Hey, my friend have you ever fished Melones Reservoir or Don Pedro for crappie? My brother and I caught 25 one time they were 18 inches long, after we cleaned them we had 65 pounds of fish. And they didn't fit in the cooking skillet
@@trussmoutdoors wow. It’s a mistake to not use top water lures at SLR. 1hr before and after dark Or when the wind kicks up . Everytime i fish there I always have 3 rods rigged. Jerk bait,swim. And top water.

@@jessegallardo9156 I fished at Melones but never at Don Pedro, just caught the regular size when I was there.
