Out of politeness we didn't act like we were being poisoned. Our parents allowed us to say we didn't like a food after we tried it. Not in front of a host though. I believe it's about the parents not exposing kids to new things, with a positive attitude.

It's not hard to learn how to use chopsticks, I knew how to use them when I was 5, was I good? No, but it didn't take long for me to learn, it just takes practice :) Whenever I get the chance I grab two pencils or actual chopsticks and practice

It's not hard to learn how to use chopsticks, I knew how to use them when I was 5, was I good? No, but it didn't take long for me to learn, it just takes practice :) Whenever I get the chance I grab two pencils or actual chopsticks and practice
