I believe one of reason can be lack of marketing try to associate with the main markets in bigger cities of Gujarat batick work looks. So beautiful if organic colours are used but majorly in market prints with synthetic dyes are much available at cheaper rates that is also one of the reason
Such beautiful work! Great respect, and keep on going. The patterns are gorgeous, and the colours are wonderful. Thank you for showing this video, and this Labour intensive process. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Indeed you are doing very good job of reviving our old custom and traditional Art work's. Keep doing up the good work. Lot's of effort's, hard work is there in this and Patience too. But the outcome result is so Beautiful👍👌👌👍👏👏

In a time where the world is shifting towards fast fashion, we are losing traditional methods. Please hold onto them before they are lost. People don't realise how precious these traditions are.
Niru you are correct... I think supporting our regional culture, traditional art, and creativity is what allows more creativity to spurn..... I think more and more people and being conscious of what they eat, wear etc.... For example now I pay attention to what clothes I buy, question where are they coming from, how are they being made, are there fair labor standards honoured, or eco sustainable conscious...
This is a wonderful effort. The entire series has been crafted beautifully - the content, the story telling in less than under 10 minutes as well as the videography is really appreciable. Thank you and keep them coming
Indian entrepreneurs should focus on capturing the western market. There is a massive opportunity to export environment friendly clothing, accessories, skincare products considering the growing popularity of low waste sustainable living in the affluent countries.
I'm still slightly worried about it sustaining itself amidst desertification. Because printing, of any kind, is still a water intensive process....till we think of one which isn't..the water crisis concerns don't go away with the simple switch to vegetables dyes even if it is better.
I'm aware that this is a eco friendly option, and that the water can go back to the groundwater table without hiccups. But it's not solving the problem of continuing water intensive crafts in water scarce areas. Its not the printing of kalamkari on the sea beds in machlipatnam that such questions would arise.
@@nitee2100 those are the layout plans and yes should be done... and as much as that is the overarching solution, something more specific I'm afraid is what im asking for? Perhpas a solution quite simple, yet tackling that exaxt issue?

Problem with water? Yes, in some areas, but there are many places where we must solve the problem of garbage thrown in lakes and rivers and do not let some people occupy them for their businesses.
Their supply should be transparent and accountable, in the sense that they know where the raw material is coming from, what it is made and who the supplier is. As for production, the brand should be aware of who is making what and whether they are being paid a fair wage. Also, eco-friendly brands always acknowledge and encourage handmade crafts and artisans work. They also opt for upcycling their textiles for garment. In short, genuine eco-friendly brands are always transparent about their design and making process.

The way you show is very intriguing.
Why people bargain with the poorest people and pay high price to brands
Yes
They have no shame
This is what all of us have thought or said once for sure but never wrote it....never contemplated ! Absolutely true
because they don't have brains and they like to show off and compete with the similar people like themselves

Indian entrepreneurs should focus on capturing the western market. There is a massive opportunity to export environment friendly clothing, accessories, skincare products considering the growing popularity of low waste sustainable living in the affluent countries.
India, an up and coming country, will be able to market wherever it wants.
I'm still slightly worried about it sustaining itself amidst desertification. Because printing, of any kind, is still a water intensive process....till we think of one which isn't..the water crisis concerns don't go away with the simple switch to vegetables dyes even if it is better.
With vegetable dyes, the effluent water has a chance to go back and recharge the water table, without making it toxic and unusable.
The focus should be multi pronged.. reviving ground water, using vegetable dyes, awareness of the buyer
I'm aware that this is a eco friendly option, and that the water can go back to the groundwater table without hiccups. How does one identify genuine, eco-friendly textile products/brands? Please throw some light on this...
