Look how everyone else is simping for them just because of this 60 Minutes puff piece... How those that was convinced of their guilt are simping for them now... Do you honestly believe this 60 Minutes puff piece wasn't strategize for this very effect?
Look up Leona Helmsley? It was her attitute that got her sent to prison... "We don't pay taxes... only the little people pay taxes." Yeah it's also the little people that convicted her and got her sent to prison...😂😂
Look up the 60 Minutes puff piece on the Clintons that propped up their sagging rating in the polls and got them into the Whitehouse.... 60 Minutes admitted later that was the very reason they done the show the way they did was to help the Clintons to win the presidency... @glennpuckett9746 7 дней назад

Could be, yet you have to take into account that unless she lived a very sheltered life, she would have been exposed to high pressure situations being married to whom she was.
Her anxiety isn't any different than any other criminal when confronted by authorities, trying to tell a story while at the same time keep the truth covered up, trying not to reveal anything damaging to the narrative. Ppl always craft the story to put themselves in a favorable light while condemning the very ones they were in cahoots with.
Her slowness of speech could also allow her to craft the story as she tells it, kind of like someone asking you to repeat a question so they can have time to think of an answer.
It is possible for her to be ignorant of his antics... very much so... yet if you had been in her situation... wouldn't you want to know where the money was coming from?

She married the man at 18, practically a child herself. They grew up together. He was all she knew. I always thought she was treated a bit harshly for not immediately cutting ties with him. It wasn’t as simple as it seemed. Odd story about the attempted suicide though. Rather than writing their sons letters of apology or love they just sent them a bag of jewels in the mail with no explanation. Shows the role that material things played in their lives.

Clothes, furniture, houses, jewelry, cars, antiques, china, art, etc., basically anything that could be used to give the victims some bit of restitution. The high life this family lived, was paid for by all of the families that were swindled out of their money. Even if she didn't know, she certainly benefited from her husband's crimes. Refute all of your worldly possessions, give back the money you were trying to hide and you can have a public defender.
