Dear Ms. Espie, Thank you so much for this video. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch it. I am a surgeon in the USA. I have lost several friends and colleagues to COVID over the past few years. This video makes me cherish their memories and the times I had with them . Hopefully, someday, we will get back to pseudo-normal but until then, I will just move forward, take care of my patients, and pray for everyone's safety. This tune is so moving that I have instructed my family to play it at my funeral when that time comes with me decked out in my army dress uniform.
What a fantastic tribute to to all our front line teams everywhere. God bless you all, and a terrific tune played superbly. Thank you to the young lady for that. 🎶🎶👏👏👏😁😁😁👍👍👍
Being a nurse for myself, I had tears in my eyes, seeing the video and remembering what it costs me and all my collegues, doing what we love. Thanks, Jane, for sharing this.
Beautiful haunting music. Dedicated to those dedicated to watching over us whilst we are unwell. May you all get through this winter safely and welcome spring again.
I believe that this was a tribute to those that worked tirelessly to help those in need. My hat is off to them. I also morn those that lost their lives. Sadly our governments lied to us and people died. This includes the brave front line workers that died. When will we learn that science and politics do not mix. This is coming from the son of a rn and rny wife is the daughter of rn.
Land of my fathers, we will always be Faithful and loyal to our own country. In times of danger we will set you free, Lead you to glory and to victory.

@@rivenoak Doesn't make it, or the writers Scottish, they'll always be (or were) Germans. This melody was composed by German musicians in 1982 for a Highland games held in Germany. The tune was the Royal Hong Kong Police Anthem under British rule which ended in 1997. It was played at a ceremonial lowering of the Governor's flag at Chris Patten's official residence, Government House in Central, on the last day of British rule. "Highland Cathedral" is Patten's favourite pipe tune, as said by himself on a BBC Asia Today programme. The tune has been performed by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, and featured in the album, Spirit of the Glen, which won a Classical Brit award in 2009. The song has been performed at numerous Scottish cultural events, including Scotland's Rugby Union games. It is also a popular wedding song. It was played on 4 May 2019 at the State funeral of the Grand Duke Jean from Luxembourg at the Notre Dame Cathedral by the Band of the Irish Guards and the Luxembourg Military Band.
@@thebestofforum do You realize that Michael Korb also went to Edinburgh, where he took daily lessons with the 80-year-old master Paddy Atkinson.
