I think Marco's mom is mewman it just makes sense to me. I mean seriously his parents are completely chilled with taking in a magical teenager and cool with all the supernatural events that take place.
I prefer if Marco is actually apart of eclipsas bloodline are related to her family because if he was to marry star he could tie the new butterfly family to the original restoring the family trees bloodline and keeping the royalty running
If Marco is a mewman of the original family and he marries Star, that would bring it back to a full circle. The Royal blood line would have their rightful place back to the throne, and Stars line wouldn't be forgotten. But joined. The families would come to together and the war over who the crown belonged to would finally find peace.

What happened to Solaria’s brother Justin? Could he have ended up on Earth as well? Hear me out, because as far as I can tell Justin disappears after the entry about the mission with Alphonse and Heckapoo. Only Heckapoo was successful according to Solaria, so what happened to Justin? Is it possible that both Alphonse and Justin found themselves in different places on Earth and their dimensional scissors lost or destroyed it the process. Both of them coming into contact with the descendants of the Mewmans that fell victim to Skywing’s spell. One or both of Marco’s parents could be descended from Alphonse and Justin, since we know very little about Marco’s family tree. It should be noted that if Justin never returned to Mewni then that would explain why none of his children claimed the throne after Eclipsa abdicated. Justin was the elder brother of her mother Solaria, so it would stand to reason that his children could have claimed the throne if he could not do so, such as if he was considered to old to reclaim the wand or had already died like his sister. But there is nothing, which leads me to believe that Justin never managed to return to Butterfly castle. If you compare them you can that there is a certain resemblance between Justin, Angie and Marco which cements the idea that Justin could have created a new life for himself on Earth. Thus both his bloodline and possibly Alphonse’s manage to come together at some point through some twist of fate later down the line. Remember Eclipsa was in prisoned three hundred years ago according to the shows cannon, which gives this idea merit. If this was true then it would explain Toffee’s reaction to Marco as he would be a relative of Solaria the Monster Carver, the actions of whom would still resonate with the Monster community. As to the part about the Blood Moon, if Alphonse was reaching out to Marco through the portrait then it could have been the Butterfly family ancestors wanting Marco help restore the true bloodline to the throne through his bond with Star. Sorry about the length of this theory but I needed to get this down. Now I will admit I could be wrong, but until the show proves me wrong I will stand by it.

I could very well be wrong about Marco being descended from Justin, but I do believe that he does have Mewni ancestry due to one or both of his parents. There is so much evidence to suggest that there is some kind of link, that cannot all be the fans misinterpreting everything. Only time will tell, if we are right or not.

Who knows this might be the Rose Quarts is actually Pink Diamond scenario all over again. Lily Hopper We can only hope that doesn’t happen again with the fandom’s reaction, but as I said all we have are theories and speculation to go on until we get confirmation either way. The whole thing with Steven Universe was always going to be divisive regardless as the subject of Pink Diamond was a major plot point in the shows narrative. So whatever the writers decided would have had a big impact on the show going forward, both with narrative and the fandom. The idea of Marco being of Mewni descent has not been a dominant theory in this fandom when compared to the recent arc with Eclipsa with whom the fans were trying to decide whether or not she was truly evil. This arc lead to the revelation that Festivia was not Eclipsa’s daughter as everyone both in the show and fandom was led to believe and that the Magic High Commission, hid this fact in order to prevent the Butterfly Family magic wand falling into the hands of what they viewed as a monster. The next season should help flesh out the Butterfly Family more and maybe we will get an answer about Marco, who knows except for the writers. If I wrong, then all I have is answer and theory that I enjoyed creating. No harm no foul.
Crazy theory here: What if Jushtin Butterfly came to Earth briefly and sired a bastard descendant, before getting married, who would be an ancestor of Marco?

Marco Diaz doesn't have to be a mewman or Butterfly to be special. If it turns out he is fully human, it would not under play his role. Marco has proven time and again just how badass he is and has become.
It’s not because he’s a mewman or a butterfly. It’s the exposure of magic from the wand. This is confirmed in Butterfly trap and this is why he’s slowly gaining magical capabilities. Also, it could be his soul being bonded to Star as well from the blood moon. I don’t think he’s related to the butterflies at all. Festivia isn’t a butterfly and yet, she has magical capabilities from the wand. The same can be said for Marco.
All Mewmans have magical potential if they're around magic enough. That's why the royal family has cheekmarks, they were straight up born into an area with high magical content. Festiva just proves that any Mewman can have cheekmarks. We don't see any monsters have cheekmarks when they use magic tho. Meaning that the cheekmarks are a Mewman thing. Maybe humans get them too maybe not (we hvnt seen any other human use the wand) but up until now it seems as if one has to have Mewman blood in order to get cheekmarks. So yeah he got his cheekmarks because hes exposed to magic but also he only has those marks because hes part Mewman 🤷🏿
Star Butterfly Well Star looks too much like Eclipsa who looks a LOT like her Uncle so I like to believe Festivia may be a distant Butterfly cousin or maybe Jushtin’s descendent since he did have kids. So she wouldn’t be royal but WOULD be of lineage.

I suspected Jushtin Butterfly, Eclipsas uncle, to be related to Marco rather than Alphonse. then the cheekmarks would be a clearer idea since Alphonse doesn´t have any. Since they were both gone together, Justhin has just, if not more likely, to be the ancestor to Marco.
About Alphonso possibly shipping Marco and Star. It's possible that Alphonso just still held a grudge against monsters and thus didn't want Star the current Mewni heir to be to be bound to an individual with monster heritage.

Say if one of your parents is white and one is black, but your ancestry says your more white than black because one of your parents is also white and black. You see!!! Marco could be 1/2 mewman, he could be 3/4 mewman which would make him mewman, or he could be 1/3 mewman and because it’s less than half then he’s just a human with mewman in his blood. Again it really depends. We can’t really say for sure.

Just to point out, the wand with it's spikes actually looks like a compass. The wings could be his love for dragon-cycling and the gem(might be a ruby) in between for his like of the colour red while the dagger sticking out represent the skill of his with weapons especially Al Chapo. The colour green could be representing of him loving to adventurer and fight monsters or (-murky water lol-) him turning evil at some point.
If Marco is related to Eclipsa's part of the family then it wouldn't actually be incest. Because Festivia, Star's ancestor was a butterfly only in name. She wasn't part of the family but was a commoner baby taken from the streets to promote a scam (that heinous didn't exist and that Festivia was Eclipsa's real daughter) so technically star and Marco would not be related if this theory proves true
It is to be noted that Ludo/Toffee came into possession of one half of the wand and used magic heavily, but did not develop cheek marks, this might be because the wand was halved, or because they are full-blooded monsters and thus not affected by magic in the same way mewmans and halfbloods like meteora are, but that's just some food for thought. Perhaps you're right, and because Marco is a half-blood human/mewman, that's why he got cheek marks, and not just because he used the wand. Either that, or humans and mewmans have similar enough biology that magic has similar effects on both species, or the wand was too weak for cheek marks to develop on toffee/ludo.
I have a different Theory I think that his ancestor is actually Justin. I think that it pretty much went down the same way you explained but think about it have you looked at Justin's eyes recently they look really similar in color to Marco's mother if this theory is true then that actually means that Marco is a potential heir to the throne meaning that have him and star had kids it would restore the original butterfly lineage and give them a damn good reason to get married I'm just throwing that out there.
Actually they would be I'm not sure if you know how royal bloodlines work but for example if Solaria had died in battle and eclipsa had not been born the throne would have likely passed to her brother again or his children and technically that would still stand if Justin had any descendants they would be third in line

Being honest I thought the series was dumb and pretty childish before I watched it, But dang I was SO wrong. It’s been one of my favorite series ever. Just one thing that I was weirded out by is the fact that once Marco and Star saw each other at the last part of the last episode they just said something like “Hi star.” “Hey Marco.” I thought it would be a hug or a Kiss? Seems that starco wasn’t added much in the very end. BUT the ending was VERY cute.

He probably got the marks just like Festivia. She was just a commoner baby but later is shown diamond marks (from what i can recall), and thru the heavy use of the wand cause the marks to appear which would be happening with Marco. Marco had to use a powerful spell, or at the very least to concentrate on the wand to use it. I get it its cool for Marco to be a mewman but everything doesn't need to have such a twist and yknow ://
Festivia had the marks since birth. It wasn't magic that gave them to her. She actually didn't really care much for magic. Also, Daron Nefcy has metioned that there is a lot of twists and that you should look deep into the show because that how she writes the story. She loves easter eggs

I thought that Marcos cheek marks are there, because star’s soul is intertwined with his, by the blood moon, so star and Marco might share magic, but Marcos cheek marks don’t always show, because he needs a source of magic. Just like Meteora (Ms. Haynes). Marco’s source is the wand, or him kissing star. Now star already has a direct source of magic, which is the Magic Dimension, and Marco kind of feeds off star, or the wand. (Not sure which one. Or maybe both.) Ms. Haynes, when we first saw her, didn’t have the cheek marks, because her source of magic was cut off. And then it was refilled by getting the magic from others. (Princesses? Not sure) Marco and Meteora are both hybrids, because they’re both affected by magic, but one is a monster and the other is a human. Meteora is affected by her parents, Globgore (half-monster) and Eclipsa (half-magic). (Meteoras source of magic is Eclipsa, but they got separated, so her source was cut off) Marco is human (self-explanatory) but was affected by star (half-magic) in the Blood Moon Ball when their souls were intertwined Don’t know if anyone is gonna see this, but felt goood to get my thoughts out

I love the idea of Marco being part of the butterfly line HOWEVER I can't let go of noticing little things. Deep down I believe that cheek marks are just a side effect of using magic, and if he uses magic even more then he might even be able to dip down or butterfly transform. I've noticed that only the royal family uses magic and they are the only Mewmans with cheek marks. Even festivia didn't have cheek marks as a baby and then after given the wand she developed them. All in all I can't wait to see Marco use magic more!

If magical exposure results in glowing cheek marks, then why didn't Ludo have them? Sure, his wand was actually Toffee's hand, but the star jewel was still from the royal wand, and his green magic still came from the realm of magic. It was just corrupted.
Daron did an AMA on Reddit not long ago and she revealed that the original storyline had Marco being a Trans Girl named; Marcie being half-Mewman because of her mother the rumored Lost Princess; Angelica the Fierce (aka; Angie Phalange-Diaz), the Lost Princess Angelica the Fierce was said to have Cheek Marks that are similar to Marco’s but upside down (which Angie covered with concealer makeup). Also; Mariposa Diaz (Marco’s sister) has cheek marks in the Netherzone.

What if were looking at it the wrong way what if Marco is descendant from monster, that would explain the creepy wand, which reminded me of the time ludo held the wand. This could as good of a possability as any other, sure this would be hard taking in consideration that humans would fear monsters, but there is a chance that a more human like monster came to earth and had a family. But there was a remainig problem for this theory if Marco was in fact part monster then there would be no cheek marks, but we got to admit thatwould be and an "end of all existence" plot twist.
ok this is one I was so super stoked about. So my theory....why would the ruler of Mewnie send the sole heir to the throne to another dimension to live with strangers? Because they didn't. The Diaz family are actually members of the Royal Court, known to the Butterfly family. In fact, its entirely possible that some of their previous exchange students likely came from Mewnie as well. They were known and trusted by the Royal family, ergo Star was sent to them.
Could possibly Jushtin be Marco's direct ancestor? They have a bit if similar features and it could also explain the painting since Alfons was someone Jushtin respected and admired and could explain how the one and only boy queen just disappears. Would also mean Marco could be of the royal blood line which would provide a great twist
Just found this video and saw the title and instantly said nope to the title. Believe it or not, Mewmans are actually humans. Humans were teleported from Earth to the magic world, forgot their memories and was teleported to a new world (Which is what it would be called at that time), Glossaryck then randomly picks a someone to be queen.
What if Justin remained on Earth since the war was breaking out and Solaria was the Queen? What if Justin, an honest member of the Butterfly Family started his own life on Earth? *What if Marco is a descendant of Justin?* Another plot detail involving Marco and Mewni is actually something that's been going on since not long after we last dealt with Toffie. The Mewmans have never actually accepted Marco, and they still don't as far the Season 4 teaser. This will likely be a running plot where Marco doubts his belonging both on Mewni and Earth. It would be the Perfect Irony if all of that happens, only for him to realize that he was actually a descendant from a lost Butterfly from before the Magic High Comision soiled the Bloodline in lies.

It's interesting that they connected Alphonse into this theory, but what about Jushtin? You said only HEKAPOO'S mission was a success, but both Alphonse and Jushtin didn't make it back. Also, Alphonse was able to come back later for that portrait to be painted, but not Jushtin after Solaria passed down her book, wand, and reigns as queen to her daughter, Eclipsa. Like, really. No news of Jushtin at all since the war had a stalemate after Solaria's death. Isn't that SUSPICIOUS? That the one guy who shares traits with Marco isn't in this theory that much?
Heres a theory i have please look into it Here is my reason Star Butterfly is the most powerful Butterfly in Mewni When Queen Moon made the deal with Eclipsa to use dark magic to defeat Toffee in exchange for Eclipsa freedom that dark magic mixed with Queen Moon and gave her the marks on her arms while Toffee wasn't defeated Eclipsa wasn't set free so the deal wasn't complete As time went on and when Star was born my guess Queen Moon worried that Star inherited Eclipsa dark magic and would become what Eclipsa was but i dont think thats the case Star was born out of love and her parents propley gave her all the love in world growing up and as many people know love is the most powerful magic in the universe and that love mixed with Eclipsa dark magic and created something extraordinary when Star used the All Seeing Eye from Eclipsa chapter she perfected in 1 try as many people know when your learning a new spell especially dark magic it takes alot of practices but the fact Star mastered it in 1 try got me thinking When Star was being evaluated by Baby and tried one last time on the apple it spilt in half using dark magic but it created a beautiful tree the gave Baby the perfect apple and went back to Queen Moon and told her that Stars magic nowhere near her mothers level it far beyond Queen Moon power and said she hasn't seen magic like this sense Queen Eclipsa and thats would made me believe that Star possess light magic from the love of her friends and her family and she possess the dark magic from Eclipsa because a part of her lives inside Star and those who possess light and dark magic go on to become great and powerful and that is why Star Butterfly is the must powerful Butterfly in Mewni she was born from light and darkness she is the perfect Butterfly

Also when Eclipsa's magic got to the realm of magic by Queen Moon (which there is where it counts as a correption) it was supposed to corrept the magic but becuase Eclipsa's magic is an inside type while Star's an outside type Eclipsa's correption will get inside to the bottom of the realm of magic through Star's magic considering Star's magic keeping Toffe's correption down makes it be less active on the top which will allow Eclipsa's correption to get deep inside of the realm of magic to where Toffe's correption is and those 2 correptions will mix thogether making Toffe's power be stronger than before allowing him to be able to talk to Marco to get him to be evil. The whole toffe part is my idea so please don't take it without telling me first and I'd like to know your opinions on my theory.

What happened to Solaria’s brother Justin? Could he have ended up on Earth as well? Hear me out, because as far as I can tell Justin disappears after the entry about the mission with Alphonse and Heckapoo. Only Heckapoo was successful according to Solaria, so what happened to Justin? Is it possible that both Alphonse and Justin found themselves in different places on Earth and their dimensional scissors lost or destroyed it the process. Both of them coming into contact with the descendants of the Mewmans that fell victim to Skywing’s spell. One or both of Marco’s parents could be descended from Alphonse and Justin, since we know very little about Marco’s family tree.
It should be noted that if Justin never returned to Mewni then that would explain why none of his children claimed the throne after Eclipsa abdicated. Justin was the elder brother of her mother Solaria, so it would stand to reason that his children could have claimed the throne if he could not do so, such as if he was considered to old to reclaim the wand or had already died like his sister. But there is nothing, which leads me to believe that Justin never managed to return to Butterfly castle. If you compare them you can that there is a certain resemblance between Justin, Angie and Marco which cements the idea that Justin could have created a new life for himself on Earth. Thus both his bloodline and possibly Alphonse’s manage to come together at some point through some twist of fate later down the line. Remember Eclipsa was in prisoned three hundred years ago according to the shows cannon, which gives this idea merit. If this was true then it would explain Toffee’s reaction to Marco as he would be a relative of Solaria the Monster Carver, the actions of whom would still resonate with the Monster community.
As to the part about the Blood Moon, if Alphonse was reaching out to Marco through the portrait then it could have been the Butterfly family ancestors wanting Marco help restore the true bloodline to the throne through his bond with Star. Sorry about the length of this theory but I needed to get this down. Now I will admit I could be wrong, but until the show proves me wrong I will stand by it.

I could very well be wrong about Marco being descended from Justin, but I do believe that he does have Mewni ancestry due to one or both of his parents. There is so much evidence to suggest that there is some kind of link, that cannot all be the fans misinterpreting everything. Only time will tell, if we are right or not.

Who knows this might be the Rose Quarts is actually Pink Diamond scenario all over again. What I mean is only a few people believed it was true and when it turned out to be true, the people that believed it was, lost their minds because they were told they were wrong for so long.
Lily Hopper We can only hope that doesn’t happen again with the fandom’s reaction, but as I said all we have are theories and speculation to go on until we get confirmation either way. The whole thing with Steven Universe was always going to be divisive regardless as the subject of Pink Diamond was a major plot point in the shows narrative. So whatever the writers decided would have had a big impact on the show going forward, both with narrative and the fandom. The idea of Marco being of Mewni descent has not been a dominant theory in this fandom when compared to the recent arc with Eclipsa with whom the fans were trying to decide whether or not she was truly evil. This arc lead to the revelation that Festivia was not Eclipsa’s daughter as everyone both in the show and fandom was led to believe and that the Magic High Commission, hid this fact in order to prevent the Butterfly Family magic wand falling into the hands of what they viewed as a monster. The next season should help flesh out the Butterfly Family more and maybe we will get an answer about Marco, who knows except for the writers. If I wrong, then all I have is answer and theory that I enjoyed creating. No harm no foul.

Also, it could be his soul being bonded to Star as well from the blood moon. I don’t think he’s related to the butterflies at all. Festivia isn’t a butterfly and yet, she has magical capabilities from the wand. The same can be said for Marco.
All Mewmans have magical potential if they're around magic enough. That's why the royal family has cheekmarks, they were straight up born into an area with high magical content. Festiva just proves that any Mewman can have cheekmarks. We don't see any monsters have cheekmarks when they use magic tho. Meaning that the cheekmarks are a Mewman thing. Maybe humans get them too maybe not (we hvnt seen any other human use the wand) but up until now it seems as if one has to have Mewman blood in order to get cheekmarks. So yeah he got his cheekmarks because hes exposed to magic but also he only has those marks because hes part Mewman 🤷🏿

It is to be noted that Ludo/Toffee came into possession of one half of the wand and used magic heavily, but did not develop cheek marks, this might be because the wand was halved, or because they are full-blooded monsters and thus not affected by magic in the same way mewmans and halfbloods like meteora are, but that's just some food for thought. Perhaps you're right, and because Marco is a half-blood human/mewman, that's why he got cheek marks, and not just because he used the wand. Either that, or humans and mewmans have similar enough biology that magic has similar effects on both species, or the wand was too weak for cheek marks to develop on toffee/ludo.

I have a different Theory I think that his ancestor is actually Justin. Festivia had the marks since birth. It wasn't magic that gave them to her. She actually didn't really care much for magic. Also, Daron Nefcy has metioned that there is a lot of twists and that you should look deep into the show because that how she writes the story. She loves easter eggs

I thought that Marcos cheek marks are there, because
star’s soul is intertwined with his, by the blood moon, so star and Marco might share magic, but Marcos cheek marks don’t always show, because he needs a source of magic. Just like Meteora (Ms. Haynes).
Marco’s source is the wand, or him kissing star. Now star already has a direct source of magic, which is the Magic Dimension, and Marco kind of feeds off star, or the wand. (Not sure which one. Or maybe both.)
Ms. Haynes, when we first saw her, didn’t have the cheek marks, because her source of magic was cut off. And then it was refilled by getting the magic from others. (Princesses? Not sure)
Marco and Meteora are both hybrids, because they’re both affected by magic, but one is a monster and the other is a human.
Meteora is affected by her parents, Globgore (half-monster) and Eclipsa (half-magic).

I love the idea of Marco being part of the butterfly line HOWEVER I can't let go of noticing little things. Deep down I believe that cheek marks are just a side effect of using magic, and if he uses magic even more then he might even be able to dip down or butterfly transform. I've noticed that only the royal family uses magic and they are the only Mewmans with cheek marks. Even festivia didn't have cheek marks as a baby and then after given the wand she developed them. All in all I can't wait to see Marco use magic more!

Also; Mariposa Diaz (Marco’s sister) has cheek marks in the Netherzone.

What if were looking at it the wrong way what if Marco is descendant from monster, that would explain the creepy wand, which reminded me of the time ludo held the wand. This could as good of a possability as any other, sure this would be hard taking in consideration that humans would fear monsters, but there is a chance that a more human like monster came to earth and had a family.

ok this is one I was so super stoked about. So my theory....why would the ruler of Mewnie send the sole heir to the throne to another dimension to live with strangers? Because they didn't. The Diaz family are actually members of the Royal Court, known to the Butterfly family. In fact, its entirely possible that some of their previous exchange students likely came from Mewnie as well. They were known and trusted by the Royal family, ergo Star was sent to them.
Could possibly Jushtin be Marco's direct ancestor? They have a bit if similar features and it could also explain the painting since Alfons was someone Jushtin respected and admired and could explain how the one and only boy queen just disappears. Would also mean Marco could be of the royal blood line which would provide a great twist

Just found this video and saw the title and instantly said nope to the title. Believe it or not, Mewmans are actually humans. Humans were teleported from Earth to the magic world, forgot their memories and was teleported to a new world (Which is what it would be called at that time), Glossaryck then randomly picks a someone to be queen.
What if Justin remained on Earth since the war was breaking out and Solaria was the Queen? What if Justin, an honest member of the Butterfly Family started his own life on Earth? *What if Marco is a descendant of Justin?* Another plot detail involving Marco and Mewni is actually something that's been going on since not long after we last dealt with Toffie. The Mewmans have never actually accepted Marco, and they still don't as far the Season 4 teaser. This will likely be a running plot where Marco doubts his belonging both on Mewni and Earth. It would be the Perfect Irony if all of that happens, only for him to realize that he was actually a descendant from a lost Butterfly from before the Magic High Comision soiled the Bloodline in lies.

Ah, okay. But still, that doesn't completely disprove my possible theory that Marco might actually be a long-lost Butterfly from the true bloodline. There could be more details in the series that could build up other entries.

It's interesting that they connected Alphonse into this theory, but what about Jushtin? You said only HEKAPOO'S mission was a success, but both Alphonse and Jushtin didn't make it back. Also, Alphonse was able to come back later for that portrait to be painted, but not Jushtin after Solaria passed down her book, wand, and reigns as queen to her daughter, Eclipsa.
Like, really. No news of Jushtin at all since the war had a stalemate after Solaria's death. Isn't that SUSPICIOUS? That the one guy who shares traits with Marco isn't in this theory that much?

Here is my reason Star Butterfly is the most powerful Butterfly in Mewni
When Queen Moon made the deal with Eclipsa to use dark magic to defeat Toffee in exchange for Eclipsa freedom that dark magic mixed with Queen Moon and gave her the marks on her arms while Toffee wasn't defeated Eclipsa wasn't set free so the deal wasn't complete
As time went on and when Star was born my guess Queen Moon worried that Star inherited Eclipsa dark magic and would become what Eclipsa was but i dont think thats the case
Star was born out of love and her parents propley gave her all the love in world growing up and as many people know love is the most powerful magic in the universe and that love mixed with Eclipsa dark magic and created something extraordinary when Star used the All Seeing Eye from Eclipsa chapter she perfected in 1 try as many people know when your learning a new spell especially dark magic it takes alot of practices but the fact Star mastered it in 1 try got me thinking
When Star was being evaluated by Baby and tried one last time on the apple it spilt in half using dark magic but it created a beautiful tree the gave Baby the perfect apple and went back to Queen Moon and told her that Stars magic nowhere near her mothers level it far beyond Queen Moon power and said she hasn't seen magic like this sense Queen Eclipsa and thats would made me believe that Star possess light magic from the love of her friends and her family and she possess the dark magic from Eclipsa because a part of her lives inside Star and those who possess light and dark magic go on to become great and powerful and that is why Star Butterfly is the must powerful Butterfly in Mewni she was born from light and darkness she is the perfect Butterfly

I think that this will is the butterfly affect thing:"Change one thing" -Star's giving up the throne and the wand to Eclipsa "Change everything"-Marco's cheek marks Starting to show up very often,the blood moon ball shines more than ever,I think that there might be a moment when Marco will have to deep down, I think (and hope) that Marco will use his wand again but this time it will stay he's wand and there will be a fight between the 2 rightfulls to the throne of Mewni (Marco and Eclipsa) and then some Dark sorce or someone evil person will try to get Marco to be dark (I think that it'll be Toffe because: correption never realy goes away, And it seems that while Eclipsa's Magic is an outside to an inside power which means that her spells affect the inside part and not the outside part (like how she defeated Meteora or her darkest spell) Star's magic is more like an inside to outside power which means that her spells affect the outside part and not the inside part (like how she created an explosive attack from using the magic that is inside of her as well as getting herself back out from a little ball of pure magic) and so becuase of that when she "killed" Toffe she only destroyed he's outside part-he's body, (that explains how Toffe surrvived even after Star hit him with her most powerfull attack) and so Toffe's correption (he's insides) wasn't destroyed but only being covered up by Star's magic and becuase her magic affect the outside it locked Toffe's correption under her magic completely unnoticed. Also when Eclipsa's magic got to the realm of magic by Queen Moon (which there is where it counts as a correption) it was supposed to corrept the magic but becuase Eclipsa's magic is an inside type while Star's an outside type Eclipsa's correption will get inside to the bottom of the realm of magic through Star's magic considering Star's magic keeping Toffe's correption down makes it be less active on the top which will allow Eclipsa's correption to get deep inside of the realm of magic to where Toffe's correption is and those 2 correptions will mix thogether making Toffe's power be stronger than before allowing him to be able to talk to Marco to get him to be evil.
The whole toffe part is my idea so please don't take it without telling me first and I'd like to know your opinions on my theory.
