Had this one rolling around in my head the past few days, so I figured I'd sit down and cover it last night just for fun. great classic Scorpions tune, and probably my favorite track of theirs. One of the absolute greatest hard rock riffs of all time.
I did a half assed tutorial for this one about a year ago, so I figured that I'd re-visit it and do a proper tutorial later on today.

This is 1 of my top 5 songs to crank up the volume! There is a cool video of Marthias and Rudolph talking and playing The Zoo. I saw the Scorps with Winger in Germany when I was in the Army. Intense guitar skills the entire time! Thanks for putting up this channel it is motivating me to play more.

I've been playing this song as my tuning song for a decade and for some reason I never thought to play the dyads on the A and D strings (I've been playing it on the D and G.) I've been overcomplicating this song for so long... Bravo and thank you.

@@pantherax1 It's two different notes struck at the same time, like a power chord. A regular G major, is a triad, three notes sounding at the same time.
While keeping the pulse on the E, Kelly is playing minor and major dyads in between.

KDA...I got into the Scorpions with Lovedrive, Animal Magnitism then Black Out... I wore those records out...of course I played all that stuff wrong...but, hey I was just a kid....what great stuff...great work as always my brother!!!!!

There are 2 Jimmy Page songs Not covered on RUclips, Smile on Me and Puzzles, both from his pre Zeppelin days with the Yardbirds. You are a huge Page fan and have the chops, consider covering them for the viewing audience. Thanks
