Best Beach for Privacy Near Cayo Costa? Boating from Pineland Marina to Punta Blanca Island

In this video, we are doing a really fun Boat trip from the Pineland Marina, on Pine Island, Florida, near Cape Coral and Punta Gorda, over to a cool island that many people don't know about, called Punta Blanca Island. Punta Blanca is a medium size island located across from Cayo Costa State Park. Punta Blanca is on the over side of the Pelican Bay and Pelican Bay Sandbar, where we do a lot of boat trips.
Cayo Costa is a boat access only State Park island located just minutes away from Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, and Pine Island here in Southwest Florida. Cayo Costa State Park is one of our favorite beach trips in the Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda area, but it does get pretty crowded sometimes. We wanted to find a good spot that we can go when things get too crowded on the sandbar, and I think we found our spot!
This is the first video we have done of this location and the first time we have been there ourselves, so we are excited to go on this journey together!
Since it is boat accessible only, you can get a huge chuck of the island to yourself, and feel like you are on an 'Old Florida Deserted Island'. This is what Florida looked like 400+ years ago. We were able to find a secluded, private section of beach nestled between some mangroves and had a great day on the island. Hey! That was a screenshot from the desktop version of ‘Navionics’. It’s the nautical navigation app that I use. Here is the website. www.navionics.com/usa/. The mobile app basically lets you put on you draft, cruising speed, etc and then just set your start and end point and it will generate the fastest route.
