There’s a strong chance you can be even stronger still as you grow into your forties and enter your fifties. Considering how Sengoku said that the Rocks Pirates members got stronger, and Roger still ended up stalemating with Whitebeard almost a decade after Rocks was defeated that could mean: 1.) Roger was able to defeat Whitebeard with much less difficulty before he went solo. Or two(and what I believe to be the most plausible) 2.) Everyone got stronger and started teaching their true pinnacle strength once they entered their late forties.

Scopper was one of Rogers best men, apparently comparable to Rayleigh, but hadn’t been heard or mentioned since the Rogers Pirates disbanded. VERY interested in knowing what happened to him.
My Theory is that Scopper waits either at L/Roadstar Island or at Laughtale Island. We've seen Crocus at Reverse Mountain and Rayleigh at Sabaody, which are 2 points at the Grandline where every pirate has to pass by to enter the New World. After entering the New World, each crew can choose where they want to sail next. But in the end everyone has to pass by L/Roadstar Island to learn about the Road Poneglyphs or reach Laughtale Island to get the One Piece. I assume they chose their whereabouts to observe the following generations.
Well, in terms of coinage, copper is used in fantasy settings as the lowest value coin. So looking at it in a currency setting rather than a medal system, yes, it is gold, silver copper. Bronze isn't' used in that coin system.

I think that's what being the king of the pirates really means. Being able to go anywhere you want to and do anything you want without any restrictions. When you really look at one piece everyone has some kind of restriction on them no matter their status. I learned what true freedom was by watching Biscuit Oliva from Baki. Oliver is the most free man in the world. He lives a life of luxury in an Arizona prison. And he can leave any time he wants. He's not a criminal. He gets whine, finest cuts of steak, the best brand clothes, watches, cigars and he's got his own personal collection of books inside the prison. He also has the staff of high ranking officials he can call on for assistance if he needs any. And his knowledge is very vast. He can go anywhere at anytime he wants bc he can afford to. He truly is the most free man in the world.

My opinion 1-Luffy 2-doro 3-sanji 4 -brook 5-franky 6-robin ( chopper monter Point) 7-chopper 8-usopp 9-nami I like sanji more than zoro but ... they could be interchangeable and I don’t think monster point could beat Franky he kinda got one shot by pts franky and now that he got The radical beam I don’t know man and usopp got haki now so it kind of put him a little better
I disagree. Sanji would be fucked with out Zoro. Vice versa isn't there for me. Sanji CAN compete but not win with Zoro's future fights. So he is needed. Sanji has a more sought purpose being the cook. but Zoro is the brawler of the crew for sure.
Even more impressive is that when Roger and White Beard clashed, White Beard had gravity and a heavier weapon on his side and Roger still was able to stop his attack. I think if they swung their weapons horizontally, then Roger would have come on top in their collision.
Gravity is clearly nothing to powerhouses like that. Gravity doesn't scale for stronger opponents, but for mass and I doubt that the mass of whitebeards bisento is anything compared to the force that whitebeards is using to swing.
Tekking should make a video on characters that were introduced late in the game but have series-ending implications for the story. Xebec, Imu (or Im), Oden and Toki, etc.

Brook was part of my monster trio until Sanji got his Germa suit. He's now 4th for me cuz he's just mvp, always comin clutch, but yeah maybe Franky has more pure force.
The old man couldn’t be Gaban, that old man roots for the navy in the scenes he’s in and is happy when Whitebeard is dead. No way, no matter how much they fought Gaban would definitely have had a little sad moment remembering one of the greatest fighters in the world who fought his captain.
I always personally saw Usopp as the #4 in the crew in terms of strength. He's the only one of the crew outside the monster trio that knows Haki now as far as we're aware. I wonder if Usopp got a DF as an upgrade to his amazing sniping skills to add damage for his attacks, I don't see how else he'll match up with Auger unless he REALLY gets good haki training in. Also range is a huge thing in combat, yeah Frankie has lasers, but Usopp perfectly took out Sugar across an entire kingdom, I'd put #4 Usopp unless it's just a straight up brawl like with Senor Pink.
Tekking, quick observation that i don't see a lot of people talking about throughout the community. I've noticed that the Roger pirates didn't really disband and "go their separate ways." After they found Laugh Tale, the crew took up strategic positions around the world. Crocus went to the twin capes, the beginning of the grand line. Raleigh went to Sabaody, the halfway point of the grand line. For reasons we are not yet aware of, Oden went back to Wano to open the borders. Shanks went to the east to give the hat to the next person to inherit roger's will, Luffy and inspire him to continue his dream. Then Roger turns himself in, makes his speech and starts the great pirate era, almost CERTAINLY being done on purpose. Buggy may have also played some role in this being the first pirate antagonist for Luffy. Either way, my point is, each of his crewmates and himself took up strategic positions around the world and each of them i believe have their own "role to play," if you will, in guiding the next generation forward. More specifically, they seem like they were ALL there to guide luffy, the carrier of roger's will. Strangely, Scopper Gaban has been absent from the story but I honestly wouldn't doubt it if he's sitting on Lode Star island or waiting for Luffy on Laugh Tale when he arrives. Just an observation and a bit of theory. It's not game changing but i don't really see anyone else talking about it.
Not the worst theory out there,in fact,it's interesting to think about. But rather than the Roger pirates planning this out it seems to be something setup unironically i.e. the will of the author.
I feel like one of my favorite things to look forward to is seeing the Straw Hats *not* round out the story as invincible gods amongst pirates. They just don't have to be, it's the darling nature of this whole tale. The way history doesn't repeat itself and birth perfect gene seed after gene seed is quite brilliant on Oda's part and I appreciate how grounded the core concepts and messages from One Piece are. Now, onto more pressing matters. "And then I'll be Queen of the Pirates!" -Roger
Yeah, i can almost see it, the news guy morgan or whoever he is, declares luffy pirate king because he has managed to pick a fight with kaido big mom and blackbeard, and is still alive, despite never actually beating them.

What I mean is the prime time is behind us in the context of the story, and it's much healthier off that way. Powercreep is gay and leaving the gods of the seas like Roger and Rocks (Locks?) to literal history is the right move storytelling-wise.
When it comes to the "and then I´ll be..." I think both Roger and Luffy said something along the lines of "the person with the most freedom" because thats what Luffy is all about and it would make sense because Roger wants to find the last island so he has the freedom to travel to every place in the world. Also it would make sense why Whitebeard is laughing at it and Oden is so shocked because he always dreamed about bying free to travel the world but probaly didn´t even think in such an big picture like Roger.
You know what I have recently thought of? Is that Law is a member of Sword and has been keeping tabs on Kaido and the overall operation of Smile and Doflamigo and he would be taking after Rocinante.
I like how the marines are scared to attempt a capture on Rayleigh, including showing reluctancy to use 2 admirals. But then think 7 warships is good enough to capture Mihawk.
@David Bury The Marines could at anytime throw 2 admirals at a any pirate and come out solid. They choose not to I guess. They know going after Rayleigh with anything less is pointless. But with Mihawk? 7 boats
They could send in marines to capture Rayleigh but I think they don’t deem it necessary for now as Rayleigh hasn’t really done anything to be known as big threat around in his old age but Mihawk on the other hand should be brought since he does whatever he wants when it pleases him and will cut anyone in half regardless what they are but they should bring in more forces to get him

@David Bury he wasn't fighting to defeat him. He was simply holding him off. He didn't use a single technique of any kind. No named attacks, no ranged attacks, just regular swings. Kizaru was the only one who took damage as well.

In my opinion One piece needs to end after a great war, where everyone who is friends with luffy help out, including of course Reyligh, the remaining white beard pirates, the grand fleet, wano's samurais, etc.

These kinds of movies take forever to come out on DVD, it's not that surprising. Once it's out, it'll be widely available on the internet, so just be patient with the rest of us.
I consider 30-40 the "prime" because you still have peak physical strength and also honed abilities to add to that. It just takes time to master a movement or skills. Below 30 you usually haven't attained that. and Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum "rank" is quite common in asian-style RPGs.
btw, in the official translation it does not say anything about rayleigh and scopper being his "two best men". In the official translation, Roger only says: "I wouldn't want you guys to get hurt". Everyone is taking the scan translation and running with it, but it was a mistranslation!

I agree Rayleigh is not a threat to the world government. Black Beard and Luffy are top priority right now. Luffy literally punched a celestial dragon (even though he deserved it), and started a major prison break on a big Marine stronghold.

Whitebeard had power over earthquakes (tectonic plates) while Akainu had power over what's beneath that. Even more impressive is that when Roger and White Beard clashed, White Beard had gravity and a heavier weapon on his side and Roger still was able to stop his attack. I think if they swung their weapons horizontally, then Roger would have come on top in their collision.

Gravity is clearly nothing to powerhouses like that. Gravity doesn't scale for stronger opponents, but for mass and I doubt that the mass of whitebeards bisento is anything compared to the force that whitebeards is using to swing.

The old man couldn’t be Gaban, that old man roots for the navy in the scenes he’s in and is happy when Whitebeard is dead. No way, no matter how much they fought Gaban would definitely have had a little sad moment remembering one of the greatest fighters in the world who fought his captain.
I always personally saw Usopp as the #4 in the crew in terms of strength. He's the only one of the crew outside the monster trio that knows Haki now as far as we're aware. I wonder if Usopp got a DF as an upgrade to his amazing sniping skills to add damage for his attacks, I don't see how else he'll match up with Auger unless he REALLY gets good haki training in. Also range is a huge thing in combat, yeah Frankie has lasers, but Usopp perfectly took out Sugar across an entire kingdom, I'd put #4 Usopp unless it's just a straight up brawl like with Senor Pink.
Tekking, quick observation that i don't see a lot of people talking about throughout the community.
I've noticed that the Roger pirates didn't really disband and "go their separate ways." After they found Laugh Tale, the crew took up strategic positions around the world.
Crocus went to the twin capes, the beginning of the grand line.
Raleigh went to Sabaody, the halfway point of the grand line.
For reasons we are not yet aware of, Oden went back to Wano to open the borders.
Shanks went to the east to give the hat to the next person to inherit roger's will, Luffy and inspire him to continue his dream.
Then Roger turns himself in, makes his speech and starts the great pirate era, almost CERTAINLY being done on purpose.
Buggy may have also played some role in this being the first pirate antagonist for Luffy.
Either way, my point is, each of his crewmates and himself took up strategic positions around the world and each of them i believe have their own "role to play," if you will, in guiding the next generation forward. More specifically, they seem like they were ALL there to guide luffy, the carrier of roger's will.
Strangely, Scopper Gaban has been absent from the story but I honestly wouldn't doubt it if he's sitting on Lode Star island or waiting for Luffy on Laugh Tale when he arrives.
Just an observation and a bit of theory. It's not game changing but i don't really see anyone else talking about it.

But rather than the Roger pirates planning this out it seems to be something setup unironically i.e. the will of the author.
Given regular humans in One Piece live longer than real life ones, a person's "prime" would most likely be longer or happen later in their lives.

I feel like one of my favorite things to look forward to is seeing the Straw Hats *not* round out the story as invincible gods amongst pirates. They just don't have to be, it's the darling nature of this whole tale. The way history doesn't repeat itself and birth perfect gene seed after gene seed is quite brilliant on Oda's part and I appreciate how grounded the core concepts and messages from One Piece are.
Now, onto more pressing matters. "And then I'll be Queen of the Pirates!" -Roger
Yeah, i can almost see it, the news guy morgan or whoever he is, declares luffy pirate king because he has managed to pick a fight with kaido big mom and blackbeard, and is still alive, despite never actually beating them.
@@chrishubbard64 Oh, I don't know about that; I think Kaido and Big Mom are no doubt going down and Luffy will be the tip of those spears. What I mean is the prime time is behind us in the context of the story, and it's much healthier off that way. Powercreep is gay and leaving the gods of the seas like Roger and Rocks (Locks?) to literal history is the right move storytelling-wise.
When it comes to the "and then I´ll be..." I think both Roger and Luffy said something along the lines of "the person with the most freedom" because thats what Luffy is all about and it would make sense because Roger wants to find the last island so he has the freedom to travel to every place in the world. Also it would make sense why Whitebeard is laughing at it and Oden is so shocked because he always dreamed about bying free to travel the world but probaly didn´t even think in such an big picture like Roger.
You know what I have recently thought of? Is that Law is a member of Sword and has been keeping tabs on Kaido and the overall operation of Smile and Doflamigo and he would be taking after Rocinante.
I like how the marines are scared to attempt a capture on Rayleigh, including showing reluctancy to use 2 admirals. But then think 7 warships is good enough to capture Mihawk.
Maybe logistics isnt Akainus strong suit

@David Bury he wasn't fighting to defeat him. He was simply holding him off. He didn't use a single technique of any kind. No named attacks, no ranged attacks, just regular swings. Kizaru was the only one who took damage as well.

btw, in the official translation it does not say anything about rayleigh and scopper being his "two best men". In the official translation, Roger only says: "I wouldn't want you guys to get hurt". Everyone is taking the scan translation and running with it, but it was a mistranslation!
