What a lovely way to start my day here in the Blue Ridge Mts. of Virginia...a tour of Italy with Daze of Jordan while I sip on a cup of fresh ginger tea. Thank you Jordan...Shine On!
All Through Your Video, I Caught myself Saying, 'WOW.. WOW.. WOW!!!'.. Again, WOW! Love It!!!!.. Great Job!!!.. Thank You!!!!
Paintings looks flawless and lifelike thank you
CHE BELLO!!!! I was so into the vlog that it caught me off guard when it ended! This is definitely a masterpiece trip, you take us on the unbeaten path where locals go. This is the most authentic view of Italy I have ever seen! All those art pieces were created so long ago, yet the passion and emotion speak as if it was created yesterday. Grazie ancora!!!
Jordan, thank you for the streets, the underground ruins, and Caravaggio and ALL of the paintings. As a Catholic Christian, those paintings, and figures, of Jesus, and Mary and Joseph and the angels mean a lot to me. Really love when you're walking the streets, also. - Deb in NJ
Thanks for showing the underground, gave me a feeling for the tough conditions they worked under. Little light or Windows and a dungeon like atmosphere. Enjoyed the amazing artwork as well! Thanks Jordan for brightening my day
Thank you Jordan, I just relive my visits to Napoli and I still get emotional and humble to see the beautiful paintings of M.Caravaggio.
Jordan loved the underground and the Church the art work was beautiful, the pastry and coffee looked so good, enjoy your trip can't wait to see more.
Yeehaaaa lets do this 🤓 loved yesterday's vlogs now for this one 👍🏻 😊 dude I love your channel ❣
This was totally fascinating, thank you so much for letting us come too ✋🏻😍💌🇬🇧
Wonderful Vlog Jordan thank you for sharing. Your new lenses are fantastic picks up so much detail you can even see the brushstrokes. That pastry looked so yummy. Looks like your having a blast cant wait for tomorrow
Haha I'm from southern Indiana. I grew up riding the Kings Island Viking ship! Can't wait till tomorrows vlog.....I just love all the background info you're giving us!
Absolutely fantastic!! Love all the detail you are capturing with your gear... What a pleasure to watch!! It's like a free tour... Sent you a donation yesterday... Buy a pastry and cafe on me!
Loved the underground.
Thank you for showing us your trip- what a nice way to see Naples from my laptop ❤️
Love the underground city and the artwork amazing
Wow. Thank you, Jordon. Never been to this part of the globe until now. Great work. ❤️🙂
The underground was cool. It reminded me of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. 🙂
Some really beautiful artwork in that museum too.
Very interesting! Fantastic job Jordan!
What a great day, wonderful vlog Jordan! Thanks, really enjoying our trip to Italy!
WOW!!!! amazing just amazing..
Wonderful video. Hope your not hurt from your falls, please be careful, Jah will want his walks resumed upon your return. Can’t wait for next tour!
Loved the tunnels. I'm just enjoying the trip. Thanks Jordan!!
Beautiful painting I’ve always wanted to go to Italy .. if we can only go back in time and have a chance to meet all these great painters ..
Very cool underground. Reminds me of the catacombs we went through underneath Paris. To use the imagination and think of what life must have been like at that time is way cool. Man o man I LOVE HISTORY !!!!
Napoli is definitely a place I wanted to visit so than you for the tour.
I couldn't imagine living under ground. Loved seeing the paintings, and the close up made all the difference. Have fun.
You made me laugh, Jordan when you said that Italians speak very loud. I grew up in a town that was 98% Italian. It is one of the reasons why I speak so loud!! LOL!! But you are right, Italians are some of the nicest people. It's funny you mentioned the Pirate Ship at Kings Island. Been on that exact ship many times at Kings Island. Sounds like you are having a great time!!
Your vlogs are getting more awesome as you go around visiting things. I'm loving everything we see. Glad you have a camera for low light. We were able to see so much more. I'm glad to see you went in places where you can't film. You don't want to miss things just because they won't let you photograph it. Sorry the weather isn't cooperating better. Glad to see you're enjoying the pastries and coffee. I bet they are amazing. I loved the Patreno videos. I think I would have gotten sea sick though. LOL. Did you get Jefferies cousin? Can't wait to see where we go tomorrow. Enjoy yourself.
Definitely.. if you watch when I was in Sweden vlogging the Vasa with my normal camera, and what things look like with the low light.. it's night and day..
I'm working my way to your vlogs from Sweden. I'm sure they're as amazing as the ones we're getting from Italy. You're just amazing at this vloging thing.
Magnificent! !!!❤
Good camera switch ! That was amazing video! Really so interesting. I could really imagine people shopping and working in the underground area. I loved it!!!
Thanks Jordan, have a great day
I didn't fet my notification wahhh! Oh well. Watching now lovw ot!Love these!
This is amazing content Jordan, good job! Love it when you go exploring around the world! Safe travels to you, and thanks for bringing us with you!
Fascinating! I noticed that Italian vandals have little respect for the old architecture. The tagging was really sad to see.
I agree. Very little law in most places
i got’a go to Naples now! Thanks Jordan!
Awesome Jordan! The underground city was very cool! The pastries looked so good! Yes us Italians are very loud and yes we talk with our hands as well. LOL
Beautiful artworks! Loved seeing all of it!
Inspired by your trip my partner bought a book 'Midnight in Sicily' by Peter Robb - whilst I booked a weeks holiday in Sicily- thanks Jordan 🇮🇹
I never knew about the underground, I'll have to learn more about that.
Lovely paintings!
Great tour Jordan! Be safe and have fun!!
WOW! Thank You Jordan! 👏👍👏
another interesting vlog, i am into history big time, so anything you show i really enjoy from across the pond in UK
Thank you for sharing! Wow!
Wow that is crazy cool! I would love to go down there. And I love art. That's exactly what I would want to see there, too.
Hahahahaha I’m loud and I am a 3rd generation Italian American lol! Hahahahaha! I thought it was as combo of the Bronx, and being Italian! Great Video, of where some of my family came from, My home from another time! Beautiful!
Caravaggio and Rembrandt have many things in common. One of the most noted in comparison is the textures and coloring r so similar to be from different times and places but that Caravaggio is slightly brighter and has more clarity. It would be interesting to see them side by side.
THANK YOU JORDAN...
Vampire tunnels! Cool!
Wonderful vlog and the camera work is amazing.
Art, expresso and pastries...I’d be in heaven.
This is great, but how do I see what Jah is up to xxx
Such a good video . Thank you !
wow jordan this is awesome, thank you
Thank you for introducing me to a new artist. He does resemble Rembrandt doesn't he? I'm looking forward to reading about him.
Awesome!!!!
Amazing video, thanks.
All thru our underground walk i was tryna picture the hussle en bustle of life goin on en the aroma at the market en the unfortunate stealing. Gotta shake my head at the scooter bikes whizzing past u as ur walkin en vloging Jordan. Funi weird lol.
wheres all the food? your in fricken Italy, show us all the pizza!
I like this vlog maybe next time go to swizterand during the summer
Wow wow. 😊
Amazing!!
Question.....is it safe at night there?? Plz Be careful Jordan
Yep
The titular seven works/acts of mercy are represented in the painting as follows:
Bury the dead
In the background, two men carry a dead man (of whom only the feet are visible).
Visit the imprisoned, and feed the hungry
On the right, a woman visits an imprisoned man and gives him milk from her breast. This image alludes to the classical story of Roman Charity.
Shelter the homeless
A pilgrim (third from left, as identified by the shell in his hat) asks an innkeeper (at far left) for shelter.
Clothe the naked
St. Martin of Tours, fourth from the left, has torn his robe in half and given it to the naked beggar in the foreground, recalling the saint's popular legend.
Visit the sick
St. Martin greets and comforts the beggar who is a cripple.
Refresh the thirsty
Samson (second from the left) drinks water from the jawbone of an ass
Question... on that museum towards the end of the video where you couldn't take pictures or film, could you tell me the name of it so i can look for a picture of this Christ statue that's so amazing you saw? I'd like to find it...
He was probably talking about the famous "veiled Christ" (Cristo velato in Italian) in the Sansevero Chapel. The chapel alone is one the most beautiful places I've ever been to, filled with magnificent statues and decorations, but the veiled Christ is something so beautiful it left me speechless. Pictures don't do it justice.
Very nice :)
Grew up going to Kings Island! I keep forgetting your from Ohio, lol.
I just Love Europe, it’s so me!! I could live there no doubt, would you ever visit Jerusalem????
WOW
Lens change at 15:34 ? (Color looks different)
I've been to Russia - Ukraine - Germany - Poland and France... In Europe, I think they believe coffee is a desert not a necessity to wake up :-)
❤️👍
❤️
Looks like the Nativity scene with a Baby Jesus and the three Wise Men 2:36
