I find the criticism of the ANC present leadership by its and country's former presidents odd. One, did they wait so long to notice the rot? Two, all the elements that over time came together and solidified crippling the ANC and in turn the whole country were there when the former presidents were still active in both the party and state, why didn't they deal with them decisively then? Saving the party and country in the process. Could it be that they had found political power so intoxicating as not to care about the future of our country? Or could it be that they believed that the ANC will magically? How about the adoption of the policy of cadre deployment - like an ANC member is caught with his pockets bulging with stolen taxpayers money, instead of sending him/her to jail you remove him and give him another position.
