Every single scene in Banana Fish was so powerful and meaningful. I just now realized after a few years this show brought so much different kind of emotion.
I wanna point out Jessica because she isn’t some background character. I felt more sympathy towards her as she showed Max more affection and tried to get to know Ash’s past. If anything she also had a look of worry but also realization when she saw Ash push away Cain’s hand. It’s not too much of a big deal but there aren’t any female characters that had as much development like her
When she was briefly a hostage in LA she was r-worded by several of the men there. She recognized the signs. That's why later she asks him "how do you get over it so fast? It took me six months to get back on my feet" and he says "if I'd taken that long to heal from anything I'd be dead". I would not wish that on her for development but I agree, she came out of this series a badass you can respect and love
I feel ash, the only person who could’ve touched me while having a panic attack is my sister she would hug me and then my body will gradually stop shaking :( eiji is so pure ah

I love eijis compassion and pure care for Ash.romantic feelings aside,I genuinely love how much eiji shows his pure and honest kindness to Ash.it is so beautiful to watch and almost heartbreaking.with my whole soul I wished that Ash and eiji had met in more happy circumstances and stayed friends for life.ash is so fragile in every part of him and his life its amazing to see him let in eiji who can wash away all his hurt hate pain and fear without asking for a single thing in return

Guys ash is alive...in a chart posted my mappa officially...it showed how different characters were linked with eachother and those dead were grayed out and in the first upload ash was gray but it was re uploaded and ash was in colour
