I’ve watched this video and never commented until now. I guess was waiting until I ordered one😂. Spoke with Tommy and ordered both the hydraulic guard and bumper. Great folks over there at Precision Armor. Thanks for sharing Sam👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I like how they mounted it to the pallet. Plus how heavy it is. The only thing I think that could be an improvement on the guard. Is is they added some brass bearings to the pin and hinge locations. Which will act as both a bearing surface and a sacrificial wear surface. So its not chipping through the coating as time goes on and rusting out. (which is a real problem for us folks that live on the coast)
I add 350 lb counter weight on my Tl8 with FAE mulcher. Really like the extra weight. Little added protection for door. Not as good as yours. Looks awesome! Thanks for video.
Theres so many improvements with these new machines in lift capacity, hydraulic flow, operator comfort but I miss the old S series Bobcats that had 1/4" thick plate doors. They didn't have armour, they didn't need armour
How many hours are on the 12 now? We have the previous model year TL10 and there is a hand screw valve to shut the flow of coolant over the heater core and that helps cool the AC down a little too. It helped with ours because we had the same problem. Not sure about the newer ones though.
A hydraulic winch off a 5 Ton military truck, if it fits in the hole, might adf a couple hundred more pounds for counterweight... Or as big of a hydraulic winch as you can fit in the hole to get additional value out of the winch.
Question.... I’ve notice in some of your vids you haul away timbers. Do those timbers have value? And if so, who do you sell them to and how do you work out the timber value with the land owner? For example, do you you take the value off the bill, keep the profits, or work out a split? I’m very curious. Thanks
More efficient system? Better cab dynamics? These skid loaders/track loaders are packing 10 lbs of stuff in a 5 lb. space. Before these built-in factory units we used the old rooftop units and they kicked butt! But they had their problems too (namely height restrictions).
Now the real test is to back it into a fence simulating a new guy running the machine in a tight space and learning the hard way to figure out where your maneuver area is before going to work.
Your Takeuchi looks just like mine, I got a dent on my back door and the stickers are peeling. The back doors on these are not made like the bobcat which are a lot thicker steel
I have got to stop watching your videos. My new Takeuchi TL12R will be here next week and I just texted my sales guy to install this bumper on my machine. Had no idea it was a local company to me in Mississippi. You are costing me some money man! Stop it!
Love that bumper! And it is hinged too!
Nice bumper! I love my TL12V2. I just passed the 50 hour mark. Thanks for the info.

Sweet!! The little things do make a big difference at times.

Looks awesome. Can’t wait to see a winch on that thing.
That bumper looks very nice on there it adds a level of toughness. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
That’s a nice useful bumper 👌🏻

Nice! I need one for Cat 299D3. What was the damage + shipping?
Put a behind. The cab limb riser cab protection packages on the 12 track loader
That 12 got BACK

Man thats some sick new gear for the tl12 😎👌
Really like the body armor on the Takeuchi! When I get mine I’m gonna do the same thing!
Nice work man!
Just picked up our second TL12... this one is a R2. Hoping for better A/C performance and serviceability than the old 12
They're a great skid steer and us Kubota engines etc
Just an idea if you needed to add more weight you could fill the insides of the tubes of the bumper with lead. Just melt it in.
I was going to say the same thing.
The bumper is pretty heavy by itself actually unless you have the mulcher on you have very little downforce even with the tl12
Keep up the good work Sam
Radius arms makes perfect sense in your application. Add the weight in armor and winch. Better.
Global should consider working with precision armor. God bless

The only thing missing is Tuning your Tak to 125HP to make your own SuperTrak. Please, pretty please with sugar on top.
A winch attachment. what a good idea for when you get stuck in the mud 🤔
I had one custom made couple yrs ago for TL250 for 18K winch.
Looks good 👍
Looks good
Hearty bumper👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎
Hi Tint your windows It will give you the upgrade in cooling you want.
Tint works wonders!

do you think there is a market for a heemeyer kit for a skid steer? 🤔
Any possibility the winch could be hydraulic? Would love to see something like that!
Need a 1" thick plate on top of bumper then you might back up the hill.
Ever had any trouble with that rayco grinder ? Is it the deutz diesel
Tint the windows and paint the roof white and you'll be amazed how much better the A/C will work...
Why is it that the black cab on the primetech no tint keeps the at 40f?

I like it.
Sam looking for a hammer,Dad grabs a log.
Very nice
Hey There Sam, what app did you use to check % of grade...hope u are staying cool
Did the hydro guard cause any noticeable visibility issues out the left side of machine?
No

👍🏻
Question you’ve probably been asked 25 times what kind of phone case is that?
Your Takeuchi looks just like mine, I got a dent on my back door and the stickers are peeling. The back doors on these are not made like the bobcat which are a lot thicker steel
Expect bob cats overal suck
V-BELT and SON exactly that why I sold mine and bought a tak!
Now you need to tint your windows, keeps it cooler
Sam, can you share the price of the bumper? That looks well made.
Tim
Contact them on the price.
Now just put a bracket on that bumper for some suit case weights.
Or fill bumper with concrete
Want to buy a jacket please help.
What winch are you planning on putting on it?
Not sure yet
That is a track loader not a skid steer my man!
I say that all the time but it’s easier to ppl to just read skid steer and go on their way lol
V-BELT and SON Hahaha that makes sense! Didn’t mean for it to come off as me being an ass but it kind of did! I apologize!
Why is your dad so much cooler than you?
Because he’s the real deal
I😎👍🏻👌
