Anna if you ever read this I just want to say as a die hard halo fan who has played all the games, read all the books and watched all the live action films. You did a great job portraying your character and you did the halo community proud. Same with all the other actors or actress who were in the movie you all did well.
There is something very innocence and unassuming about her something that is lacking in many actors who have been working from quite an early age. Other actors use a easy going personae to mask someone who is difficult on the set, but it is easy to believe she is a simple girl from the word go, to bother with contrivances.
I miss this. She was pretty cool.

first time i watched this i did shed a tear at her fate, haven't every other time i watched it, that and other epic moments make me wish i could forget the movie and watch it again

Anna Popplewell’s eyes are so expressive with emotions whether in interviews or performing. A very talented actress and gracious Lady… and a delightful voice.
She was main favorite person in this movie, because I knew and loved her in The Chronicles of Narnia movie franchise as Susan Pevensie. It's unexpected that the same people that made her bow, quiver, and arrows are the ones who made her gun and some/most of the other things in this movie.

Great video. I love how she spoke about the squad and being a team. I remember my own Military basic training and becoming a Flight and being accountable to each other. Reminds me that there is no "I" in Team or Squad. And if you screw up too much, too often expect a "Blanket Party",just like in "Full Metal Jacket". Aim High, Force Forever. Semper Loyalis" , Ever Loyal. In Battle & War, winning is not everything, it i the only thing that matter. The "W", . Win for Hastati , Axios .

Yeah in Halo the flood. If I remember right there was a marine named Silva who had a great deal of animosity for the Chief.
It's still out of focus in HD. Watch it as a full screen video and you can see even more clearly that the plane is where the focus was set at.

9:20 great insight. I never really thought about it like that. Maybe we are all so judgmental about games being made to movies because we feel like no we been there we know how it should play out.
I think it is greek for "I am worthy." It's something they say in the series.
Very well spoken. A smart young lady. Who obviously has a respect for the game.
Because episodes cost money to make. They spent 10-million creating the series, so that's 2-million per episode. Had there been more then each episode would have had less of a budget, so you wouldn't have likely gotten the same production level.

They did kill off the squad leader. Everyone else too, for that matter. Remeber when Master Chief told the cadets that they were the only survivors on the planet? Anybody who wasn't with the Spartans on the Pelican in the final scene was dead.

you see it is a film, just cut up. this is a test to see how the fans like it. also it just cost them 30million. less than 50million which is a low budget film. I think they did a great job on it and if they made another one I would watch it.

When Rome conquered Greece, they absorbed a whole lot of Greek culture and replaced large parts of their own with it. Greece was a pretty socially advanced culture at the time (moreso than the Romans), and when they were conquered, the Romans just kinda absorbed the Greek culture as their own. It is somewhat common in history for the conquering nation to absorb traits of the conquered, but Rome is kinda known for just copying almost all of Greek culture after they conquered Greece.
