  • In the mountains and rivers of Sichuan, #Georgian #journalist Catherine Gulua started a special #journey of "working". With her deep affection for #China , she recorded the customs and customs of Sichuan with pen and #camera .
Catherine Gulua is founder and managing director of the "MTAVARI" Media Center in Georgia. From #August 29 to September 3, as a member of the joint #interview and research tour of the 2024 Media Cooperation Forum on Belt and Road, Catherine visited Chengdu, Leshan and Meishan to deeply explore the diverse beauty of Sichuan. She has prepared a thick stack of reporting materials for each site, and the first thing she does after visiting is a #video introducing Sichuan with Georgian quotations. By the end of the tour, Catherine Gulua had published six stories about Sichuan, but this was not enough for her, and her exploration and documentation of China continued.
In Sichuan, Catherine saw her favorite giant panda, drank her favorite Emei tea, and experienced traditional Chinese arts such as rubbing, root books and bamboo weaving, which she had never tried before. The beauty of Chinese gardens in Du Fu's cottage and Sansu Temple left a deep impression on her. "In Sichuan, #tradition and modernity are mixed together. It's so much fun!"
During this journey, Catherine not only harvested rich reporting materials, but also met a group of enthusiastic friends. Their laughter and stories became the warmest footnotes in her report.
