Meanwhile i've got a dirt path leading to my house and some flowers, building these islands is so hard to me even if i'm copying ideas so i'm kinda convinced people who do everything themselves including qr designs are another species xD

Been in the same boat lately. I came across Island Planner and it honestly helps a lot, it leta you visualize a basic layout. You may not have any semi fancy things in it (like other flower types) but it proves enough that should be able to help at least a little~
I wasn't able get my specific islands shape uploaded to it, so I have it as a rough guide as some things are a bit of.
So if that part of it is being particularly difficult, I would recommend downloading Island Planner on your computer if you can
Omg....trying to make my own designs was a joke. They were so cursed and looked like a 2 yr old made them. Instant delete 😂😂
The fact that there are HUMAN BEINGS out there creating these islands and unique codes is mind boggling. And then they get their island done in 2 wks, upload a DA, and start a new one?! HOW. Not only how is anyone that talented but how do they have the time 😭😭

Shino’s sunken residence blew my mind! I would love to visit it and see how it looks on top view. Felt like there are more to see what’s hidden on the sunken area. I tried pausing to get a glimpse of whats in there haha! Thank you for sharing these builds!
Meanwhile, I'm proud of myself for using Medieval walls 🤣 This is absolutely what i was so excited for when i saw how much stuff we were getting in the update. The creativity of humans is mindboggling.

i love so much of this!! i’m def going to build my island/town on the top level of cliffs so i can carve out the second and ground levels. i’ve been playing the DLC to acquire items and inspiration before committing to a build lol

the first build reminds me sooo much of the game "cattails"! it has a sort of ruins like that

hey i have a problem.. so its about the designs in the design inventory (obv) and i already have 20 rows and the inventory is completely filled. The problem is now i need more designs to use it for different things on the island (diff ground at this place and a diff one on the other place, maybe a blanket here maybe a blanket there) and the problem is now if i replace the designs it also replaces the design on the island!! For example: i replace a blanket design with a dirt path, and so it does on the island! do you guys have the same problem ??? what do i do??

No kidcore 😭😭 What a shame.. I have a kidcore, citycore island. I did however, enjoyed seeing the different builds. People can be so creative. ♡ It still blows my mind. 🤯
I thought the same thing, no horror or elegant or farm and hardly any holidays or academia themes either! I'm feeling very inspired but i'd love a part 2 to explore more ideas and themes with the 2.0 items since they're are sooo versatile!

That’s the glowing moss pond! It’s a DIY :) you can get it from the DLC island or the glowing moss island Kapp’n takes you to! Though that island is a bit rare

meh. diagonal paths will not look good until we get diagonal fence placements or ramps. Until then they always look bad
