I have a generic Bach Strad 37.... earlier this summer getting my first Lotus mpc, that was the first thing I noticed - the wiggling! After being more confident about pushing it straight in, then twisting it firmly, it has never shook ever again lol. I just pulled my mouthpiece up, as Adam demonstrates, and it lifts the whole horn off the stand, hahahaha. Great to know I was doing this right.
After it becomes stuck, support the receiver to the stays, do not twist and use a brittle plastic hammer to tap rapidly on the end of the receiver while pulling gently.
Dude! I'm returning mine to Milano Music. It doesn't fit in my receiver. There's no amount of shoving it in that's not going to keep it from rattling around in there. Trust me. What, do you want me to step on the thing? It doesn't fit in my horn. I've got fifteen mouthpiece from all kinds of different brands, and they all fit perfectly into my horn. You know why? It's because they're trumpet mouthpieces, and I play trumpet. What kind of trumpet mouthpiece doesn't fit into a trumpet? Not happy

Until the end of the video I was afraid that the trumpet might fall 😅
Thanks. It was same "issue" with me I tried twisting it and playing even changed a bit

Cant believe some people have to be taught again how to put a mouthpiece in again🤣
I’ve got an old Elkhart Strad (1972ish) and my Gen 2 piece shanks perfectly. Do the Gen 3 pieces have a similar fit? Maybe I just got lucky haha.
They sure do!
Great, thanks for the reply! That was the last question I had before I ordered!@@lotustrumpets6739
Thanks. 7L is the I use now. Might switch to 10L soon.
Es cierto, si miras uno de sus videos antiguos probando boquillas monette, veras que las coloca de la misma forma.
I have to be really violent with the piece to not wiggle, but it works now:)
Man the new gold coating is un real amazing. Perfect snug hold and honestly does not really mark up. I will never play with a different brand again.
So happy to hear you like it!
Me encantaría ser parte de su marca
Y probar algunos de sus magníficos productos y conocer al gran Adam rapa
Please
TWIST!!😎🎺
Silver? You' re doing silver again?
I was thinking the same thing!
Not yet!
@@lotustrumpets6739 aw
@lotustrumpets6739 as someone in marching, I prefer the silver coating, but the mouthpieces are great either way!

Monette makes some that only fit large receivers
Please feel free to send us an email, more than happy to discuss this with you! mouthpieces@lotustrumpets.com -Troy
