticed a few comments about the livingroom/kitchen being in one space with a separate diningroom. That's traditional Italian living. Sitting around in the kitchen and using the dining room, if you even have one, for large gatherings. That's why the fireplace is in the kitchen.
I like qualities of both houses. Beautiful high ceilings in the first house and the cuteness of the trullo. If it was a country house with the high ceilings I would be sold. Thank you!
I always look forward to your videos. The food, delish! The homes, very charming! With all that outdoor space, I´m envisioning the trullo with a little manicured garden area to leisure in. Thanks again! ❤
I like all your presentation’s but more so these comparison videos of what you get in city and countryside. Thank you so much. Auguri di buone feste Natalizie!
In the winter, you may want to be in the warmer room while relaxing, but for most the year I totally agree. And nothing an hours work moving furniture twice a year wouldn't fix.
Both houses are amazing getaways, well done for finding both of them! The trullo is like a little hobbit house ❤ 😊 and perfect as a getaway for a couple. The town house is perfectly positioned behind the piazza. Hard to choose, but the trullo has something magical...
Love the town tour! and of course the food! Don't care for either house, and neither is exactly a bargain...unfortunate remodel/decor on the apartment. Thanks!
My wife and I recently found your videos and love how you share a little bit about the town and the food. One question, many of the houses you show seem to have smaller windows which don’t allow the most light. Do you know whether renovations are allowed to make the windows or doors to terraces larger? Or are their restrictions on that?
Because these are made from stone, sometimes enlarging a window could compromise the integrity of the walls. And either way, for houses in the centro storico (historic center), there are laws about what you can change, and you usually can't make those types of changes. Like you can only paint the exterior of your house a certain few colors that have been approved by the commune. This preserves the historical look and feel.
So I have to admit I saw the beginning of this episode and don’t remember any of your previous including a tour of a trulli? What episode number is it that includes the trulli? Thx and love your videos
@@Justdreamitaly thanks for your reply. Sorry but not from any of the major international airport to Bari or Brindisi. Anyway it looks like Rome / Napels for at least 5 / 6 hours by train or rent a car. Please correct me if you are sure.
While I love the house in Ceglie, I much prefer the trullo because of the land and orchards. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want plum, almond, pear, and especially olive groves to get your own olive oil??
Both homes are lovely. I like that the stone country house has lots of land. Can you build onto it if you wanted to? How much are taxes and utilities at each of these houses?
Here in the US Every Townhouse has "Maintenance" Fees payable monthly. You didn't mention the price for that. Is it because Townhouse just means it's in the town, not on the outskirts , or rural area? If my knowledge of math from 50 years ago in Europe, I think that 4,000 square meters makes 2 Hectares! That is huge. It's the size of a mini Farm! NICE!
Your 1st home has beautiful star ceilings. How much would it cost to expose the stone. Of course I'd replace the tile in the kitchen. Looking to create a Italian colorful kitchen.
Hello! NEW to your channel. I know this is almost 1 year old. I am tall at six foot even. I prefer the first one. Although, I love the idea of the second one. Very sweet indeed. The details are lovely. I have enjoyed viewing quite a few of your videos. It would be nice to understand the height restriction for some of the homes. MOST of what you share I can see, have verrrrrrrrrrrrry tall ceilings and archways. These are fun little dramas you put together. I am also curious too, how would daily life look? How far is it to go shopping and do they have art stores? Does Amazon come in or would you take the train to some other nearby city to get some art supplies? Maker has to make you know. ;-) Cheers!
Hi I highly appreciate your vid's. Would you mind to let me know which music it is in your last video (this is what a 100k ...). Trumpet music. Txs a lot
i dont understand the logic why kitchen/lounge room with a separate dining room? logically it should be kitchen/dining room with a separate lounge room. and often both have huge dining tables and there is no difference at all. dont italians lounge? i really like both properties.
Ok Thanks for showing these two properties. Somewhat of a reprieve from your normal type of properties. So my other comment might have been a little harsh on one of your so call bargain priced videos. I must also give you props for your video editing and style. Still not convinced your services or of your partner company would be a good match h for what we are looking for, but I have subscribed and will continue to view more of your content. Again sorry if my demeanor comes across a bit harsh. It seems for every skilled ethical professionals there are 20 unskilled highway men / women.
I like the town house, except for the orange, I usually like orange, but it can be painted. Don’t care for the Trullio, it’s too small, and the kitchen isn’t very functional, it needs more cupboards, as you can see with other carts and such, which , Makes it look cluttered and obvious it doesn’t have enough cupboards. It seems overpriced for being small, I know it’s got all that property, but you can’t live outside. Also, I think the stone needs to be revealed.
Those sell so fast, in Ostuni a smaller trullo without water, electricity or road to take you close by car, just stone sold so fast People love it cause instead of spending on hotels they prefer this solution. They rent very fast in spring and summer and they are not cheap.
Where was the food. You showed only animal flesh and other junk fried in refined oil :) Why destroy your health? Puglia is a food paradise hehe. Properties are amazing and trullo is so cute.
Nice. I love that you show houses in this price range. 50-150k is what more people can afford.
I found my drug which are your beautiful videos combining food, history, and architecture information
An elegant, creative presentation, beautiful to watch
Thank you 🙏
In Southern Italy you can find incredible hidden gems! Thank you fro sharing them with us!
i would NOT repaint that first kitchen - i adore that terracotta color!such a beautiful apartment.
I live in Ceglie and the food festival was crazy busy this year! I do love how you show the local food before diving into the houses. Very Italian of you !
The countryside property makes me smile more with all the luscious vegetation around. It’s more tranquil. Very nice video!
I love the way how you create your videos❤ Really best quality!
I love your videos! So well made. Thank you!

I can’t imagine living in those towns in the hot summer. No trees!
Very, very interesting! The little Trullo is a gem 🌟 really well renovated. I love it ❤
I like qualities of both houses. Beautiful high ceilings in the first house and the cuteness of the trullo. If it was a country house with the high ceilings I would be sold. Thank you!

Thanks Melissa. Glad you enjoy! The food was amazing 🤩
The trullo is very cute for a couple or single person. Nice to visit Ceglie Messapica.
Great video, thank you! PS: in the US, we call a house a "turn-key property" if it's ready to move into right away. Similar to the term you used :)
That trullo is amazing!
Great vid. You put a lot of effort into the storyline. Keep up the good work. New Sub.
I like all your presentation’s but more so these comparison videos of what you get in city and countryside. Thank you so much. Auguri di buone feste Natalizie!
I would use the main entrance room as dining/kitchen and the second room as living room.
In the winter, you may want to be in the warmer room while relaxing, but for most the year I totally agree. And nothing an hours work moving furniture twice a year wouldn't fix.

Great Video, keep it up bro! I’d pick house #2 for a weekend place def not a place live in. Cheers Kirk
Both beautiful, but i prefer the city apartment. Italy is a very beautiful country.
Beautiful video and beautiful homes!👍❤️

I love all your videos ….beautifully presented . We going to Puglia in December January….will it still be lively ?
Love the Trullo. Beautiful.
Loved both but the country is my favorite.
Great video! ❤ I prefer the city one but would love the country for getaways 👍🏼
So I have to admit I saw the beginning of this episode and don’t remember any of your previous including a tour of a trulli? What episode number is it that includes the trulli? Thx and love your videos
Grazie! Episode 10 (Locorotondo) and episode 13 (Cisternino)
Bravo Marco !
Thanks for the review, appreciated. Please any airports connecting to mayor airports or only by train from Rome, Napels etc?
Thanks! You have Bari International an hour and a half to the North, and Brindisi airport (European and domestic flights) 45 mins south.

The first condo was cute. I didn't like the lack of green/trees. The second trullo was cute, small though but nice for a couple retreat.

How far away is this trullo (from the condo:))?
The architercture reminds me of north african old cities
Ti ricordi male😂😂😂😂
Please show the borders of the land, which belongs to the trullo. That would be very helpful. Thank you.
tough to choose
Whet is the food festival?
Definitely the city house.
Hi I highly appreciate your vid's. Would you mind to let me know which music it is in your last video (this is what a 100k ...). Trumpet music. Txs a lot
It’s called ‘Lutto a Bagheria’ by TEO
Love it 💕
В последнем доме бирюзовом. Кто делал проводку? Можно было аккуратно спрятать провода. Такой нежный дом
Lack of storage space in the country house makes it tough to live in without building another storage unit.

NOT a dream house, but a nightmare! They ruined the spirit of this house with their modern renovation. What a shame!
The ceiling stone/brick ceiling has been covered up which is a complete shame. The house is nice but there is no wow factor to it for me.
country!
First house - the first room is lovely, but that kitchen looks so out of place
Too much too dream all beautiful what about cost of living there to retire
City
Where was the food. You showed only animal flesh and other junk fried in refined oil :) Why destroy your health? Puglia is a food paradise hehe. Properties are amazing and trullo is so cute.
The video fails to mention how much land comes with the trullo despite mentioning that the land around the trullo belongs to the owner of the trullo.
At 14:56 I mention it. 4000sqm of land
This dude eats a crap load of octopus
