Game 5 of 2017 I think was better. 3 different 3 run leads were blown, 2 by LA and 1 by Houston. Not to mention the guy that blew the 2 3 run leads for LA was Clayton Kershaw himself. Imagine being down by 3 runs 2 times facing off against Kershaw. Game 6 of 2011 was iconic, and I will never forget exactly where I was, but I give it to Game 5 2017.
2008 Chase Utley had a great defensive play in Game 5. Joe Blanton homered in Game 4 which will be the last pure pitcher homer in a World Series now that there's a universal DH rule.
The '22 Phillies were an absolutely amazing team, they would have crushed any of the AL WS teams from 20-24. But the '22 Astros were completely unstoppable.
David Freese still haunts my very soul😭. Almost made me hate baseball for the rest of my life. But I stuck with it and finally got some resolution in 2023. Let’s do it again in 2025!
