I worked for Grossman Motors in West Nyack, NY in the late 70s, a Porsche, Audi, Maserati Dealership. Bob Grossman was a retired race car driver by that time. The rarest car I ever drove was a black Maserati Ghibli convertible to get tires for the customer. I was 19 and worked the parts dep't, washed cars or drove them to get tires. I also remember driving a Citroen with hydraulic suspension and some of the earliest XJ12 Jaguars. It was fun while it lasted.

And the GT40 wasn’t sprayed green for the Bullitt movie. That was a Ford Mustang. And the car used to film the Le Mans movie was a Porsche 908 with cutouts for cameras in the front and in the rear; the pictures are easily found on the internet. 😂😂😂😂😂

They show so many different cars when they are talking about one, if you don't know cars you won't know which of the cars they are showing is the one they are talking about. It's confusing.

I like checking out all the cars in the background during the chase scene, there are several cars they use over and over in the background going up and down the hills. I remember a beetle and a tempest are in several shots. They crunch the chargers fender going around a curve, then in the next scene the dent is gone.
The video does not match the audio. Most of what was said about the GT40 showed a Porsche 917.
Here's some advice. When you're talking about how much old thing cost back in the day, use the currency used back in the day. Although, even as a member of the EU, the UK never used the Euro....

That is hp, as in horse power. That is way British then rated car engines for road tax. I owned a 1947, Vauxhall 12. It was a 1.6 litre, 6 cylinder, four door sedan of some sophistication.

I'm disappointed that the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale wasn't covered. Considering it is arguably the first super car. I agree about the gt40 part being ridiculous, half of the camera shots of the gt40 weren't even a gt40. They were of the Porsche you showed 2 cars later that had same paint job. Also.....I can't beleive there wasn't a McLaren anywhere in this list.

I have a citroen c4 Cactus. This is the highest value i ever ever had in a car. Even better than the Mini Cooper Works i had before. The price for that superb 115 HP version of a wondercar, with all that a customer could have for the intirior - that is even better than that of a rolls royce was 14.8 Million or so. I could not believe so many of that high priced cars are still around. 14.8 Million or was it 14800€? I can't remember but i am shure that people not laughting at me they smile with me^^

My car - a 1930 Morris Oxford Six with a fabric body. Although other saloons exist, the fabric body would now probably be unique Worldwide. It remains in good condition and was known to be restored bodly, in the early 1960s. I have owned it since 1972.

A all electric (EV)is 100% electric with no gas engine. Plug-in (PHEV) also has a gas engine. PHEV’S have a much smaller electric range then a EV. It also has a gas engine as a back up after electric range has been depleted good for usually another 300 to 400 miles approx
