Little hint: you can see what Pneuma/Ousia alignment the characters have by their vision, Pneuma characters' visions have like (idk how to describe it) a little crown like piece on their vision and the Ousia characters have a little swirl. Also everyone has their own Pneuma/Ousia attack, some use skill, others charged attack and Wrio burst
To add to the hints: The characters also have a lil color-pop on their vision when you switch them in, kinda like the one when their burst is charged. Just that it always happens and is in their respective pneuma/ousia energy!

You understand right that Neuvi and Wrio have the pneuma and ousia attacks? 😂 You don't need to collect the particles around to solve the puzzles
neuvillete can use his skill but wrio needs his ult so it's kind of bothersome to charge it every time just to solve puzzles. Unless it's underwater exploration of course

Wriothesley’s Ousia application is locked behind his burst, so you have one try before having to regain energy. Not very efficient.

the "your purpose is in another canal" quest is actually a reference to the older mario games! whenever you'd beat bowser, you'd find toad instead of princess peach in all of them and he'd tell you that your princess is in another castle hehe (except for the final one, ofc)

Hiya! Since you're using fontaine characters (like neuvilette and wriothesley) they already have arkhe alignments and you don't need to spend time finding the orbs! Neuvilette is pneuma-aligned on his skill and wriothesley is ousia-aligned on his burst (but lynette can also do ousia with her skill for easier exploration)
edit: underwater you can just use their normal attacks and they'll have the alignment
i swear i tried every time and it just didnt work so i gave up
