I was about to give up because nothing was happening. But suddenly an entrance appeared! Then two guys (or monsters?) started shooting at me. I fell down all the way to the ground. I don't know how you follow the ceiling horizontally. I used Cheat Engine for infinite levitation ability. And about the wall on the far West side: I climbed for 15 minutes with infinite levitation. After some height, the game play became slower and slower. It was lagging when I shoot the wall. Finally the game crashed after some height.
There's a secret straight above the central floating island if you just keep flying upwards. It's a dark red cloud biome with weird crystals and lava monsters.
Thanks for all the info! I climbed the left wall on stream for a long time and then gave up and levitated over to the right (someone had told me there is a biome in the sky called “The Work”) and the game slowed down to like 2 FPS and then the entire Steam client bootstrapper crashed, heh. Probably because it couldn’t handle all the calculations for pixels I had uncovered by climbing the wall for like 30 minutes.

That is why jimping through portals doesmt reroll spells on the other biome,all spells and wands are generated the first time u load in,you computer is actually loading in all 10 levels.
It's amazing that we've come from "what secrets does this enormous world have for us" to "It's been 3 years and we still don't understand this eye mural". There's something really special about Noita. I hate it as much as I love it.
Found another spell today, called "Nuke". It is quite literally a nuclear missile. It's actually looks like it contains the earthquake spell animation, but it also amplifies the area of impact like 10x. It's insane. I found it by going all the way to the right in the Ice biome and then from the Orb room that is over there, continuing to go more to the right. Eventually the red bottom drops off and its just a huge open area. As you drop down into the emptiness, about half way down you hear the Orb of Knowledge sound. This orb was actually hidden in the red impenetrable rock, on the left side. I used the Black hole orb spell that destroys all materials to get through. It was fairly well hidden, and it had tablet number 3 next to it. And then another secret I found, further down into the biomes, I got into the foresty biome. And again go right as far as I can, until I hit the red brick wall. Then i went down for a bit and there was actually an opening into the red rock. As I entered it, the title card came up saying "You Have Entered Dragon Cave" and there was a gigantic egg in the middle of the room. Absolutely massive. It didn't seem to do anything, but I decided to try and use my blackhole orb to crack down the middle of it. And when I did that, it suddenly hatched a massive firey worm dragon thing. When I killed it, it dropped a wand. So that was pretty neat. Basically what it seems like, is each biome has a special area to the right or left of them if you travel far enough, instead of going straight down to get to the teleporter.
You know... I get this was released a long while ago, when the water flask wasn't a starting item, but with anything that turns lava to rock, it's extremely easy to cross directly from the mines to the orb room.
I made this video 4 days after the game came out so, yeah, there was a lot of unknowns at the time. I'm also replying to a 7-month old comment to illustrate a point, lol. I hope you're having a good day!
You can actually get to the orb room across the lava pit from the surface. I did. There will be monsters to fight and you can get in and out without fighting the orb monster at the bridge
I've explored almost as much of the map as I think I could, and it seems like the game actually spawns all the area's spread around the map, and quarantines them off with that red impassable dirt. I'll try to explain this if I can, but I don't know if it will make sense. But as you get down to the bottom of the first area (Mine) you go into the teleporter thingy. And that doesn't actually teleport you "Lower" necessarily, but more like it teleports you to another place on the map into the next biome. It's a trick. And as you get to the bottom of that biome and teleport again, it takes you to another area of the map. And they section off these area's with that red impassable dirt. I figured this out when I got into like the 4th area and decided to try and travel up. I was in the pyramid and it actually has a door that opens out to the surface. The giant impassable tree to the left of the spawn area, if you manage to get past/over it, it leads to a snowy surface biome. I think it was called the Snowy Wastelands. But oddly enough, the 2nd biome I teleported into after the mines, was the Ice level. So when I dug through the surface of the snowy wasteland, I ended up running back into the area I had already been in the snowy level. It's really interesting how they decided to build the world.
every level isnt loaded. they load asynchronously off-screen based on character vicinity to give the illusion of a single, always active world. In reality that detail only matters for the computer, and not so much the player. But the entire world is not loaded at the same time.
@@megamech2268 Actually, I'd don't think it has to do directly with the egg, I think they just spawn in after you reach a certain height in that particular area.
It's so awesome watching people obtain items, complete objective, etc. using methods that are different than the ones I used! For the Orb and Text within the floating island on top of the mountain, for example.. I simply shot a hole diagonally up into the bottom of the island and flew up there from the mountain summit. Holding the levitate button from start to finish will not let you reach the floating island from the mountain summit using my diagonal hole method, however - to fly up slightly higher, you will have to hold the levitate button down for only about 1/4th of a second, then let go of the levitate button for 1/4th of a second.. and repeat. This conserves levitating power buy using the small amount of momentum gained after releasing the levitate button to climb up to slightly higher altitudes.
i absolutely love even just the idea of these huge secrets in games that are just enough out of reach that people could play the game for many hours and still not notice them. they add just that extra feeling of venturing into the unknown "out of bounds" areas of the game
Well this game is absolutely FULL of secret content of all kinds. Some of which can only be found when trying very crazy things that most people will never even know about...and the game is in active early-access development and the devs are constantly adding more of this secret content.

I haven't explored left of the big tree yet ...^^ But I have some stuff to share ^^... 1 - Water on Lava solidifies and make walkable easy.. 2 - to Dry a lake, just hold down inside any point of the lake(prefeably margin to not drown) 3 - There are an Amazing(for me) weapon that blow terrain easy whitou hurt yourself, is the energy orb with a trigger (mana drain 50), and u can become Very Rich Easily on 2nd down floor(after first portal) destroing entire map and getting the gold inner terrain, I got more than 3k ^^ 4 - if u shot this "black hole" weapon inside the "shop area" after the portal(u know?!), then u will provoke the wrath of the gods, and a IMPOSSIBLE skull whit energy shield will hunt u ^^ ...sorry for the english..

If you get low gravity + concentrated spells you can use a fast firing wand as a jet pack and if you go high up above the mountain you can reach a place called "the work" The dificulty there is insane tho.
you can reach a biome called "the work" with some really powerful monsters by flying REALLY high up (using teleport and the wall in the left, climbing for like 10 minutes, and then using teleport to the left for some minutes)
a few tips or extra ideas to get through terrain, any kind of drill is an excellent tool, additionally, if you add a freezing effect to a drill, you can turn water to ice and then drill through the ice which is handy if you cant breathe underwater
Also, when I did one of the daily runs, I got a wand that casts a rain storm. So I got the idea, like in terraria, to use that rain over the giant lava pit. And it works just like in terraria when the water hits the lava, it creates a solid stone surface you can walk on and get over the lava pit. There was an orb of knowledge on the other side of it that taught me the "Necromancy Spell". The spell when put on a wand, allows whatever creature the wand killed, to be reanimated and fight for you. And then I also found another orb of knowledge at the bottom of the desert biome. When i got to the surface through the pyramid, I went all the way right on the map as far as I could, until I hit the end wall. Then i burrowed down as far as I could go until I hit the red impassable dirt that sections off each biome. When I went to the left I ended up eventually finding an orb room, and this spell I found was called Earthquake. And OMG it's an unbelievably destructive spell. It literally causes the entire screens worth of land/debris to crack into pieces and shatter like an earthquake. It quite literally destroys everything. There's a few more biome's I found and I did get to the end, but I don't want to spoil that for you. I forgot to count how many it was total, but I think it was 6-8 different levels you go through and then there is an End boss. That's all I will say unless you ask for more detailed info about the biomes/levels.
@@Tacticaviator7 yeah exactly. The red spell glyphs appear in a giant circle. I think it was showed in the trailer too if I remember correctly. I haven't encountered an enemy that has it as a spell in their wand, but I think the developers use the Earthquake animation as you exit the "Temple" each time to make it impossible to go back into. Well unless you have one of the really destructive spells to destroy blocks
@@Tacticaviator7 yeah, and if you accidentally destroy the Altar that has the perks on it, it "Angers the Gods" and summons a super strong devil spirit that will be in the temple everytime you get to a new biome. If you manage to kill him he drops a buttload of gold, but he never goes away permanently. Kinda like the shopkeepers in Spelunky when you shoot one of them.
If you want to get to the place with the first orb more easily, head to the right at the beginning cave, and fly over the lava lake while spraying your water onto it to make rock for more flying. Then jump down the pit and hold right until you get to the wall.
Oh btw you can actually get through that strange wall. And it will put you into an "East" version of the biomes and even of the mines. However the secrets seem to be "Corruped"
The egg on the tree branch can go on the altar i think thats what happened anyway, seemed to get lots of gold from it. You can drink all the liquid that doesnt harm you so you dont need breathless You can actually occasionally spawn able to get the lava tome, and if you have a dirt wand or something similar you can bridge over and get the one you had to fly to Stronger levitation also can let you get to the top.
For the Water to the left of the starting area, you can lower the water level significantly by firing a bomb at the bottom. This lowers the height of both the entrance and exit, so you spend sufficiently less time drowning.
Two more secrets, 1. There IS something at the bottom at the lake it takes around 15 minutes to get down. 2. If you use black hole to go past the walls on the sides of the worlds you will find cursed stone. Touching it or air where there was previously cursed stone deals as much dog as acid, but if you keep going you can find parallel universes (in case you want something you didn't get in your run) (P.S.) there is no bottom of the lava lake it works the exact same as the sides of the world
You can get to the lava lake directly from the first mines level - just head as far to the bottom right as possible. Find any bottle on the way there, empty it then find water pool hold down arrow to fill empty bottle with water, then pour the water on the lava - it'll turn to stone and you can cross
I climbed the left wall for a couple hours, it's infinite. You're definitely not supposed to go up there. I jumped and floated right and eventually saw falling particles before the game crashed.
There is a lot more to find in the sky above the mountain, but you have to go really high to get there. Not sure if it actually ends or not, it might go up infinitely. Also there will be powerful monsters, so get ready.
You dont actually need the breathless perk in most places. If you hold down on your movement keys, you can drink the liquid and get the level low enough that you can get through the trees without dying.
lol, thanks, but I actually have been making videos since 4 years before Noita even came out. It's just that I sort-of changed my channel content when Noita came out, so I took a hit to my views and such for awhile before building them back up again.
@@sanghyunum6486 Yes, i see most of the players don't know that. I found it by accident. You just need to push the down button while underwater then you will SLOWLY drain the water. or any other liquids, even Oil.
4.15 at this point if you go up you can find a nest with egg on a branch of the tree, and on this branch if you jump and fire to the top with your wand, a swarm of acid beast appears. Maybe an easter egg ?
FUN FACT: A practical (although slightly longer) method of obtaining the Secretorum Hermetis in the water tunnel under the Giant Tree is to simply drink the water. If you're willing to spend a minute or two drinking water (instead of using limited bomb spells to spread the water thin), this reduces the chances of players drowning.
Bring all four essences to the top of the world (above starting area, you can fight through the underground's sky version) and you can break the moon open. Bring the fifth essence (spirit) and the moon will turn into whiskey as well.
dunno if it's been found yet, but i actually went below the lava lake at the bottom of the world and dug down for a while, it led to some caves with another orb and Emerald Tablet Vol. VIII

I'm pretty sure I've thrown Tabula Smargadina on the altar before and it just turned into gold, as all the other tablets did. I've certainly never seen those enemies spawn because of a tablet. Anyone know what's up with that?
It's completely random. That's the bad part about video: it's permanent, so when things change in the game or I'm wrong about something initially, the video just has to stay as-is. As time goes by and I cover more and more about Noita, I'm sure I'll mention things like this again and update/fix the info that way.
SUPER HEAVY SPILERS IN THIS COMMENT! So Most people probably already know all this by now but it does not seem like you ever did a update video on this, so I’ll do some addendums in this comment. 6:06 The Flying Island: You can fly even higher to get a mirror version of the Normal path you usually go downwards called "The Works". If you go thru all of those you finally arrive at the end (the highest point of this "world" where there is a Moon (made out of cheese). 12:07 The Eastern ???: There is more up there. Deep within the ceiling straight up from the Diamond shaped floating rock there is a giant room of Gold. Its damn hard to access though, you most likely need to morph into a Worm or have a damn lot of Black holes. 15:42 Snow fields Bridge: It actually is not the same final biome you get to via the mines. It’s a copy of that Biome that houses another Orb. 16:20 The Lake to the West: The Lake is not Infinite, it just goes down to nearly the bottom "end". It also has a Orb on the Bottom. Further down there is another giant pile of gold but this time there is also a rather big layer of lava in-between. 18:00 The Wall on the West (The Eastern Wall works the same): The wall is infinite yes, Ir generates till the game crashes BUT if you somehow manage do dig thou the wall (which is a damn thicc wall) you get to a 1 to 1 Copy of the WHOLE Game world minus some unique landmarks (Called the "West World" or Easter if you go that way), those worlds look infinitely until the Game crashes. Other than that there are many Biomes hidden under the Desert or Snow fields. All of this info where compiled by myself thou playing and also a rather big part I found on the Noita Wiki ( noita.gamepedia.com/Noita_Wiki ) If you want to see more of the world the Wiki actually has a full map (with everythign we know for now). If you have enough black hole spells, you can reach 'gold' area by keep going right side of the map (maybe you have to go up little bit). I could not find anything interesting there except everything was gold.
Exactly. I've actually been playing it as a survival game. Instead of going on rogue-lite "runs", I spend hours exploring the entire world. There are MANY secrets and hidden things to figure out.
To answer about the ceiling at ???, with polymorph and carefully levitating onto slight edges you can regen your bar and keep moving. One attempt I had enemies spawn when I was quite high and knock me down but on another climb I didn't and it seems to just eventually become a cliff face that goes up infinitely. Sadly opening OBS crashed Noita so I couldn't capture footage of jumping off.
There is a full heal in the dsrk cave that u need to use to get to the twisty passages area. There exists all the things nessary to leave the first biome with a full 250 health bar
I was inside the mountains and a laser think dig a hole to the other side of the mountain and I gained access to the dessert. That's some well random generation
I climbed past the area all the way to the right. Up there is an underhang, a wall, another underhang, and then an endless wall. Getting up there doesn't even require any polymorphine too.
12:08 From what I've been able to do, I don't think anything is up there. after the ceiling there is another wall to scale, then another ceiling, and then another wall. but that last wall stretches infinitely from what I've seen. I've spent at least 2 hours scaling the wall with nothing. I did have some of those Jetpack gunners spawn as well as those Tank Turrets, and also a bunch of those green grenadier guys who spawned in a wall and died, But I wasn't able to get ANYWHERE after 2 hours of climbing up using nothing but the basic levitation, sparingly using a flask fo Polymorphine and just sheer luck survivng at about 12hp from the encounters of the jetpack guys and the turrets.
When I saw that you can fly and breK stuff I was 100% sure there are different secrets in the starting area however I never thought there are that many.
The dense rock wall at the ???? area, if you follow the ceiling it will continue to go up, to another ceiling, follow that to another climb. I got shot out of the sky by some extra terrestrial looking creatures that were stuck in the next climb
use alchemy to heal or even make gold the recipe is random so experiments are required it always uses three ingredients but once discovered you will be able to make massive vats of the stuff so do not burn coal, oil, beer and gunpowder that you find randomly on the map it could be potential healing and or GOLD you don't need to breath in water you can simply empty the water from the tree with an empty flask and transfer the water some were ells vampirism also helps you heal but I have not experimented to see if you burn in sun light so if you have vampirism wait till night before you go to the surface just to be safe unless you want to confirm if you can actually burn in the sun spark bolt with double trigger is in my opinion the most powerful spell you can dig with it and can fire it rapidly double triggering your double trigger that double triggers isn't half bad the explosions only hurt enemies so no need to hold back in combat (luminous drill if you plan to dig through steal or just splash water to turn it into rust and dig through as if it was dirt) spells that don't require charges to make elements used for alchemy from your wand water, oil, cement, acid, soil, gunpowder arc, mist of spirits, toxic mist, slime mist yes it is 100% possible to forage a wand that heals you and or turns the ground in to GOLD for free (no charges) ruclips.net/video/F4ACao1gOPc/видео.html
if you will start game with a mud potion, you can get over a tree by splashin mud potion on the bark and them jumping onto pixels that stuck. but be wary -- they can unstuck
As both a philosopher and a psychologist, I always found the volume VII tablet to basically roughly translate to an ancient elaborate mythic version of the phrase "git gud", which amused me..
i got a wand with extra recoil, allowing me to fly freely there is a HUGE sky world made of clouds and medium strong monsters. also i checked the right side wall, its the same as the left except the right side wall slightly leans tor-words right same as the left side, it became apparent when i had to move once in a while because the wall got too close or too far away from me when going straight up. the right side has a roof yeah but it goes up after that, but there is like 3 sealing in total for some reason.
You don't need the breathless perk, actually. If you hold down in liquid, you will drink it. Yes, you can drink an entire lakes worth of water if you're patient enough.
I climbed over ??? for a good 10minutes, found nothing, but when I jumped going west I landed in The Works, cloud biome with monsters that is from the biome before the brain boss
The only reason why I went down through the holy mountains was to get the Breathless perk because I **was** going to explore the lake, but then I heard that there was nothing in there anyway, heh.
hey fury in the lava lake i used hacks to go even lower, i found another green paper and a nuke wand power, the explosion radius is about like 125x125 lag to much but can one shot doing 3k damage

I have found a blackhole spell and used to dig through the teleport block, its just a giant block that separates one biome from another

every level isnt loaded. they load asynchronously off-screen based on character vicinity to give the illusion of a single, always active world. In reality that detail only matters for the computer, and not so much the player. But the entire world is not loaded at the same time.

I came across a large egg on a branch above the water where the secret tablet is.. I threw it, it spawned a worm and like 10 green goopy fellas.
"goopy fellas" come when you take the egg. the worm spawns from breaking the egg.
@@megamech2268 Actually, I'd don't think it has to do directly with the egg, I think they just spawn in after you reach a certain height in that particular area.

It's so awesome watching people obtain items, complete objective, etc. using methods that are different than the ones I used!
For the Orb and Text within the floating island on top of the mountain, for example.. I simply shot a hole diagonally up into the bottom of the island and flew up there from the mountain summit.
Holding the levitate button from start to finish will not let you reach the floating island from the mountain summit using my diagonal hole method, however - to fly up slightly higher, you will have to hold the levitate button down for only about 1/4th of a second, then let go of the levitate button for 1/4th of a second.. and repeat. This conserves levitating power buy using the small amount of momentum gained after releasing the levitate button to climb up to slightly higher altitudes.
i absolutely love even just the idea of these huge secrets in games that are just enough out of reach that people could play the game for many hours and still not notice them. they add just that extra feeling of venturing into the unknown "out of bounds" areas of the game
Well this game is absolutely FULL of secret content of all kinds. Some of which can only be found when trying very crazy things that most people will never even know about...and the game is in active early-access development and the devs are constantly adding more of this secret content.

1 - Water on Lava solidifies and make walkable easy..
2 - to Dry a lake, just hold down inside any point of the lake(prefeably margin to not drown)
3 - There are an Amazing(for me) weapon that blow terrain easy whitou hurt yourself, is the energy orb with a trigger (mana drain 50), and u can become Very Rich Easily on 2nd down floor(after first portal) destroing entire map and getting the gold inner terrain, I got more than 3k ^^
4 - if u shot this "black hole" weapon inside the "shop area" after the portal(u know?!), then u will provoke the wrath of the gods, and a IMPOSSIBLE skull whit energy shield will hunt u ^^

The creature isn't immortal, its just extremely powerful, its kinda like one of the elemental wraiths

I really hoped those tablets would somehow heal me. They didn't. They instead landed in lava.
If you get low gravity + concentrated spells you can use a fast firing wand as a jet pack and if you go high up above the mountain you can reach a place called "the work"
The dificulty there is insane tho.
you can reach a biome called "the work" with some really powerful monsters by flying REALLY high up (using teleport and the wall in the left, climbing for like 10 minutes, and then using teleport to the left for some minutes)
There are actually 3 different "The Works" in different places in the world. I'm working on a video covering this right now :)

a few tips or extra ideas to get through terrain, any kind of drill is an excellent tool, additionally, if you add a freezing effect to a drill, you can turn water to ice and then drill through the ice which is handy if you cant breathe underwater
The lake does have an end, it's pretty close to Hell actually and the bottom of the map is just lava
Also, when I did one of the daily runs, I got a wand that casts a rain storm. So I got the idea, like in terraria, to use that rain over the giant lava pit. And it works just like in terraria when the water hits the lava, it creates a solid stone surface you can walk on and get over the lava pit. There was an orb of knowledge on the other side of it that taught me the "Necromancy Spell". The spell when put on a wand, allows whatever creature the wand killed, to be reanimated and fight for you. And then I also found another orb of knowledge at the bottom of the desert biome. When i got to the surface through the pyramid, I went all the way right on the map as far as I could, until I hit the end wall. Then i burrowed down as far as I could go until I hit the red impassable dirt that sections off each biome. When I went to the left I ended up eventually finding an orb room, and this spell I found was called Earthquake. And OMG it's an unbelievably destructive spell. It literally causes the entire screens worth of land/debris to crack into pieces and shatter like an earthquake. It quite literally destroys everything. There's a few more biome's I found and I did get to the end, but I don't want to spoil that for you. I forgot to count how many it was total, but I think it was 6-8 different levels you go through and then there is an End boss. That's all I will say unless you ask for more detailed info about the biomes/levels.
Earthquake spell is the one that makes a Red circle before shattering everything right? Met an enemy in the 5th level with that spell and it was hell.
@@Tacticaviator7 yeah exactly. The red spell glyphs appear in a giant circle. I think it was showed in the trailer too if I remember correctly. I haven't encountered an enemy that has it as a spell in their wand, but I think the developers use the Earthquake animation as you exit the "Temple" each time to make it impossible to go back into. Well unless you have one of the really destructive spells to destroy blocks
@@aSinisterKiid Sometimes the blocks won't even block the temple but I remember if you go inside the temple after exiting it will deal damage to you.
@@Tacticaviator7 yeah, and if you accidentally destroy the Altar that has the perks on it, it "Angers the Gods" and summons a super strong devil spirit that will be in the temple everytime you get to a new biome. If you manage to kill him he drops a buttload of gold, but he never goes away permanently. Kinda like the shopkeepers in Spelunky when you shoot one of them.

If you want to get to the place with the first orb more easily, head to the right at the beginning cave, and fly over the lava lake while spraying your water onto it to make rock for more flying. Then jump down the pit and hold right until you get to the wall.
Oh btw you can actually get through that strange wall. And it will put you into an "East" version of the biomes and even of the mines.
However the secrets seem to be "Corruped"

"Get lucky or become a sheep" being the only ways to progress here feels like a very deliberate symbol from the devs.
The egg on the tree branch can go on the altar i think thats what happened anyway, seemed to get lots of gold from it.
You can drink all the liquid that doesnt harm you so you dont need breathless
You can actually occasionally spawn able to get the lava tome, and if you have a dirt wand or something similar you can bridge over and get the one you had to fly to
Stronger levitation also can let you get to the top.
For the Water to the left of the starting area, you can lower the water level significantly by firing a bomb at the bottom. This lowers the height of both the entrance and exit, so you spend sufficiently less time drowning.
Two more secrets, 1. There IS something at the bottom at the lake it takes around 15 minutes to get down. 2. If you use black hole to go past the walls on the sides of the worlds you will find cursed stone. Touching it or air where there was previously cursed stone deals as much dog as acid, but if you keep going you can find parallel universes (in case you want something you didn't get in your run) (P.S.) there is no bottom of the lava lake it works the exact same as the sides of the world
If you visit the tree and continue UP, you'll reach the weird cloud beasts.

You can get to the lava lake directly from the first mines level - just head as far to the bottom right as possible. Find any bottle on the way there, empty it then find water pool hold down arrow to fill empty bottle with water, then pour the water on the lava - it'll turn to stone and you can cross

I climbed the left wall for a couple hours, it's infinite. You're definitely not supposed to go up there. I jumped and floated right and eventually saw falling particles before the game crashed.
There is a lot more to find in the sky above the mountain, but you have to go really high to get there.
Not sure if it actually ends or not, it might go up infinitely. Also there will be powerful monsters, so get ready.
It does end eventually...and there is a moon up there. I'll be doing another video showcasing it after I do the next one, which is on alchemy.

You dont actually need the breathless perk in most places. If you hold down on your movement keys, you can drink the liquid and get the level low enough that you can get through the trees without dying.

lol, thanks, but I actually have been making videos since 4 years before Noita even came out. It's just that I sort-of changed my channel content when Noita came out, so I took a hit to my views and such for awhile before building them back up again.
That pronounciation of noita was actually pretty good. And i am Finnish.

@@sanghyunum6486 Yes, i see most of the players don't know that. I found it by accident. You just need to push the down button while underwater then you will SLOWLY drain the water. or any other liquids, even Oil.
4.15 at this point if you go up you can find a nest with egg
on a branch of the tree, and on this branch if you jump and fire to the top with your wand, a swarm of acid beast appears.
Maybe an easter egg ?
FUN FACT: A practical (although slightly longer) method of obtaining the Secretorum Hermetis in the water tunnel under the Giant Tree is to simply drink the water.
If you're willing to spend a minute or two drinking water (instead of using limited bomb spells to spread the water thin), this reduces the chances of players drowning.
Bring all four essences to the top of the world (above starting area, you can fight through the underground's sky version) and you can break the moon open. Bring the fifth essence (spirit) and the moon will turn into whiskey as well.
dunno if it's been found yet, but i actually went below the lava lake at the bottom of the world and dug down for a while, it led to some caves with another orb and Emerald Tablet Vol. VIII
Yup, that's the lower Work, otherwise known as Hell. Keep in mind that this video was made only 2 days after the game entered early access over a year ago :D

I'm pretty sure I've thrown Tabula Smargadina on the altar before and it just turned into gold, as all the other tablets did. I've certainly never seen those enemies spawn because of a tablet. Anyone know what's up with that?
It's completely random. That's the bad part about video: it's permanent, so when things change in the game or I'm wrong about something initially, the video just has to stay as-is. As time goes by and I cover more and more about Noita, I'm sure I'll mention things like this again and update/fix the info that way.

So Most people probably already know all this by now but it does not seem like you ever did a update video on this, so I’ll do some addendums in this comment.
6:06 The Flying Island: You can fly even higher to get a mirror version of the Normal path you usually go downwards called "The Works". If you go thru all of those you finally arrive at the end (the highest point of this "world" where there is a Moon (made out of cheese).
12:07 The Eastern ???: There is more up there. Deep within the ceiling straight up from the Diamond shaped floating rock there is a giant room of Gold. Its damn hard to access though, you most likely need to morph into a Worm or have a damn lot of Black holes.
15:42 Snow fields Bridge: It actually is not the same final biome you get to via the mines. It’s a copy of that Biome that houses another Orb.
16:20 The Lake to the West: The Lake is not Infinite, it just goes down to nearly the bottom "end". It also has a Orb on the Bottom. Further down there is another giant pile of gold but this time there is also a rather big layer of lava in-between.
18:00 The Wall on the West (The Eastern Wall works the same): The wall is infinite yes, Ir generates till the game crashes BUT if you somehow manage do dig thou the wall (which is a damn thicc wall) you get to a 1 to 1 Copy of the WHOLE Game world minus some unique landmarks (Called the "West World" or Easter if you go that way), those worlds look infinitely until the Game crashes.
Other than that there are many Biomes hidden under the Desert or Snow fields.

If you don't have breathless, you can drop a bomb or two into bottom of the water at 4:45 and lower the water level enough that you won't need it.
If you have enough black hole spells, you can reach 'gold' area by keep going right side of the map (maybe you have to go up little bit). I could not find anything interesting there except everything was gold.

Exactly. I've actually been playing it as a survival game. Instead of going on rogue-lite "runs", I spend hours exploring the entire world. There are MANY secrets and hidden things to figure out.

To answer about the ceiling at ???, with polymorph and carefully levitating onto slight edges you can regen your bar and keep moving. One attempt I had enemies spawn when I was quite high and knock me down but on another climb I didn't and it seems to just eventually become a cliff face that goes up infinitely. Sadly opening OBS crashed Noita so I couldn't capture footage of jumping off.
You can drink the water by holding movement down while standing somewhere, so eventually you could get through the drowning area.
You can actually dig through the red walls on the borders of the map and both of them will lead somewhere. I wont tell where though.
There is a full heal in the dsrk cave that u need to use to get to the twisty passages area. There exists all the things nessary to leave the first biome with a full 250 health bar

Up there is an underhang, a wall, another underhang, and then an endless wall.
Getting up there doesn't even require any polymorphine too.

Hello there, I am from the chaotic future known as *2021* and I would like to say that there are technically eleven deserts
Way up above the starting area where the floating altar is, you can find The Works, which also the same as the last area of the game
Like a fool I assumed that you couldn't go past the tree.
12:08 From what I've been able to do, I don't think anything is up there. after the ceiling there is another wall to scale, then another ceiling, and then another wall. but that last wall stretches infinitely from what I've seen. I've spent at least 2 hours scaling the wall with nothing. I did have some of those Jetpack gunners spawn as well as those Tank Turrets, and also a bunch of those green grenadier guys who spawned in a wall and died, But I wasn't able to get ANYWHERE after 2 hours of climbing up using nothing but the basic levitation, sparingly using a flask fo Polymorphine and just sheer luck survivng at about 12hp from the encounters of the jetpack guys and the turrets.
When I saw that you can fly and breK stuff I was 100% sure there are different secrets in the starting area however I never thought there are that many.
The dense rock wall at the ???? area, if you follow the ceiling it will continue to go up, to another ceiling, follow that to another climb. I got shot out of the sky by some extra terrestrial looking creatures that were stuck in the next climb
you can make it across that gap with your normal levitation if you use it properly
use alchemy to heal or even make gold
the recipe is random so experiments are required
it always uses three ingredients
but once discovered you will be able to make massive vats of the stuff
so do not burn coal, oil, beer and gunpowder that you find randomly on the map
it could be potential healing and or GOLD
you don't need to breath in water
you can simply empty the water from the tree with an empty flask and transfer the water some were ells
vampirism also helps you heal but I have not experimented to see if you burn in sun light
so if you have vampirism wait till night before you go to the surface just to be safe
unless you want to confirm if you can actually burn in the sun
spark bolt with double trigger is in my opinion the most powerful spell
you can dig with it and can fire it rapidly
double triggering your double trigger that double triggers isn't half bad
the explosions only hurt enemies so no need to hold back in combat
(luminous drill if you plan to dig through steal or just splash water to turn it into rust and dig through as if it was dirt)
spells that don't require charges to make elements used for alchemy from your wand
water, oil, cement, acid, soil, gunpowder arc, mist of spirits, toxic mist, slime mist
yes it is 100% possible to forage a wand that heals you and or turns the ground in to GOLD for free (no charges)

if you will start game with a mud potion, you can get over a tree by splashin mud potion on the bark and them jumping onto pixels that stuck. but be wary -- they can unstuck

As both a philosopher and a psychologist, I always found the volume VII tablet to basically roughly translate to an ancient elaborate mythic version of the phrase "git gud", which amused me..
i got a wand with extra recoil, allowing me to fly freely there is a HUGE sky world made of clouds and medium strong monsters. also i checked the right side wall, its the same as the left except the right side wall slightly leans tor-words right same as the left side, it became apparent when i had to move once in a while because the wall got too close or too far away from me when going straight up. the right side has a roof yeah but it goes up after that, but there is like 3 sealing in total for some reason.
There's also a spell that creates a healing circle.
You don't need the breathless perk, actually. If you hold down in liquid, you will drink it. Yes, you can drink an entire lakes worth of water if you're patient enough.
I climbed over ??? for a good 10minutes, found nothing, but when I jumped going west I landed in The Works, cloud biome with monsters that is from the biome before the brain boss
I usually get a flask and fill it with water then pour the water on the lava in the first mines so you don't have to go all the way to the 3rd floor.
The only reason why I went down through the holy mountains was to get the Breathless perk because I **was** going to explore the lake, but then I heard that there was nothing in there anyway, heh.
I remember on one of my first runs I did some exploring and found the essence of light
hey fury in the lava lake i used hacks to go even lower, i found another green paper and a nuke wand power, the explosion radius is about like 125x125 lag to much but can one shot doing 3k damage
I've found the nuke spell in shops.
