Honestly my favorite pallette was the natasha denona I need a nude.Such a great versatile palette.i use it constantly and I have ALOT of eyeshadow palettes.I also really liked the new anastasia palette.That one got me too.

My favorite palette was definitely the ND I need a nude, so basic but so good

My top 2 palettes were ND I Need a Nude and Patrick Ta's Major Dimensions III. I like to top the Major Dimensions look with Space Cowboy. Both palettes are gorgeous and all that I need!

I would soo love to see you use that Bella beautè bar basic witch pallet with the darker pinky/purples in the crease and outer corner and a pop of that beautiful duo chrome blue on the inner corner. Would be SO beautiful!!

My favorite palette was the I Need a Nude. Although it’s pricey (it is my first ever ND purchase), it is so practical for my everyday makeup! Also, it’s not new, but I was loving the Nabla Side By Side palette, too. 😊 Happy New Year!
My favorite was Hersheys x Glamlite cookies n cream. I used it for my wedding day in December. Perfect for a snowy day in Scandinavia.

I’ve been wearing cool toned neutrals for the past month and love the way they look. Glamlite Ghostface and Huda Grunge are top tier palettes.

My top 10 would probably all be indie except maybe two. A few that you didn’t feature is glaminatrix rich romantic and ensley reign twisted tea party. I fell hard for Bella beate bar this year as well.

I'm really surprised at the lack of Christmas/Holiday palette releases this year!! Only one I can think of was Gourmand Girls with a kind of Hannaka(?) color story.
You’re right! A few came out “for the holidays” but not many actually themed fur Christmas/Holidays.
Fun video! Thx, Leah! I might need to get the nomad palette! My fave/most used palettes this year were Doll 10’s Dollsquad 2.0 and Iconic London’s Day to Slay. But I loved Alter Ego’s Midsummer and Coastal palettes, too!

My small town got its first Sephora a few weeks ago and I was so excited. Then mad. It’s been 5 years since I’ve stepped inside a Sephora and it wasn’t a good time. Is it me or is all the packaging cheap and all the same? Just a different color. It was easy to not make a spur of the moment purchase even tho that was my intention going there. Even the perfume bottles are cheap and ugly. My Canadian prices are ridiculous so it’s pretty hard to spend a good chunk of change on chincy products that look like they came from Clair’s

I purchased four Colourpop palettes, two of which were recommended by you. They're nice. But, MandyLea got me curious enough to try Natasha Denona eyeshadow during a Black Friday sale. I started with the mini Starlette palette and I would say that's probably my favorite palette of the year. Since then, I've splurged on two more ND mini palettes and a midi one that I actually got for free.
Love Colourpop’s affordable palettes but Natasha’s formula is so good 😍
I was really excited to discover Ensley Reign and Simply Posh this year. I also love everything BellaBeauteBar releases.

Loved your review on these palettes. Haven’t gotten any Natasha Denona palettes in a long time. Saw the I need a nude palette on display recently in Sephora and had no idea how small these were. lol. I haven’t tried anything 2023 made palettes. But will say that I do enjoy the Huda Beauty Empowered that I got this year and the Pat McGrath Midnight Sun, also purchased and loved this year.

My favorite palette releases this year…. Well it’s a toss up between Natasha denona I need a nude and the Natasha xenon palette! I will say I mostly only use 4 shades from the xenon palette, but I do love those 4 shades so much that the palette is still worth it to me at full price! (Nightsky, Ebb, Snowbow & Skift). I do use these shades from xenon with some neutral browns (nurture and aspiration from the ND My dream
Palette. You could also use some of the browns from huda pretty grunge). Anyways, xenon and I need a nude are my top two favorite releases of the year!
Edit to add some other palettes I did enjoy: Pat McGrath love story iconic infatuation, glamlite cookies and cream…. Pat McGrath starlit splendour and lunar nightshade were fun to use. I used the dark mattes from the bronze ecstasy quint to darken up looks with starlit splendour. They weren’t the best ever palettes but they were still fun to use.

Natasha all around has a really great formula so I would say Yucca! As long as you like those tones. I know the nomad is more cool toned neutral leaning

I tried quite a few palettes but most were older releases. My favorite so far are adept samerian sunset & odens eye trick or treat. Interested in nomad. I did notice some of indie eyeshadows irritate my eyes.

I’m a huge Sydney Grace fan! blessed, loves journey, heaven and earth for my three favorite harvest & bloom from profusion reAlly surprised me! Several different textures including cream to powder,shimmers,foils, sparkly toppers a d pigmented Matt’s that blend like a dream. And the price point omg😮try the harvest palette it’s better a d more shades tan ND Yucca I promise

I'm the same, i tried mainly indie this year, and i tried my first smaller indie brands in 2022 . It was Unearthly cosmetics and Oden's eye, and omg, blow me away, so in 2023 i tried alot of new indie brands because they gave me something different. I tried Nomad, Gourmande girls, Bella beaute bar, Ace beaute, Cosmic brushes, Arttitude cosmetics, Blend bunny, Fantasy cosmetica, Glaminatrix. Yep i tried alot, i fell hard for indie in 2023. So i want to try more in 2024 i have some more brands i want to try, like Simply posh i just tried them today, January 1st, with the Aurora palette, and it's beautiful 😍 i could go on all day about indie brands 😂 the ones that really blow me away in 2023 was Cosmic brushes, Bella beaute bar, Blend bunny and Unearthly cosmetics 😊
And I bought 3 of the FC palettes !!!! LOL
That shade from the fantasy cosmetics GLORIA, is it at all similar to the shade Snowbow in the ND Xenon palette? Maybe similar but more intense? Or not at all….
I don’t think they are similar. The xenon palette is more metallic looking while this shade in fantasy cosmetics actually shifts
