I love the Angie Harmon bits. @:25, they decide to include a shot of her getting blinded by someone's highbeams. But I love the part at @:40 where her skirt is so short that she has to run with one hand holding it down. Classy, producers.
@ashamartin yep they did...the same way they did with 'Baywatch'!! I like it, gr8 theme & it sets up the mood for action! At least that's how I perceived it to be.
i remember was a kid i loved baywatch and was like yes a new baywatch show with bikinis and stuff. then saw they were cops i was like huh? and does angie always play cops?
the intro is cool. if they didnt have the name baywatch in it and have david be named mitch and didnt do the sci fi thing in season 2, it might of lasted
Big mistake. They should've kept the gumshoe thing going instead of trying to turn it all into a cheap X-Files knockoff. The second season, did have a cool opening theme song, though. Both seasons did, actually.
when i saw the previews for this show i used to think this was super scary/not for kids. but now i think if a little kid watched this he/she would porably be laughing at how bad this show is.
nothing like a good 90's opening credit :)

I loved Baywatch Nights, liked it more than Baywatch even. It was a good show back in the day.
The title's brightness burned the lady's eyes. XD
@ashamartin
Yes, they did. Back in the 80's and 90's TV shows had full length songs and intros.
@balthorpayne It was actually WPWR UPN Power 50 that it was on Saturdays @ 5P, Sundays @ 6P.
@superagnitio the song is called "Afther The Sun Goes Down" and is performed by Lou Rawls
"well that sucked balls, what else is on?" would've been my first reaction if I saw this intro 11 years ago
i want the title of this song, great blues!
I loved this song. The show wasn't bad in the first season, either. But that second season? Whoo, boy...
This opening is real. That was how it was on the 90's
@ashamartin yep, they did. It was a gr8 song by 'The Hoff' & Lou Rawls (RIP), the opening needed work, but it's ok for its time.
lol I remember watching the 2nd season, this show belongs on the Sci-Fi Channel
It was the norm in the mid 90's to have long themes - Baywatch, Thunder in Paradise (etc)
@ashamartin Lots of hour-long shows in syndication had long-assed credits. More credits, more padding = less budget needed to fill out the hour.
Fifty bucks says that Angie Harmon still wakes up screaming, "I was on Baywatch Nights! Mommy!!!!!"
do you know where i could find the episodes online with out haveing to buy the dvds
This is a long-assed credit sequence. They didn't play this every week, did they?
@ashamartin yep they did...the same way they did with 'Baywatch'!! I like it, gr8 theme & it sets up the mood for action! At least that's how I perceived it to be.
The Second season they changed the whole formula and turned itm into a monster of the week kind of show...
i remember was a kid i loved baywatch and was like yes a new baywatch show with bikinis and stuff. then saw they were cops i was like huh? and does angie always play cops?
Haha she was Maura before Jane :)
This was before Angie Harmon was Sam Waterston's D.A. Partner on Law and Order, and then Rizolli and Isles
the intro is cool. if they didnt have the name baywatch in it and have david be named mitch and didnt do the sci fi thing in season 2, it might of lasted
yup until season 2
Yes
@ashamartin yes they did
@donshadow15 and unless i am mistaken i swear i could hear david hasselhoff singing as well
I love the Acura NSX..
what the name of the son and whats the name of the artist
Before Angie was the badass Boston cop jane rizzoli :D love it!
@ZECTCustomUnit I agree with ya!!
@limpade1 That's what I thought! This programme basically turned Mitch Buchanon into Michael Knight!!!
Saves on production costs, there's a whole bunch of scenes you don't have to film.
really! even though knight rider came out in 1982 way b4 baywatch.
@dragopede
YEAH!
That's Angie Harmon from Law & Order!!
Cool.
واااااااااااااااااااااااو

Mitch should have drove a Black Trans-Am

It was unbelievably unwatchable.
But I would gladly sit through an occasional episode just to listen to Angie Harmon's husky voice...
until its second season then it became the x files on the beach
Lou Rawls o.0
@DarkMeir ba dum dum
isnt this meant to be a show about a life guard...wtf?
WTF is this? Miami Vice: Baywatch Edition?
This video sounds incredibilly wrong for me. In an ethical way, I mean.
Ha ha ha, what a load of bloody rubbish, smarmy as hell.
This show was so stupid...
badass theme for a terrible show
