Its called return fraud, and if the amount is over $25 cumulative over how many times you do it (and they will check, pull video of every instance, if you're caught,) you will be charged both civilly for monetary damages and with felony theft, possibly felony trespass, and likely with ORC (organized retail crime) which is also a felony. So, yeah. Good job not being a convicted felon, arin, because you very nearly were, whether you realize it or not.

I don't have the stomach to do that to people. I went through the CPS system as a kid, I'm sure there are some decent and caring caseworkers out there, but I never met one. And for the record, that wasn't sarcasm. Arin was fucking lucky, and I'm glad he got away with it, because in your late teens or early twenties, multiple felonies can fuck up the entire rest of your life.
