Definitely like the extension. With the right camera height and some editing, can definitely shoot across the layout and have the scene depth.
thank you for detailed video as great watching all time
Looking great can’t wait for more
Nothing better then hand laid ties and rail. ❤️ Looking great.
Watching your progress saves me from having to do any modeling...
Get to work!
@@tracksidescenery I've been doing some stuff here and there...I handlaid some On30 track with tie strips from up north...I think they were cut from petrified wood...not at all like the ones I had used before in O scale...
Nicely done.
I like where you're going with it👍👍
Look’n good, I think the mine at the other other end is the best spot. The new peninsula looks great and I like the town and industries plan for in that town. You could name the new peninsula “Dorene”, after all she does put up with you stealing her school caulk, and your attempt at using the blender for grinding ground cover (real dirt from the yard). I have a town on mine named after my wife, it’s called St Therese, after 42 years of putting up with me she’s, shes earns St hood.
You could call the mining town “No Name City”, we will see if anyone gets the movie reference. Keep up the great job, I’m looking forward the next video.
Enjoy
Robert
Doreen is too spoiled as it is!

Very nice work. You made hand laying track look very simple to do.
Looks great. You might think about trimming the left front corner to give you guys a little more room coming in from the hallway. Nice job on the hand laying and using the already curved track.
I like it
Missed the sound effects on the new slide table. Great job Joey!
Ha, yeah I forgot. I'll have to come up with a coal dumper sound as well.
Nice work!
Man, you put a lot more switching activity into that little addition, awesome work. But the transfer table must be malfunctioning. It didn't make any noise. 🤔
Nice looking ties wish I thought of that all my track is in place now
So glad you ended up with O!
I used to have a lot in a few scales, but have scaled back over the years. Once you get into O Scale with the detail, it's hard to go back.
Looks very nice!! Specially like the "on the fly" planning principle. Much more fun then planning for months and then realize it doesn't fit.
Exactly! Although I can draw up a track plan, it is more fun having a basic idea and then growing it from there.
Sure, it always starts with some kind of seed, right..
Nice transfer table. I was initially wondering if this was S-scale until I read the comments below. 2-rail O looks so much better than 3-rail O.
Don't forget to test out the layout with BIG STEAM....
You have more than enough space to build a return loop if you were to extend the extension out into the open area of the room across from the mountain.
Just sayin’.
I probably will do at least something to have a full loop, even if it is just some temporary track. But, I have to keep focused on what I have for now. ("now" is relative).
Awesome!
