This really exhibits one of my favourite things about Amsterdam, how "Amsterdammers" really own their own city, by putting up plants anywhere they like, pulling bricks out of the street, putting out furniture to sit on, leaving the windows and doors open while at home, as if the streets are this big extension of their own homes

Such a quiet and peaceful walk through the historic center. Was this filmed though during COVID lockdowns or during the travel ban? There's barely anyone in the city in this video....
It's filmed in July 2022, no lockdown was in place. This part of the city is not crowded on a regular basis, and it was a quieter day. I also tried to avoid filming people and edited some of them out of the video :) I hope you enjoyed it!
So beautiful - I have to see it for myself! This is summer but I notice a lot of people wearing pants and long-sleeved tops. Are the high temps in Amsterdam generally cooler than say France or England? I prefer cooler weather.

These streets are usually quiet, but it can become busier too :) If you go in the morning, it's magical!

I would say the temperatures are similar to England.
