If you a true head, you understand how dope that is, period. If you just a guest in this house, then obviously you don't get it.
Got a pair for my dad since the resell isn’t to bad right now. He’s going to be so happy with an og color way and the story and theme behind this pair makes it a lot of fun
I love this black toe Reimagined, the replacement of wing logo with Air Jordan shows " the OG " . Must cop especially you don't have the previous black toe.
Love this pair and the origin story. Collectors like us collect and this is definitely one that will be added. The addition of the "Air Jordan" branding vs the "Wings" logo is a nice touch. The packaging and the addition of the signature on the the ankle collar is super dope. How can you not love this?? I love my Lost & Founds and my Reimagined Cement 3s so I'm not mad at these at all. Me too! First pair of Jordan's I bought before I even knew about any other Jordan models. I saw them at the mall one day and picked them up. It jumpstarted the whole sneaker hobby for me.
I think they really missed the mark not making these 85 cut. I love how the red and black leather has the more matte finish kind of like the 85’s. But that “OG” shape just looks goofy to me by comparison.
The black toes are my favorite Jordan 1's. I have both the 2013 and 2016 pairs deadstock. I was disappointed with Nike pushing these back to 2025 so I was fortunate to get a pair of these for a little over retail but will definitely cop another pair on release day. As a og at 54 I am cool with the AIR JORDAN text and the black tongues. Great video and review.👍
I agree I like the wings better, but the face that there suppose to be a prototype is what makes them dope. If your a sneaker head you have to appreciate the story if not you were always just a hype beast!

Would you say the leather quality is on par with the AJ1 low OG Black Toes that dropped earlier this year? Maybe even the mocha lows? Or closer to GR releases such as the midnight navys. I like it. I copped them a lil over retail. I'll probably cop again on release. I get all the '85 style frustrations... but the air jordan overthe wings gets a pass. He's literally in a picture with them...

We already reviewing 2025 pairs.😂 Also since these were finally getting the original sample mj had on court and on the promo art they should be an 85 cut because high 85s are usually for ogs and unreleased samples if im not mistaken. Huge missed opportunity.

for me these are a miss. I dont like the V2 Jordan 1s as much as the V1 cut, I prefer the white tongue Black Toes and I cant stand that sail midsole on this colourway and for that reason I prefer the recent lows that dropped.
I don't love the AIR JORDAN text on the collar. I get the reference and love that they're using the history to give us something different, but it looks unfinished or bootleg (in a bad way) to me. I'm probably going to pass on these, especially since I have the Black Toe Lows.
