This is the best video I've found that demonstrates how to stack delays. Great job! Subbed 👍 As an unrelated side note, I absolutely love your tattoo work. Looks incredible and it suits you well.
Thanks for breaking this down so well! I have a Belle Epoch and a Source Audio Collider so it should be a breeze. May even try it just with the Collider using the dual engines in both delay mode. I love the sound of Andy Timmons dual delay... it's so good
That are some great delay tips! I was searching for Keeley Halo alternative and this video came up. Just bought the old TC Electronic Nova nd1 and I was wondering can in it do that dual echo Andy Timmons sound. Any tips on that? Thanks
hey Edvin, that's a grea pedal. the ping pong and pan modes should get you very close as they mix quarter notes and dotted eights, but it won't be as rich because the two delays are not in series. If you get another simple pedal you can do it perfectly.
Great video Vinnie! Quick question: I have this same Flashback pedal that you used here… the pedal has a small switch in the very middle of it, with delay subdivisions… if you set this switch in the last position, it will give you a delay every 1/4th note and dotted 1/8th, which should be very close to 500ms and 375ms… so, wouldn’t it be the exact same effect, but using only one pedal? or do I still need to use the second delay pedal on series? Thank you so much! 😊😊
that's a great point, that switch does get pretty close. but because the two delays are not in series, it doesn't produce exactly all the repeats. so it sounds a bit less lush and less modulated as well, because two delays would have two individual modulations. basically it sounds less atmospheric. but it's a great compromise. I use it like that all the time, if you put the delay knob just before 1pm you get the right tempo as well!
Hi Pete & Vinnie, can you react Ayu Gusfanz, a young lady guitarist from Indonesia? She is goddess of metal guitarist, now she was 17 years old, she playing many covered songs and she has over 10 original songs. Her first original song tittle is "Chromatic Metal" when she was 9 years old. Other her original song tittle "Save My Forest" collaboration with Derek Sherinian, ex-Dream Theater. I hope you guys willing to react her. Thank you.
Aw man ! You're missing two of the most important parts of the sound ! The delays should be panned apart, hard left and right. full stereo, and there should be stereo modulation on the delays.
Very helpful video. The settings are great, thanks for sharing!
thank you Fahim, glad you like it!
Thank you so much for this man! May God bless you
Awesome video. Thanks!

@@PeteVinniePlay thank you! I'll try it :)
Nice tutorial, thanks from Brazil! Even though you said it perfectly, i'd say you delay mixes could be a bit higher, even more if playing with a band.

Sounds like a Chorus pedal to me? And at loud volume I don't think anyone could tell the difference?
there is some modulation on the repeats for one of the delays. At a loud volume it'd be even better I think! you get a huge atmospheric sound
It sounds like slightly modulated cascading delays to me. A wonderful effect and clearly distinct from chorus.
Hi, l am from indonesia
Mas bahhh! tenho a impressão que conheço esse gaudério aí
