Highly recomend: Hiroyuki Sawano / Project【emU】 “Attack on Titan” suite. It's a suite of the best music from the first 3/4 of the show. It obviously doesn't have any spoilers because it's a video recording of the musicians playing their instruments without any imagry/scenes from the anime.

Fun fact, this is from a japanese show, but the lyrics are entirely in German

I think this is because Japan used to have a deep cultural relationship with Germany. It's an old story.

The singer is "Gemie" who made her debut in the Philippines and is now active in Japan.
She is half Japanese and half Filipino. While studying abroad in the Philippines, while announcing her singing voice on a video site, she was scouted by composer Sawano and participated in his project.

Each OST in AoT is specifically and perfectly composed for their specified scenes with all the mixes emotions. This one specifically start off by reminding you all the sacrifice happen before this, then the suspicious part come in, then the confused or puzzled part, then the betrayal part, then the vocal hit to remind you the memory of how they build that trusted relationship, then the wrath emotion kicks in and the sorrow within the wrath for the betrayal emotion. This is insane how precise the OST portrait that exact scenes, exact moments that lingered within us thr audience for years.

"YouSee" can be broken down into the words "You" and "See". Writing how we pronounce "You" in Japanese is ユ (yu), and the Japanese word for "see", as a verb, is 見る (miru). Put together, you get ユミル (Yumiru), which is how you would romanise the Japanese name of the character "Ymir". "BIGGIRL" in kanji, 巨女, basically means Female Titan, or just "Titan" if you prefer. In full, "YouSeeBIGGIRL" means "Ymir Titan".
This track is another "double track", including two very different halves to the piece. The / separates the first half of the piece to the second half.
"T:T" refers to the second half of the piece. Presumably, "T" stands for "Titan", and the colon can be read as 対 (tai). Read like this, "tai" can mean "versus". Therefore, "T:T" should mean "Titan VS Titan".
Attack on Titan is very different from other anime out there. It's grand, it's great, it's objectively a masterpiece. I put this show with other shows like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones in my list. The tone of AOT is very similar to Game of Thrones but story-wise, AOT is far better than Game of Thrones. I'm not gonna force you to watch it or something like that, I'll just say, check out this show once in your life before you die.

This OST is a mix of two OSTs. In the second portion, when the singer starts, the original version for S1 is called Vogel im Kafig and translates to "Bird in a cage." That is a core theme of the series. And you can have a different point of view of the whole story solely through the lyrics of the songs, including the intro and outro songs in the episodes. That's how AMAZING this entire series is 🔥🔥🔥

Music is such a vast form of art. Attack on titan does the best at utilizing full on orchestrated bone chilling music. The songs carry so much weigh they’re nearly palpable. Japan does not play around, don’t sleep on these composers ost.
yes be careful you have spoilers in ost videos , even in thumbnails . But yes you should react to the anime , i was just like you appart for dbz i didnt really watch anime when i was young , i started at 22 and now i cannot watch a lot of movies or tv shows cause they quickly are too boring for me compared to some of the animes i like . The video they picked is one of the major, pivotal scenes of the show, so good call on not watching it. Despite what some people may say, you _can_ watch the openings without being afraid of spoilers. Not everything in the openings actually happens in the series, so unless you actually stop to analyze the visuals, you won't be able to tell the spoilers from the rest.

Yeah. Some anime intros and such can spoil you. You can prolly find guides online that can help ya watch them at the right time. Like Naruto. In the beginning, there isn’t much spoilers but when you get to Shippuden the intros are spoiler filled.
