    That may be the best rendition of for once in my life,by sammy davis jr.sammy proved once again,why he was the greatest entertainer that ever lived.theres nothing sammy wasnt capable of doing.from ballads to uptempo songs,no one did it better than sammy davis jr.

    Not sure which performance was the best. They were all mind-blowing! This is truly from the golden age of entertainment. We're lucky we get to watch this stuff so easily!

    Could you please credit the blonde soul singer Joanne Vent. There’s very, very little footage of her performing during her short life and this is, by far, the very best footage of her.

    Don't know if this was at Hef's Place on Dearborn St. in Chicago or not but that area was really pristine back then. Can you imagine living on floor below and hearing all of the Entertainers who visited there & performed. Native Chicagoan who transplanted to DFW Tx. at end of 2018..

    As a 16 year watching this, I remember laughing at all the older adults trying so hard to be cool (especially Hef) and be a part of the youth culture. They didn't succeed. The dancing, lol.
    While Sammy's talent was appreciated, he also was part of our parent's culture and not what we wanted to see.
    Such a strange show, Hef couldn't decide who he wanted to appeal to, his age group, or the youth. I think he tried to do both and failed.
