How is this young man on JV and not varsity? They must have a loaded team above the JV level. Or maybe it's a decision to draw attention to him for his last two years and varsity because you may have some NBA potential potential to him which would be silly because JV doesn't really cut it as far as scouts are looking at and the level of competition. Excellent on him he's definitely a good shooter, he has a pretty good head for basketball apparently and maybe there's a lot more to the story. But, how he's on junior varsity hitting these shots apparently game after game? Would love to learn more about it. Great video though. My freshman year last game of the year against rival school, I got some playing time (coach hated me and my family). I went 8 for 9 on 3’s, and this was back in like 2009ish when you didn’t shoot 3s all game, and if I had missed 2 on a row, would have been taken out for probably rest of the game.
To be fair i dont expect any D1 coaches to take a chance on a development project. Thousands of highschool kids can kill it at 3 like this. Had a kid pushing on the 3pt record for Missouri high school in 1A he only got junior college offers and one NIAI . His team and mine where in Otto Porter jr's district region. He got massacred like the rest of us when we played porters Scott county team. You need more than a pure shot to make it to D1 or even junior college. Only played do to my size and strength. This kid hits the weight room and does more skills training and maybe he can work his way onto the radar.
