    I have been using macbook for over 14 years and now mac mini. With the keyboard it is more than enough for me, I almost never use a mouse and the trackpad is practically a glove, but that is why the mouse or the trackpad cannot be underestimated, everyone looks for their ergonomics when working, greetings!

      Yesssss trackpad with gesture controls are really something !!

  • @TechGently

    I use the trackpad with my vision issues, I'm left handed but use the trackpad with my left, mouse on the right. When viewing technical documents I simply drag my mouse to where I need to zoom and use the trackpad expression to zoom in. It is intuitive and quick. I believe that having all three, the trackpad, the mouse and the keyboard is a complete set. The only additional input I'd like to get is a Wheel and a Slider for my use in Logic Pro which would complete what I use w my iMac.

    • @kendidshoots

      Hey there, hundred percent agree!! Gestures in the mac + regular mouse is indeed a fun combo. For your wheel and slider, maybe you can check out loupedeck, they offer some really innovative stuff!

    Very honest review- and exactly my thoughts. I have been toying with the idea of going track pad only - I would prefer not having to move wrist much and just naturally interacting with my desktop with gestures... but as you accurately mentioned- the accuracy limitations. With a mouse I could just fly across my big screen and click exactly what I want in a split second, select multiple docs & sort them super quickly etc... BUT.. if you're a creator working on photo editing for example... I'd take a trackpad anyday. Zooming in & out of edits is so much more intuitive - but ultimately my mouse serves me better 80% of the time. Ideally though, I think you can still have a track pad lying in the drawer - and pull it out for special case scenarios where it'll just be better than the mouse.

    • @kendidshoots

      @@vik393 100% agree dude. However there are some people that strongly insist that trackpads are more accurate than a mouse 🤌🏼🤷🏽‍♀️

    Thanks for the great and honest review. You are very talented. I’m heavily debating getting the trackpad, but you’re point on accuracy clicking was the final factor. I’ve been meaning to pick up the MX mouse too. I have an older version but need to upgrade with the minor adjustments.

    • @kendidshoots
      @kendidshoots  2 года назад +2

      Hey Steve, thanks for the comment ! Appreciate it a lot! Click accuracy right ? Mouse > Trackpad for precise stuff for me. Well, there’s the new MX MAster 3s, or the Logitech Lift (vertical mouse) for a change. It does horizontal scroll but without the scroll wheel. Pretty interesting, and it’s cheaper too

    • @Steve-zq8ge
      @Steve-zq8ge 2 года назад

      @@kendidshoots I tried the M575 & 3S and nothing feels better than the M570 for me. My pinky gets tires on the 3S and had dragging the mouse around after getting used to scroll wheels. I think my hand would get tired using the track pad as well. Thought I found a better fit (MX Ergo Plus), but nope, too big. Think I have to stick with the M570 until something better comes out in the future. Can't do the lift style mouses. Granted, everyones hands are built differently and it's a pain going through the trial and error, lol.

    It surprised me a lot when I noticed your cursor moves when you click. Even if I set the tracking speed in macOS to the _highest_ setting, my cursor does not move a single pixel when I click. I wonder if it has to do with any extra software you installed, influencing the sensitivity. This could have had a significant impact on your experience. Also, if you indeed use your cursor to click the red/yellow/green buttons: learning 3 keyboard shortcuts will free you from that entire struggle. You are faster if you combine keyboard shortcuts with cursor moves. You can close an app or window with your left hand, meanwhile your cursor is on its way for the next task. Dual yield :)

    I've been the trackpad v1 for over 12 years and have not used the regular mouse except when I play Starcraft 2. Misclick??? Inaccurate clicks?? Those are words I never even think about using the trackpad. I never want to use a mouse because the trackpad is infintely more precise. Maybe because I've been using it for so long without a mouse and maybe because you are more of a mouse person than a trackpad user.

    • @kendidshoots

      Hey Andrew, to a certain extent. Mouse has better precision control (FPS games use gaming mices with high sensitivity (Dpi), you just don't see people e-sport gaming with a trackpad for precision control)and yes... I have used mouse for more than 15 years plus since i was a kid. Only until recently using the trackpad (loved the gesture controls for simplicity of life)

    • @gilachess

      @@kendidshoots haha this reminds me of the fight I had with my colleague where we tried to prove our mouse was better than the trackpad and vice versa. Funnily I was on the side of the mouse. I guess it all depends on the application and "accuracy" isn't really a factor. For coding, photo and video editing, I'd go for the trackpad and/or graphic tablet. It's simply more natural and comfortable. For gaming it's mouse of course. I do use a high DPI Razer mouse and it sits beside my trackpad of course. Since I am a software developer, the trackpad is used most of the time.

    Though it actually reduces RSI.

      The trackpad pretty much functions the same as a conventional mouse compared to vertical mouse or trackballs imo.

      @@kendidshoots The movement is different - there's less stress on some fingers, so I'd say it uses different parts of your hand. To prevent RSI, best to switch back and forth between a trackpad and mouse (for a wider range of repetitive movements which will in turn reduce repetition overall).

    • @kendidshoots
      @kendidshoots  2 года назад

      Hey Germaine, it was a good experience! Budget option, has a Delete Key and being able to change between 3 devices is indeed convenient. I’m mowing using the Magic keyboard… although having a very nice typing experience, I think the Logitech is a bit more value to consider hahahaha

    What are your thoughts on magic mouse 2 vs MX master 3?

    • @kendidshoots
      @kendidshoots  2 года назад

      Hey Farhan, tough question! Been using the MX Master 3 a couple of months now, like the ergonomics of it, horizontal scroll is very very useful, but I’ve also tried the Magic Mouse for a couple of days, didnt really like the grip on the flat Magic Mouse. But for the all in one gesture + precise cursor control, I might give it another shot sometime in the future !
      Short answer : MX master 3 😂

    • @joee374

      @@joee374 yeahh for sure. However I came across a comfy ergo grip to be added on the Magic mouse for comfort. Not sure how that one turns out to be... and not to mention the way you charge the Magic Mouse 2 is a complete joke :D (if you get what I mean)

    • @kendidshoots

      Ahh, the Magic Mouse yea? Had some time with it, tho it didn't use it long enough to judge the ergonomics.. The grip is horrible, but comes with simple gesture controls that some might think it's convenient.

      Hey there, ngl, I haven't been really using both the Trackpad and the Mouse together a whole bunch to make a video, unfortunately. I grow back to using the mouse a lot more, and occasionally reminded that I have a trackpad and use it mainly for video editing. Non-theless, i will consider making a video soon enough (hopefully)

    Hi.. I have been reading that this trackpad is possible to connect with the Windows 10.. Did you ever tried to test that and would you please share your experience, if yes.. Thank you in advance.

    • @kendidshoots
      @kendidshoots  2 года назад +1

      Hey Sarah !! Yes I have connected the trackpad to Windows 10 thru bluetooth as per normal. But as expected, gesture controls are not working since some drivers are missing. There are some people on some forum talking about manually installing some apple drivers for gesture controls. But I was lazy XD for sure you will be able to navigate thru windows 10 no problem, just that gesture controls are missing ! Let me know if you require anything else!

      Hey John, in case you didnt know there are 3rd party magic keyboard + trackpad like (Magic Bridge) to hold both devices together. And as for the trackpad, it's more usable than traditional mouse? You don't need surface to glide to move the cursor even if the surface is not flat. HAHA
