cool watches, im not a watch guy really, i like to watch interesting videos from time to time, i appreciate them lets say, when i saw the thumbnail I honestly thought those were Seikos not Casios, I like them.

Can you tell me how to remove the bezel? I heard a loud click and now it spins very easily, i think the spring broke. I tried a bezel knife but no luck...

The little spade-end tools work better for me than the knife-shaped versions. But I've never taken the bezel off the MDV106. When I changed the bezel insert, I simply placed the watch case face-down in a small pool of solvent and waited a few hours until it was loose enough to dislodge just by pushing it. So, sorry, I don't have any answer to your specific problem there.

Good analysis and agree on all your points. Seems like youtubers in general have a small watch fetish for whatever reason and yes the Marlin is large but doesn't wear large. Like you said caseback is flat due to it being quartz and so doesn't protrude making it very comfortable. And yes, like you, I find the strap comfortable and very pliable. No need to change it out unless ypou're going for a different look.

How does the Japan market version compare to the US marlin version? Is the lume the same?

Only what they chose to print on the dial above the 6 o’clock indices is different. Everything else is identical to the MDV107 as far as I can tell. Same loom, yes.
