We are sailing on the Sun Princess on June 1-8. This ship looks huge. This will be our 61st cruise and never been on a ship this big. We like the smaller ships. Probably get lost a few times but love adventures.

Yes! Enjoyed the Sun Princess tour. We made it, Wife and I will be aboard March 29 th ! 🤍 the previews. We then can pinch ourselves when we step on the decks and enjoy 😀.

@@gabrielortiz9594 we loved it over all. Will take sone use to - modern decor and very spacious Piazza to accommodate entertainment The food is an even bigger step up in all venue’s. Looks as though plenty to do all around the ship with new venues for entertainment as well. We had a port intensive cruise. Really needed much more time to really see what the ship had to offer. Looking forward to a transatlantic in Sept to really figure it all out 😀
Oh ‘ the outside promenade and the sphere design with glass around the Piazza was a nice touch !

@princesscruises Do you guys have Classic Soda Package still because last year when I went on they charge $600 for all drinks and I don't drink alcohol I only drink soda. Is there a way to get soda package for much cheaper price.

Sadly I was supposed to be on the first inaugural cruise but that was canceled 10 days prior to sailing! It is exciting to see, after two disappointing inaugural cruise’s canceled, Sun Princess finally sailing! It looks like a beautiful ship. Now it would be nice to see Princess step up and really compensate those of us who were disappointed when our cruise was canceled 10 days and 5 days prior to sailing! A 50% FCC isn’t enough to cover the aggravation of last minute travel charges and disappointment of being part of a wonderful event. Sorry Mr Padgett, your sharing how disappointed you were with canceling ( again just 10 and 5 days before sailing) is meaningless. Surely your project managers could have done better and Princess should do more for the you impacted loyal CUSTOMERS.
Not sure why people keep booking inaugural sailings. Past experience tells us that they have an around 70% chance of cancellation. If they sail, the crew are not yet playing well together and there are tons of issues. Booking an inaugural cruise is the dumbest thing you can do.

I think it is a great looking cruise ship! The venues look great too! It looks similar to MSC Seashore if you added the Spheres to that cruise ship. I think the front sphere for the show looks far more integrated into the ship than the Aqua dome on Icon of the Seas.

Wow -- the cruise director is identified as Corrine. We remember her ... she was OUR cruise director on the Royal to Alaska in June, as we celebrated our 25th anniversary!! Terrific job, she did. Always remembered her tagline: "A day without laughter, is a day wasted." Best of luck with our new gig!!

I'm absolutely in love with this ship. I prefer smaller ships so it won't be my favourite but I can't wait to sail next year. The lido food options are amazing and the seating in the dome looks incredible.

Looking forward to the experience, perhaps one day. Australian Season. Checked out a few other tours of the Sun Princess and I think the Piazza has lost some of its Grandeur.
The Dome looks interesting and excitingly new.
I wish cruise lines would build some mid-size ships too, instead of all these massively big ones that seem to be taking over the cruise industry. I personally do not want to sail on a huge floating Vegas.
There are many midsized ships. If you are interested in a smaller ship. Maybe a river cruise or a cruise on one of the affiliated lines. Seabourn, Holland or Cunard. Contact us for options if we can help.

No mention of the Park 19 or the kids clubs. I know it’s controversial but as someone who’s cruised princess before without the kids I’m excited to take them on this ship!
The bar man in O'Malley's is called jesus, he served us on the Enchanted princess. One of the best members of staff onboard, he'll be a credit to the ships crew.

I'm glad Princess didn't go for the trendy beige and gray that NCL and Celebrity did in their newest class of ships. There's some of it, but there's good contrast of rich colors. And Princess kept the Princess characters and there are plenty of nice lounges on the ship. Don't see too many suite only areas either. This ship looks good in the video. I hope the spaces turn out to work well and flow well with passengers onboard. Very nice ship.
